The audience was surprised; how is it possible that a weak man could make a giant tiger fly?
The tiger's eyes were red: he was furious, his tail was moving in all directions.

With that roar, the tiger rushed forward again and jumped on Joz.
Joz took his time to build up the rest of his strength (he didn't have all his power). Joz gave it an uppercut in the jaw when the tiger was within range, which made it fly again.
Without his Devil Fruit, Joz couldn't have punched this tiger. His skin and fur were thick and challenging, but nothing like a diamond which was one of the most rigid materials in the world.
The tiger stood up and continued to attack Joz furiously. When in Joz, he kept his guard and continued to dodge the scratches and bites of the tiger; he counterattacked at times with powerful hooks or uppercuts.
This scene astonished the public, who were immediately cheerful; they shouted to encourage the tiger or Joz.
The arena host was glad to see that he had just acquired a new nugget. He was planning on extracting all the money Joz could bring him until he was no longer profitable.
