The shock wave had made Joz back two steps and Mark four steps back. So we could already see who had the advantage.
Joz was shocked that someone could take his diamond punch.
Mark was also shocked at the strength of Joz's fruit.
When Joz saw the transformation of Mark's fist, he immediately understood how he had been able to resist.
Mark had a fruit almost identical to Joz's except that instead of being diamond, it was iron.
Joz's crew was shocked to see this transformation.
"He has the same type of fruit as the captain."
"It seems to be made of iron."

David and the others were laughing and applauding Joz's victory. The contrast was visible between the two camps.
Daz's tense muscles relaxed, and so did the worries in Robin's heart.

Joz walked over to the mansion, and the members of the Bena family were scared. With each new step, Joz took, they backed up. Their rifles were shaking, the drops of sweat were more and more numerous.
Those soldiers who were feared were afraid of one man.
But can we blame them?
Joz was too strong: bullet-resistant + defeated Mark = INVINCIBLE (in their heads).
"I leave you two choices: death or flight," said Joz with murderous intent that made them tremble.
If Joz made this proposal, it was because he knew he couldn't destroy entirely the Bena family. However, he could still beat them by killing all the high-ranking officers.
