' Sigh what am I doing wrong? '
Elden sat in a meditative position as he pondered why couldn't unlock mana zone.
When a person unlocks mana zone it allows them to manipulate the surrounding mana.The mage can gather together and utilise more magic than they would be able to normally.
For example:
Offensively: The mana can be added to spells to increase their size, number and range. It can be used to launch attacks in any direction and from any direction within the zone. Spells can be created all around a target, within the enemies own spell, or behind them to catch them by surprise.
Defensively: The mana can be used to sharpen mana detection and heighten reaction time. Mana skin can also be augmented as well as reinforcement magic spells.It can be used to predict enemy attacks and allows the user to move and stand in mid air.
' Okay calm down. Take deep breaths and calm your yourself. '
Taking some deep breaths Elden calmed down as he regained focus.
' Okay mana zone allows me to use the surrounding mana but nothing has worked so far.
I learned mana skin and perfected it. How was Yuno able to achieve this in the first place?
Sigh I need to take a step back. Alright let's try mana skin first. '
Elden closed his eyes as purple hue covered his body. The mana was then compressed around his skin with none of the mana leaking out.
' Hmm okay that worked perfectly and easy to implement. Let's try to sense the surrounding mana. '
Elden closed his eyes as he calmed his nerves. Repeated failures over this technique was a pain but he pushed that resentment down.
An hour passed as Elden sat there without moving.
Soon he started to move as his head tilted downwards. Light snores came from as he fell asleep.
Repeated failures over this technique and his stupidity of not sleeping and training all night for the last 3 days finally took affect.
His control over mana skin disappeared as his mana retracted back into his body as it relaxed.

The sun rose up as it's shining light fell upon Elden sleeping form. Hitting his eyes as he started to wake up.
Yawning Elden rubbed his eyes as he looked at the sunrise.
He smiled as the view was magnificent.
' This is diffently the best place to see the sunrise. Well I better go ba... '
Elden stopped as he felt the mana around him. After practicing his control he could easily tell when his mana detection improved.
' I can sense the mana around me. It's calm as the breeze that's flowing by me. Did it actually happen? '
Elden stood up as he closed his eyes. Once he did he could feel everything around him.
The mana right in front of Him, the mana behind him, the mana on his left and right, and the mana hitting skin.
Elden took a deep breath as he made a small room in his hand.
' Calm down. Don't get excited just yet. '
Elden looked at the mana around him and felt a similar connection to them like with his own mana.
He willed them over and mixed it with his room. It worked.
Elden stood still for a few minutes as he released his control over his room.
" Fuck yes!!! It finally worked!! "
Elden yelled as a smile was on his face.
20 days of trial and failure before it finally worked.
' Sigh this feels great. But when did this happen? The on my time was when I was asleep.
Was it because I tried to hard so when I slept and relaxed it just happened.
Tch.
Sigh if I only I could only how. That would be so useful.
Well whatever for now let's just experiment with mana zone. '
Elden had a giant grin on his face as he he started his experiment.

' Hmm who the fuck is up this early. ' Fana thought.
' That voice sounded familiar. '
* Insert realisation from Elden talking to the shout *
' Why the fuck is the captain up so early?! '
Fana immediatly woke up as reality slapped her in the face hard, knocking away all the sleepiness she had.
' Goddammit. It's still early morning. Sigh I can't go to sleep let's just go eat breakfast. '
Fana got up and got ready. She then left her room as she watched Mars and Ladros also woke up and walked out.
" Reality hit you in the face. " Fana asked.
" Yep. " Both of them replied.
" Breakfast. "
" Breakfast. "
They then walked to the hall to order some food. There they saw Karasuma reading a newspaper while drinking coffee.
" How was the morning wake up call? " He asked not looking away from the paper.
" Absolutely divine. " Fana said.
" 10/10 rating. " Ladros said.
Mara just gave a thumbs up before getting an omelette. Fana and Ladros ordered their food and started eating.
" So how much longer till he does one thing stupid? " Fana asked.
" 3, 2, 1... " Karasuma counted down.
* BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM*
The ground shook as everyone felt it. Luckily it didn't knock anything over so they just shrugged and resumed to eatting.
Karasuma, Fana, Mars and Ladros just stared at where the noise came from.
" We going? " Ladros asked.
" Yep. " Karasuma said.
They finished their meals as they left the base and rushed to Eldens location. When they arrive they see Elden holding his arms out up his side's in triumph while basking in the sunlight.
They looked in front of him and saw that most of the land had been flattened. By looks of things up all the objects were pushed out of the way.
" Damn I feel great. " Elden said stretching.
" Captain. "
Elden turned and looked at his sensei and students.
" You are a crazy bastard. " Mars, Fana and Ladros said.
" I know. "

Okay I don't know how someone can achieve mana zone. I have checked online and I couldn't find any requirements on how to learn it or how the mages that do learn it have learned it. Because the mc is someone who reincarnated and has watched the show he wouldn't know how someone can learn mana zone and can only go off of theories.
Which is why he just tried over and over again before learning the skill by accident. I don't know if this is a good way to learn mana zone so let me know in the comments.
