85 A Normal Day

Grayfia was standing outside the bath in her usual maid uniform and she seemed to have finished preparing everything.

"I'll have dinner a bit early today," Yuuya said looking at Grayfia.

"As you wish Master," Grayfia bowed as Yuuya went into the bathroom closing the door behind him.

"You are wasting such a good opportunity," Apophis looked at Grayfia with a sigh.

"What are you talking about Apophis-san?" Grayfia asked.

"You are his maid are you not? shouldn't you go in and wash Ash's back?" Apophis really looked regretful that Grayfia was missing such a golden chance.

"Master hasn't asked for it, So, It wouldn't be wise to do that of my own accord," Grayfia said plainly.

"He also hasn't said not to do it, you know?" Apophis said wiggling her eyebrows.

"...I'll go and prepare the food," Grayfia said as she turned around and left, she knew that Yuuya hadn't expressly ordered her to help him take a bath but she didn't want to risk it.

'What a waste, I would've surely gone in if I was a maid,' Apophis shrugged as she went back to the living room.

2 April, 7:00 A.M.

Grayfia exited the kitchen and was on her way to the backyard. It didn't take long for her to reach there as she came across a familiar sight.

SWISH* WHOOSH*

Yuuya was swinging around a wooden spear, and even though they looked like normal swings without much power or weight behind them.

'I'll die if even one of those land on my head or heart,' Even then Grayfia was more awed than scared, Yuuya wasn't even using magic and this was the result.

'I don't know how many years of dedicated training would it take to get to this level,' Grayfia had seen Yuuya practice every day for one hour no matter what happened he won't break this habit aside from the time he was passed out. And from what Apophis told her, this seemed to be something he always did.

The clock hit 7:01 as Grayfia shook her head to get the thought out of her mind, it didn't matter to her since this wasn't her duty.

"Master the bath is ready," Grayfia said as Yuuya stopped his movements indicating the end of the practice.

"Alright," Yuuya said as he placed the wooden spear in the storehouse and walked into the house going towards the bath.

Grayfia then went to Yuuya's room to place his ironed school uniform on his bed before checking his bag to see if he has everything he'll need at school. She checked his bag twice in order to make sure nothing is missing.

'The breakfast is next,' Grayfia went towards the kitchen and started to prepare rolled eggs and a few pancakes so that Yuuya could eat them hot. She could use magic to keep the temperature but…

'This wouldn't be better unless I can stop time entirely,' Grayfia thought as she placed all of the plates on the table as Yuuya came into the dining room, he still hadn't changed into the uniform because he wanted to eat first.

It didn't take long before the three had breakfast quickly and got ready to leave.

"Drive properly," Yuuya spoke to Apophis while sitting in the back seat with Grayfia.

"Aye Aye," Apophis saluted with a wink, she bought a car to get Yuuya to school in the morning since he wasn't too keen on using public transport for going to school.

'Well, this works in my favor,' Apophis bought the car as soon as Yuuya told her to yesterday, It was a Black Mercedes S-class.

"Anywhere you want to stop by on the road, Milord?" Apophis asked Yuuya with a smile.

"…Nothing comes to mind," Yuuya said while looking outside the window, nothing was catching his eye as of now and if something did he would tell her.

"I see, so let's pick up Marin-chan," Apophis said with enthusiasm ignoring the gaze from the backseat.

Apophis just smiled since Yuuya didn't say anything as she drove to Marin's house, it didn't take long for them to reach there and Marin seemed to be waiting for them to arrive.

"Marin-chan did we make you wait too long? If we did it all because of the princess in the backseat," Apophis said as she rolled down the windows. Yuuya didn't refute it since there was no point in it, he had indeed caused them to be a little late because he didn't feel like going to school today.

"Not at all, I am more grateful for the lift Apophis-san," Marin laughed as she sat down in the backseat near Yuuya.

"Tis is nothing," Apophis started driving again as she had full plans to do this every day.

"Good morning, Marin-san," Grayfia who was sitting in the passenger seat looked back.

"Morning Grayfia," Marin answered back with a smile.

"You brought your blazer along today," Marin looked at Yuuya who spoke to her.

"Yes I'll bring it every day," Marin said patting the blazer tied around her waist.

'It is hard to keep a straight face,' The scene from yesterday was playing in her head, Marin was fully ready to get more lessons from Grayfia on this subject otherwise it would be bad.

"Hmm, you can borrow mine if you forget," Yuuya said before looking out the window again.

"…" Marin just stayed silent for the rest of the journey.

'You sure are having fun,' Grayfia looked at Apophis's grin and couldn't help but retort in her mind.

'You can join the fun as well,' Apophis wiggled her eyebrows as she moved her lips to form those words.

Grayfia simply looked outside the window as well, the car was full of silence as they all had various things on their mind.

"Ok so that is the last bell, And before leaving let me tell you something," Sawada-sensei said as the school day came to an end.

"What is it sensei?" One of the curious students asked since Sawada was someone who was more eager to run out after the bell rang, even more than the students. So her stopping them must be because it was an important topic.

"Choose a class representative today, don't delay it any further," Sawada-sensei said making the students realize that they had missed something important.

They were all too busy exploring the school grounds that they forgot about this.

"Also, the club fair will be held on Saturday this week, even if you aren't interested in joining a club it would be a good experience, The club members also put in a lot of effort so make sure to look around, Alright? Who knows maybe you'll find something interesting," Sawada said with a smile, the club fair was one of the important events in Ousei academy since it helps their student grow a lot and it is also a good opportunity for them to earn points as well.

"Will do, sensei,"

The students agreed as they were also excited to see how good the club fair was going to be, you know since it is Ousei academy.

"Well, Imma leave," Sawada walked out of the classroom yawning, this actually made her students wonder.

'Why is she always sleepy?'

This was one of the mysteries none of her students have been able to solve yet, since no matter the day or time, Sawada-sensei was always sleepy.

Leaving that aside, the classroom was getting noisier as they were talking about who the class representative would be. There were already a few names everyone had in mind and it seemed one of them stood up going in front of the class.

Everyone stopped talking as they saw the girl look at everyone with her fierce orange eyes and furrowed eyebrows.

The frown on her beautiful face eased a little since everyone was paying attention, she leaned forward on the podium causing her pink twin tails to sway forward.

"As you all know, My name is Takagi Saya, I would like to be the representative of the class, but if there are other candidates please do come up," She said very swiftly as her voice was heard by everyone.

Saya almost seemed certain that no one would stand up and that she had won but there was one challenger.

"I would like to be the representative as well, my name is Ichinose Honami, Nice to meet you everyone," The girl with waist strawberry blonde hair stood up from her seat and spoke to everyone in the class before going in front of the podium standing near Saya.

"Yes, Yuuya as we-Mphm," Marin who stood up to suggest Yuuya's name was pulled back by the person in question as he covered her mouth stopping her from speaking further.

"Ignore her and carry on," Yuuya said to everyone in the class as they saw him standing behind Marin covering her mouth and making her sit down in her seat.

Marin was trying to get Yuuya's hand off her mouth but it wasn't working as she could flail her hands around.

"If you want to, you can join as well Tenjou-kun, I am sure many of the students want you to participate as well," Ichinose said with a smile.
