Red dragon

The next morning everyone was woken up by loud sounds.

"what the hell is that" Lawrence asked himself out loud

"what's going on dear?" Freya who was sleeping beside him woke up and asked

"It must be some kind of a beast dear but who is it fighting I wonder. Come let's check it out it's near the human territory" Lawrence said with a worried expression

These damn f*ckers can't they give me a break, why the hell will they fight each other near the barrier can't they kill each other somewhere else

Lawrence and the other residents of his house started walking towards the barrier carrying their chosen weapons

Lawrence is carrying a sword in one of his hands and a whip with 10-inch metal daggers tied to them

Luckily I prepared this whip before sleeping last night. I only did it cause it looks kinda of cool but looks like this baby will be piercing some bodies later

"Chieftess, what is that?" Karina said with wide eyes

"A d-dragon!" Lawrence said with wide eyes

"What is a dragon chieftess? is it a special beast?" the younger elves asked

"No, it's one of the races living northwest of us," the chieftess said with a worried look

"But look, there's a net holding it down, those humans succeed at capturing it," Miraen said

"Chieftess we should help the dragon, those humans are hurting it," Victoria said with a sad face

Now that I think about it, it's a red dragon about 25 feet in length including its tails, that's no different than a winged crocodile with arms and legs, it's too small.

It has spikes all around its body though, that must be why the soldiers resulted in throwing a metal net.

And it's red isn't that a sign of that dragon having royal blood? I read that only red dragons have royal blood, and the last king of the dragons is a red dragon.

Should I help it? This group of humans wears a similar outfit to the previous group I fought. And if I save this thing I might be able to acquire supplies from the dragons such as weapons and some scales

An enemy of my enemy is my friend after all

"Chieftess, I shall go and help the dragon. Once the other elves arrived. Tell them to watch the battle and prepare themselves to do what I'm about to do. The same applies to you all. This is what warriors need to do so watch carefully" Lawrence said with a serious expression while looking at everyone living with him

"Be careful dear" "Brother please don't get hurt" "we shall watch you closely" "Good luck warrior Lawrence" "Come back safely" the elves living with him said

"I shall go out now, no matter what happened, do not go out," Lawrence said with a serious face

The elves nodded

Lawrence then started to walk towards the humans

The humans are currently pointing spears at the dragon with eyes full of rage

*****About an Hour ago********

At the human camp, 2 soldiers are talking to each other

"The Patriarch said we will attack at dawn," A man wearing leather armour said

"Yeah, once we break that barrier, let's grab some precious herbs without anyone noticing" His comrade replied

"shhh keep quiet, the others might hear us," the man said

"they said just one of those can help us live in luxury for the rest of our lives, those red echinas are so rare and helpful to mages so nobles pay a high price for it" his comrade said with a smile

"hey I think I'm seeing something, but I'm not sure because of this thick mist" the man beside him said

"I'm not seeing anything, once the sun rises, this mist will disperse let's check it then don't take unnecessary risk" his comrade said

"Humans, what are you doing inside this place and with all those weapons?" A red dragon said with a curious expression

"A d-dragon!" the man shouted in panic

"We are under attack by a dragon!" his comrade shouted while panicking

"Humans I am only asking you" the red dragon said with an annoyed face

"Help! It's coming closer" the man shouted

The soldier and his comrade only heard the rawr, rawr, rawrr of the red dragon and couldn't understand what it was saying

"Wake everyone up, prepare for battle!" the soldier at the camp who was sleeping shouted after waking up

"Humans! I am not here to fight!" the red dragon shouted

Raaawr!, Raaawr! , Raaawr! Is what the humans heard

After that the humans started to attack the red dragon by using arrows, ballistic, swords and spears, and it defended itself against the attacks and killed over 100 humans before being captured by a metal net.

***Present****

Lawrence is walking towards the dragon.

I'll use this mist to my advantage to get closer. Unlike the elves who are loved by nature and can see through the mist, humans can't do that

There is still about an hour till dawn, I need to do this fast and kill as many as I can before the mist disappears along with the sunrise

Should I bring this young red dragon inside the barrier? Can it even pass through it with me around?

Never mind, if it didn't pass through it would just die anyway I should at least try and benefit from this. I just hope this one is a royal dragon or all of this is for nothing

Lawrence walks towards the group of humans and uses his ability to see core strings, his eyes glowing golden

No mage huh, but there are around 30 who are wearing metal armour and use aura with just these numbers. And this is not even all of them

But since I'm using a metal dagger now, this metal armour won't do shit against my nature energy and these daggers

When Lawrence is about 120 meters away from the group he starts to run towards them and use his natural energy. He's glowing green

"h-hey look over there, I think I can see a green light"

The humans looked in that direction

"A mage!" the ones wearing metal armour shouted

"Prepare for battle!" Frederick one of the patriarch's most trusted men shouted

"Let's dance little sh*ts" Lawrence said with a wide smile
