After a week's rest, Joz and his crew (along with his new members) departed from Tobar.
They noticed that the Navy was more and more active on West Blue, especially in their area. He had to hide their boat on the other side of the (uninhabited) island to avoid the massive appearance of the Navy on Tobar.
... MARINE POV .....
"COMMANDER LLANSON! COMMANDANT LLANSON!" cried a marine as he walked into Llanson's cabin
"Entrance!" Llanson replied in a robust and charismatic voice.
The marine came in and saw that Llanson was finishing some reports he had to deal with.
"Captain, the diamond crew, was on Tobar Island for one week and just left the island," the Navy announced with a stressed air.
"WHAT? How come we get the news now?"
"I don't know, commander."
Hearing this, Llanson tapped on his table while cursing in his head.
'How come we're always behind on the news?' Llanson wondered in his head.
"Where are they going?" Llanson asked grimly.
"Uh ... uh ... we don't know yet," said the marine in a trembling voice.
"Tell the men to set sail for Tobar and the surrounding area. We have to catch Joz before he's untraceable," Llanson announced as he stood up and left his cabin.

Joz's destination was to go to a kingdom that was a member of the world government to get a 'log pose' there so he could head into the Grand Line.
As you can know, the only means to navigate on the Grand line were the 'eternal pose' or the 'log pose,' which were purchasable either on the island closest to the entrance of the latter (Grand Line) or in one of the member kingdoms of the World Government.
Why?
Quite simply because the government had an intense concentration of its men in these areas and could therefore more easily trace a pirate, revolutionary, bandits, bounty hunter, etc ... while monitoring the kingdom in question.

The shishibukais are powered on the same level as the Navy or an Emperor (Clearly said in the manga). They are more controlled by the world government than the Navy. This power which is technically enemies to the Navy (pirates at the base), was an excellent way to restrict the Navy, becoming more and more powerful with each generation.

Initially, Joz wanted to stay on West Blue and gradually evolve discreetly. Still, he soon realized that a free electron like him would always attract the attention of the Navy if he didn't change the sea ( Grand Line).
If he (Joz) did not leave West Blue, the Navy would perhaps send vice admirals and alternate admirals after him, which could be fatal.
For this, Joz had decided to evolve in the 'Paradise' (1st part of Grand Line).
Especially since his crew was not famous apart from Daz, his other members were sorely lacking in physical strength and experience.
This is why Joz intended to hunt down the weakest devil fruit holders on the Grand Line until he reached a level equal to an Emperor Commander / Navy Admiral to strengthen his crew.
And even though West Blue was one of the strongest seas in the four seas, there were few users of devil fruit.

As the Navy headed for Tobar, Joz was reading the latest news from the daily newspaper.
"The fine blade Pierre pirate with a bounty of 95 million Berry is openly recruiting crew members on the Isle of Berr who are ready to leave for the Grand Line."
'Pierre the thin blade ... hmm. is not it the holder of the fruit of the edge? the devil fruit that will Daz have in the original work? ' Joz wondered as he read the newspaper.
Joz knew that this fruit had already been eaten because he couldn't see it in his system's devil fruit catalog.

After deciding on the new destination, Joz told his entire crew the news and the direction to be taken to reach it on time.
Berr was an island quite far from Tobar, even for the Diamond Rusher, undoubtedly the fastest ship (Thousand Sunny not yet created, and the Oro Jackson is no longer in use).
