Chapter 428: Connecting Amleth to Elven Kingdom part 22

It's a Titanic Boa. It's not as big as the False Hydra at Devil King's Castle, nor as big as the Giant Earthworm at Kor, but it's still impressive. Maybe because the Hydra has many heads, so it looks bigger, while the Giant Earthworm's diameter is bigger, so this Titanic Boa looks smaller, but it's still a snake monster, and it's fast as well as slippery like a snake. For a boa, it shouldn't be poisonous, at least that's what I would like to think, but a monster's saliva is still dangerous, so I should still protect everyone from it.

The Titanic Boa circles around us. For its size, it can easily eat us humans alive, but the giants have done a great job of forming a barricade. The Giants knew better than to anger it any further while it's still under control, and the Titanic Boa, though under control by unknown methods, be it monster tamer or incense, also knew by instinct not to engage a giant carelessly, hence the stalemate, but not for long.

"Berserker!" [Randy]

With his golden axe, Randy tried to slice through the Titanic Boa.

"What the hell?" [Randy]

"Just like the Chimera... No wonder I can sense multiple souls" [Diana].

"Disgusting" [Dana]

"To think I would see something like that again" [Kat]

"Does this mean they're working with the Empire?" [Asterion]

"I doubt it. Valdrid was able to accomplish something almost similar while opposing the Empire at the same time" [Sas].

"However, I think there are two organizations working together here" [Nar].

"Sir Nar Vars, you don't mean..." [Kara]

"This is just speculation. Look at the bodies of those attached to the Titanic Boa. Mostly demon races. Recently, we knew that the True Beastmen group had been abducting races outside of the Beastmen, especially demons. Now, with the elven race led by Alagst and this Tiger Beastman, it's safe to say that they're actually working together " [Nar].

That makes sense. The elves led by Alagst wanted my staff made from World Tree, while the True Beastmen group wanted the abundance of Mana Core to further strengthen their group, so they have something in common. At least for now.

"Dispel" [Diana]

"Dispel it already?" [Linda]

"I have. THE THING no longer lingers. But the one that controls the Titanic Boa is still there. I tried to override it, but the Dyrad prevented me from doing so." [Diana]

"So THE THING helped them as well... This is bad, but not surprising" [Jean].

The one attached to the Titanic Boa was still talking like it was alive. Kill us. Stop this madness. Set us free. Help me. Mother. Father. Words of suffering and regret, repeated incessantly, that can build up a curse that no one can stop.

"Fairy Queen Titania. Help me. Mirage magic: Sleep!" [Diana]

Just like the Chimera, I'm sure I can just put it to sleep. Although the resistance provided by the Dyrad prevents it from falling asleep, it begins to get drowsy, leaving an opening for a giant to hold it tightly, and taking advantage of it, Randy slices it once again, ending the Titanic Boa alive along with the demons attached to it.

Just as Randy and the Giant are about to regroup, a Mole Beastman emerges from underground, carrying bombs that are about to explode.

"Earth wall!" [Sas]

"Damn! Thanks Sas" [Randy]

"STOMP"

"It got away!"

"Everybody! Watch your feet!" [Dana]

"Diana! Use the earth sonar spell. Anyone else who can, do the same!" [Nar]

"Right! Earth Magic: Earth Sonar" [Diana].

A short and concise order from Nar, for which I do just that, along with the help of Earth Fairy Gaia. I can see several Mole Beastmen coming this way, and one of them is carrying something large. Without giving them the opening they wanted, I used earth spell to crush them, but they're mole beastman, so earth spell means little to them. They came out and started throwing bombs left and right, and we started setting up a barrier to withold the assault

Loud bombing, almost endless, with a barrage of arrows, probably from elves. I can smell oils with it. Sister Jean started to use a powerful wind spell to counter it, but they just use a heavier bomb. Not only that

"A succubus!? She's carrying something!"

"I'm sorry! I'm sorry!"

"Stop it! Please don't!" [Veronica]

"I'm sorry, they threatened me!"

A succubus, not from our group, came out of the forest with something strapped to her. As she ran towards us, she was shot with a fire arrow... She exploded into pieces as fire began to surround us. The smell of blood rains down. The piece of her heart still beating. Eyes... Ears... This feeling... This feeling of mine...
