Victoria and Karthala
While the elves are resting Lawrence decides to walk around the glade and check the progress of the different groups.
This pit and hill should be enough for now, we will start the real training tomorrow.
Lawrence then walked towards the elves and asked the ones that made extra bras to give them to the elves that dug the pit and formed the hill
Lawrence then asked all the able eves to follow him to train on the balancing ropes
"My fellow elves this is called balancing ropes we will need to climb this tree, stand on this twenty-foot-long rope, and then cross it and make it to the other tree and then go down. Do you understand?"
"Climb that tree but it's too high"
"I don't think I can cross the rope even when crawling it"
"won't we die if we fall from that?"
The elves said in protest
These f*ckers it's just 4 feet high, and it's full of grass below. how the hell can you even die from falling from it
"Don't say that my fellow elves, the Goddess herself created this method to make sure you become great warriors. Please don't disappoint her" Lawrence said in a pleading tone
Some elves who protested earlier looked down on the grass
"But I'm sure she will understand if we gather some leaves to fall onto. So please get the softest leaves you can find and we will put them under this rope" Lawrence said with a smile
The elves immediately scattered and get as much as leaves they can
Lawrence decided to practice some nature energy while waiting.
A few minutes later the elves returned and grabbed his attention
Lawrence was dumbfounded to see what the cushion under the rope look
What the hell, the elves made about 2 feet deep leaves they even put some flowers. This looks like a f*cking grave for a king
"all right, now that you're more comfortable crossing this rope, let's start," Lawrence said with an awkward smile
He then climbed the tree using both of his hands and feet. He then put his feet on the rope then slowly crossed it. He managed to reach the other side without falling
Damn, I'm good. I thought I'd embarrass myself and need to think of a way out.
"Alright my fellow elves, you can start doing it," Lawrence said after going down the tree
The red girl first volunteered, then the silver-haired one, and after some time all the elves followed
The sound of Screams and weeping was heard around the area.
Most of the elves fail but there are some few that pass. Including Miss Silver and Little Red huh? Not bad, not bad my future test subject
Anyway, I should heal these slightly injured ones so I can show off a little. The only reward they receive from all this training is the hope that they can do this thing one day after all
"all the injured, please gather here near me and I shall heal you all" Lawrence said with a smile
They all looked at Lawrence with a curious expression. Then his left hand started glowing golden and started healing the injured elves
Sound of gasp are heard all over him, and some clapped.
"wow you're amazing"
"Can I learn that too?"
"please teach me how to do that"
The elves said
"Don't worry my fellow elves, I am sure that goddess Esmeralda has plans for all of us. Please continue training so that one day you can be strong enough to use this kind of energy" Lawrence said with a smile while healing an elf
A few minutes later, Lawrence finished healing the all elves.
Lawrence then gathered all the elves at the middle of the glade and then asked them to return to their homes and come back here tomorrow to continue the training.
"Dear, there's something I need to do first, can you please go home with the others first and wait for me?" Lawrence asked freya
"of course dear I'll prepare dinner so we can eat together later" Freya replied with a smile
By preparing dinner you mean a mashed potato or sweet potato with carrots right? Damn
"Thank dear, I'll see you later" Lawrence replied with a smile
I'll barbeque some rabbit first before heading back home. But before that I'll talk to my lovely test subjects first.
Lawrence then approached the red-haired elf and the silver-haired elf and asked them to follow him
"Hello my fellow warriors, I am Lawrence. May I know what you're names are? Lawrence asked with a smile
"Greeting Lawrence, I am Victoria," the silver-haired elf said
"And I am Karthala," the red-haired elf said
"So Victoria and Karthala, do you want to become mages?" Lawrence asked with a smile while using the power of healing on his hands it's glowing golden
"yeah I want to" Victoria said enthusiastically
"yes! " karthala said loudly while smiling widely
"ok but first there are some rules that you need to follow, are you willing to obey them?"
"yes!" they both shouted
"First rule, don't tell anyone that I taught you this, only the two of you two can train to be a mage without exploding the other elves are still too weak," he said while looking at them
"2nd only use it if I am around you, do not try to even use your energy back at your houses. You might harm or even kill someone if you use it incorrectly. Are you willing to follow it?"
They both gulped and then replied
"yes pleased teach us" they replied together
"Remember, the two of you have 3 energies you can use. You Victoria have the energy to control lightning, nature and wind. You Karthala have the power to control fire, nature, and wind." Lawrence said with a smile
"wow I can control lightning, and summon trees" Victoria replied cheerfully
"fire, not bad I can use it to cook" Karthala replied with a pondering expression
Damn, the two are reacting differently, Victoria kinda reminded me of Freya and as for Karthala what f*ck does she mean by cook?
"let's start, come close and sit here beside me, let's begin your journey to become one of the greatest mages" Lawrence said with a smile
