1 (1) Arrival

Darkness.

There was only darkness as Richards consciousness drifted amongst the dark void.

He felt finally at peace, after what seemed like a life full of adventures, strife and struggle. His soul and his entire being slept for eternity. At least that's what was meant to happen.

Sometimes Richard would feel a ripple of energy pass through the void, it would remind him that he was 'alive'. It seemed like the ripples were getting more common but that could be untrue, there was no concept of time in this dark space.

Richard was slowly forgetting his memories. The time he spent as a son of a blacksmith before turning to piracy after his town had been sacked was being slowly erased. The more he forgot the lighter he felt.

Being disturbed by yet another ripple, he tried to open his eyes but he had no eyelids. Richard tried looking at his body but there was nothing there, just darkness.

Now being used to the weird ripples of energy, Richard finally sensed one of them coming towards him. He realised now the ripple was a massive wall of white light that pushed towards him at fast speed and it illuminated the surrounding void.

It could be said that Richard would be better off without seeing into the darkness. As the flash of white approached him, his 'eyes' noticed thousands of white energy spheres floating amongst the darkness.

Some circles of white energy were surrounded by massive clouds of purple tentacles. The tentacles themselves were attached to the orbs and seemed to absorb the energy from them. As a pulse of purple light travelled from the orb through the tentacle and into the monster.

Terrified Richard shifted his position and noticed the same purple cloud right beside him, having a tentacle attached to himself. He felt a wave of nausea hit him as his lifeforce was being sucked away by this predator. Richard saw the massive alien face peer through the cloud and it gave him a wicked grin, as if acknowledging him.

A long row of sharp teeth revealed itself as the flash of white pushed through and past Richard. It seemed to disrupt the monster as it screeched out but no sound travelled through the void.

The void itself was endless. Wall of light only illuminated a small amount of the space. Richard could barely see more of the floating spheres and the massive monsters on the edges of where light ended.

Richard felt like he was loosing more of his previous life memories. The previous peace he felt was just his soul being weakened by the absorption of his soul.

Another flash of white hit Richard and the monster. This time though the white energy was more condensed and focused on the cloud of tentacles.

The tentacle connecting to Richard snapped and broke off as the monster was flung into the emptiness of void. Then Richard felt warmth, as if being embraced by someone.

He glanced at the source of this warmth and Richard saw slender, glowing hands of a female hold his energy ball. Her pink lips moved, speaking to him but no sound was heard. She frowned, mentally facepalming before a portal opened beside her.

The clouds of tentacles sensing the energy coming from the portal, disconnected from floating energy spheres they latched onto and rushed towards the two. Richard saw her smirk, clearly she was proud of herself, before throwing Richard through the portal.

His vision started blurring, glancing back last thing Richard saw was the open mouth and a hundred of teeth flying towards him before the bright light took over.

''It's a boy!'' A female voice shouted as the bright light burned Richards eyes. Colours blended in and only vague shapes was what Richard saw.

"His name shall be Tasar." A domineering voice spoke.

Murmurs spread as several people spoke in a foreign language. Darkness took over the little baby once more.

Tasar woke up in the middle of the night, his little legs and arms frantically moving about.

''Oh my baby, did you have a nightmare? Don't worry mommy is here.'' The female woman walked into the room. Tasar, as that was his new name tried looking at her as his stomach grumbled.

Tasars mother, was a tall humanoid with great curves, she wears a white nightgown that sticks tightly to her body shape, highlighting her sensual charm. She has a long, tied ginger hair and green eyes, with a small pointy nose and unnaturally long ears.

''Someone is hungry!'' She smiled as she lifted the little boy and sat him on her lap. She then popped out her titty from the clothes and lifted Richard... err Tasar up. Conflicted between eating and being embarrassed with an adult soul locked inside a child's body, Tasar eventually gave in to hunger and latched onto the tit.

''Oh my you must have been starving!'' She laughed as another person soon walked into the room.

''How is he doing, Tisha.'' A tall man spoke, seriousness of this familiar voice reflected on his tired face.

''He is recovering quite well, Wirlin my love. The damage his soul suffered is slowly healing.'' Tisha said as her hand glowed green and touched Tasars chest. ''What the priestess said was true though. Someone or something tried consuming our sons soul.'' her voice became cold.

''I will find the one responsible. People have forgotten might of the Dunas house, it is time to remind them." Wirlin swiftly said as his eyes softened up. "This is a great gift from Goddess Ariamis! She has finally responded to our prayers.'' He placed his hand on her shoulder as she simply nodded at his words and the two observed their child.

Tasars father, Wirlin. The man was a tall muscular human with white long hair and blue eyes. He has a sword on his hip resting inside of a leather scabbard that has a emblem of a shield and tower engraved on it. He is currently wearing a long black coat, leather boots and black breeches.

As Tasar got his fill of food he felt his eyelids close and eventually fell asleep...

Time slowly passed. Tasar had a daily routine of waking up, eating, observing his surroundings and going to sleep. Eventually Tasar was taught how to read and write once he spoke his first words, surprising everyone. He had to play along, trying not be discovered as someone with parts of his memories from different life but Tasar still wanted to get acknowledgement as a smart person.

As he sat down in his fathers study, Tasar picked couple of books that seemed interesting and important at the same time. Knowledge is power!
