'Where am I? am I in the hospital...'

I slowly opened my eyes to see a papillon dog sleeping peacefully on my stomach.

'What the actual fuck is this? "

The door then swung wide open scaring the shits out of me. There stood a 5' 8" tall, athletically built, olive-skin. He seems attractive, wearing loose-fitting clothes, has fine, dark brown hair, and attractive light brown eyes.

There he stood, staring straight at me in the eyes.

"nerd," he says, leaving the room.

'What the actual fuck kind of the hospital am I in?'

'Wait am I even in the hospital' I looked around my surroundings there was lots of weird science crap near a small desk in the far right of my bed, a telescope looking forward towards a window, and some sort of rock collection on the drawer in the far left, a guitar near the long rectangle wall mirror and lots of posters of Doja Cat, Duke Ellington (whose a jazz player for those who don't know :)) and well-know scientists such as Marie Curie, Isaac Newton, Albert Einstein, etc.

The dog laying on my stomach yawning stood up and walked out.

'Where the fuck am I?'

This wasn't my room. I quickly got up and looked at myself in the mirror.

There stood a young boy with light brown pastel eyes, black silky slicked-back hair, wearing bulky glasses, wearing a button-up blue shirt with polka dots pants suspenders.

I looked like a clown. What the fuck is wrong with this person's fashion sense.

One thing I was certain of was that I was in someone else's body.

But goddamn it, all I remember was that I was being chased by some psycho and died.

Hmm... whose did I end up in? I know I'm in some kind of character like those reincarnated stories, but the thing was whose character body was I in? I read over 200+ novels so it's not like I can immediately guess who I was...

Judging from that guy that barged into the room and called me a nerd, maybe I'm an extra? Some kind of villain, I would doubt that with this kind of fashion sense. I'm most likely am an extra. Might as well explore my new environment.

I took a deep breath as I step outside my room. I as look in front of me. There were two doors across from my room and my left was a door as I walk into the room next to me was just your average bathroom.

Being the petty bitch that I was and wanting to take revenge on the fucker that barged into my room and left, the door opened after he called me a nerd. I just hope I got into the right room.

BAM! Barging right into the room, standing there looking stupid because there is nobody is in the room. Much to my disappointment, I turned around to continue my exploration to find that guy right in front of me, scaring the fuck out of me.

"AH! FUCKS SAKE STOP SCARING ME!" I yelled

" The hell you're the one who's in my room nerd" as he glares at me

"I have a name you know"

"Yea and its nerd," he says, tilting his head.

"And did you just curse at me?"

"Leroy! Ayden! Come down for dinner!" A tall, fair-skinned woman with shoulder-length, straight black hair wearing a plain white dress with loose sleeves appeared in front of us. Overall, she was a very attractive pleasant-looking young woman.

"What's all the yelling for? It's time for dinner?" she says as she walked down the flight of stairs

"Coming mom!" Ayden says, following her behind

I follow them down the flight of stairs and seated at the dinner table

As our mother set our food on the table.

Ayden shot me a smirk.

'What the fuck?...'

"Mom Leroy cursed at me upstairs in the hall," he told her as she was seating herself down

"Ayden, stop making fake accusations on your brother"

"What? I'm not! He did!"

'snitch.'

"He said fuck sakes right to me," he added on

"No cursing in this house, especially not at the table Ayden," she replied

Meanwhile, while they were having their conversation, I was lost in my thoughts on whose body I was in. Seems like my name is Leroy and the guy beside me is Ayden, my older brother, and the lady across from me is our mother.

'Leroy, Leroy, Leroy'

Every time I try to remember this Leroy character but I just can't put my finger on who this guy was. In the end, I just gave up and assumed I was some baseless extra. Although it would be interesting on what novel I was in, though.

Snapping me out of my thoughts was shouting

"Ayden Leon Terrell! No cursing at this table!" Mom shouted

"But he did curse! Didn't you Leroy?! You better not lie too?!" He shouted, glaring at me.

Wait, Terrell?...is that our last name? Then it hit me, Holy fucks I was Leroy Terrell, the dorky love interest in 'Be Mine'!

You got to be shitting me.

"Leroy!" Ayden shouted at me once again, snapping me out of my thoughts

"huh- oh Ummm... He scared me so I cursed a little..." I confess to not wanting this argument to escalate and to focus on my thoughts.

"See I told you!" He says sounding proud as if he got a victory

"Leroy...I'm a little disappointed in you... But everybody makes mistakes so ill let it slide since you confessed that you did," she said nodding her head and smiling at me.

"w-wait a minute your just letting him go? just like that?" Ayden exclaims

"Well, he could have lied about it and I could have still defended him but he decided to tell me the truth unlike a certain someone that I know wouldn't have told the truth," she says pitifully smiling at him

"That's- ugh whatever. " He then began eating his food

While this was happening, I still couldn't wrap my mind around that I was the dorky love interest, Leroy Terrell.

Alright, let me review Leroy's character. Leroy is the cringe, smart dork who has terrible fashion sense and talks to rocks. He has no friends except Genesis. He is a total loner who's a huge simp for genesis. His family consists of only his single mother who works in real estate and his older brother Ayden who plays volleyball. Their father left them for another woman, fucking prick.

When Leroy first meets genesis, he gets picked on by a bunch of kids. Genesis seeing this then defends Leroy and since then they became 'best friends.'

But when they got to 8th grade that all changed. They were always together, like two peas in a pod. People noticing this started teasing them about them dating each other, spreading weird rumors, even going as far as to name them the dork couple. Genesis's being so embarrassed by all of this, without realizing it she slowly distances herself from him.

When Leroy asks genesis which school she's attending, she straight up lied to his face saying she was going to X high school when she knew damn well she was going to enroll for StoneWood academy. On the last week of school when they were in lunch. Leroy then decided he was gonna confess his love for genesis in front of the whole school. You wanna know what my man does?! HE GIFTS HER A 13,000$ DIAMOND NECKLACE AND THAT BITCH GOT EMBARRASSED AND REJECTED IT!

Ahem, I should calm down. I mean he did gift it to her in front of the whole cafeteria and the male lead, but still! My man was so hurt after this he even got depressed. When I read that part of the novel I started throwing my hands at the air.

Snapping me out of my thoughts was my mother calling out to me

"So Leroy, Have you still not changed your mind about attending Stonewood academy," my mother said glancing at me

Startled by her question, I start frantically looking for an answer.

"Ummm... I'm still deciding..." I said looking down at my plate and eating.

"I still think you enrolling into X high school is a waste of your potential"

'Oh, that simp did enroll in X high school thinking gen was gonna be there, only to not find her there and being a loner, poor guy.'

"I'm able to pay for the tuition fees, so I still can't see why you want to go to X high school?" She looks at me expecting an answer.

"He's only going because of genesis" Adyden intervened.

"Aaah I see..." she says signing to herself

"Besides mom, he can still attend a good college it's not the end of the world."

'Awww he's taking my side'

"I know I know" she signs to herself once again, finishing her food

"So, you still gifting that diamond necklace to her?" Ayden said looking at me.

'Wait... I HAVE IT?!'

Shocked by this I just stupidly started at Ayden with wide eyes.

'Fucks no, I'm not giving her that necklace I'm just gonna go back to the jewelry store and refund it, since I was gonna be living as Leroy from now on, might as spend it on myself

"well are you?..."

"Nope," I said bluntly.

"Why not, I thought you said you liked her? You even worked at papa Louis pizzeria for the whole year to save up for that diamond necklace" mom shocked at my answer.

Not knowing what to say, I'll just act a little.

"She likes someone else..." I said putting on a pitiful sad face.

"That's tough, can't relate," Ayden said going back to eating his food.

'Well fuck you Ayden!'

"Ayden." Mom frowning at Ayden at his response

"No mom it's okay... I got over it... I'm just gonna return it tomorrow" still putting on my act and kept eating my food

"But picka ate the receipt."

'I'm sorry, but who the fuck is picka?'

Frightened by the noise I look down to my left to see a papillon dog looking up at me from the ground.

This little shit ate the receipt.

"Don't worry, she didn't eat I took it from her before she even got the chance too," Ayden picked up his dinner plate and got up.

'Ayden ugh you're so sweet'

"I was gonna keep the receipt and pocket the money if she was gonna reject" then said

'Nevermind your a bitch'

"Anyways I'm heading to bed, cya" with that Ayden left the room.

"Good night sweetie" mom said picking up our plates

"I'll head into bed too," I said getting up

"Night pumpkin," she said smiling at me nodding her head.

After heading into my room and collapsing on my bed I stared at the ceiling

'So this I am Leroy huh?'

I heard a phone ringing from my desk.

When I got up to see who was calling me, I then saw the named contact named as genny <3

'Don't tell me its genesis'

I picked up the phone and answered

[Hello...]

[Hey!]
