11 Falling

Aubrianne Ivanov POV

He swiftly adjusted to properly secure my hands above my head now with one hand while the other moved down to start his frenzied groping.

He gripped my neck, parted his lips, and his tongue darted out and licked my face.

He then groped my breast becoming hasty in his movements. He moaned, then went on about so long, he waited patiently for this, and I was not going to deprive him of what was his.

This man has some nerve.

I felt disgusted and screamed in my mind, 'like what in the f**king hell Aubri? Get your ass up, girl!'

Yes, you have wanted this. Yes, you have fantasized about it, feeling Ron inside of you and imagining what it would feel like. Yes, you wished you could have had your night with Ron, but not like this.

He was busy fiddling with his belt buckle, and I used the opportunity to look around, thinking of what to do, and recalled we were on the couch, so if I could just...

Not overthinking it, I pushed us over to land on the ground with all my might so I would be on top of him.

It worked. Ron lost his grip on my hands in the movement, which allowed me to swiftly brace myself, scramble to my feet, and run for the door shouting to the top of my voice, "somebody heellpppp!!"

Then I heard him roar, "you b!tch, don't you walk away from me," right before I felt something cold and hard hit me behind my head.

I heard something crack and was startled. I didn't go down right away. My movements slowed, and I became somewhat shaky in my steps.

Maybe it was the adrenaline, but I smelled the taint of crimson in the air and felt its warmth as it began to soak my scalp and trickle down my neck to my back.

Though the adrenaline is flowing, I am a bit jerky in my movements now, but I fight and struggle to keep moving, trying but failing to move one foot in front of the other. I swayed. That task seems impossible now as my feet felt heavy.

Nevertheless, I kept chanting in my mind saying over and over, I am not going to pass out.

I push myself shaking my head a little and rapidly blinking, almost as if trying to clear the blurriness in my vision. If I can only make it to the door...

I didn't...

"Her head...Any Idea....like that..."

Aubrianne's eyes were unfocused, fluttering open and closing a few times, and her body moved about restlessly; as she was being wheeled to an examination room. She kept going in and out of consciousness.

John, Kylynn, and Jada were with her, on either side of her.

Jada is in a state of pure anger for the scene she burst into and the man that caused it. And on top of that, she worries about the condition of Aubri's head injury.

However, she tries her utmost best to offer soothing and comforting words reassuring Aubrianne that she would be ok, clutching onto her hand.

Soon enough, Aubrianne was out of their sight, and they were told to wait in the waiting room for an update.

The gang made their way to the waiting area, where John immediately got on his phone, making calls and giving out instructions as Jada went to the vending machine and Kylynn secured seats.

They were setting up for the rest of the night.

I slowly tried opening my eyes and taking a peek at my surroundings. Beep, beep, beep, beep, the steady sound of, wait, what was that? I wonder.

I was in a hospital room, and I believe Jada was on the couch.

Though I was too drowsy, I couldn't concentrate on any one thing for long. My eyes were too heavy to keep open, and darkness took over once more.

I drifted away into oblivion...

I jerked upright. Where was I? I look around and listen to my surroundings. Here is so quiet I was sitting on the cold ground, which felt like concrete. And there was a small light in the distance. No matter how much I tried, I couldn't see anything else. This place was dark, too dark for my liking.

Getting up from my sitting position on the floor. I decided to walk toward the light slowly and cautiously. The closer I got, the brighter the light got, almost blinding me.

I raise a hand to hover over my eyes, squinting them so I can see better.

Suddenly the bright light started coming towards me at full speed. I stopped in my tracks, and soon enough, I was completely engulfed by the warm and comforting glow.

My surroundings changed to a picturesque scene pulled right out of a fairy tale. The red was redder here, and the green was greener. Though fairy tales still did not do this justice.

The colors really stood out here, bright and breathtakingly vibrant. It was a vast field of green and red flowers.

It ran as far as my eyes could see.

Where on earth was I? I whisper breathlessly. Completely taken by my view.

I felt warmth filling me, a wholeness, a contentment I had never felt before. It was nothing but joy. Pure joy, no stress or responsibilities, and no worries. No more living in a world where I am most lonely.

I was no longer in a world where I missed my mother heartbreakingly.

Here I feel like I can just be.

I looked around again and thought that I had some exploring to do. I did not care where I was. Excitement rose within me, and my curiosity peeked.

What would I find ahead?

I started my journey walking through the field, and it was enchanting. I soon started twirling, hopping, and skipping through the field of flowers.

The tips of my fingers on my outstretched hands brush the ends of some floors here and some leaves there.

I jug and twirl some more, and eventually, I break out in a run.

Enjoying this freeing feeling, I ran and ran. Energized, I chased after it and let it feed me. Never felt so free in my life.

Full-on running, I noticed a bit too late that I was approaching the edge. I no longer saw green and red flowers spread ahead of me.

I saw the blue sky and realized it was a cliff of some sort.

My heart immediately sank to my stomach as the realization slammed into me, and I tried to stop, but it was too little, too late.

To my sheer horror, the momentum propelled my body over the edge of, yes, it's a cliff, and I laid eyes on the greenest sea I had ever seen before, and I was heading straight for it.

I screamed and screamed as I fell and kept on falling. Though I did not hear my screams. The wind whooshed in my ear and soon clogged as I sped my way to the sea, not of my own accord.

Dread consumed me, and my body racked with sheer terror as I continued to fall. My face and body feel like they are peeling back, almost like I am being skinned as it is was continuously slapped and trampled by the wind as my body harshly falls against it. Soon enough I ...

I jerked awake before hitting the sea and noticed I was back home in my apartment. In my room, to be exact. When did I get here?

After a moment and my racing heart steadies, I realize the fall was a dream.

Oh, thank God that was a dream I clutched at my chest.

Wait, How did I get here, though? My question was cut short when I heard a noise from the kitchen. It sounded as if someone was washing dishes. There was the clattering of pots and pans.

The better question was, who the hell was in my house?
