8 Chapter 8: Three Months Later

After Hokage's speech, Sato and the others returned to the classroom.

Then, just like in his previous life, Iruka organized several students to move the textbooks and began distributing them.

When Sato saw the textbooks, he felt a sense of disbelief.

"What is all this?"

Ninja history and ninja common sense, that makes sense.

But basic culture, physics, chemistry, nature, astronomy, and geography... Is this what six-year-olds learn in the first grade?

Sato realized that he had underestimated the intellectual level of this world. Due to the low average age, children in this world were incredibly precocious, not just emotionally and socially but also academically.

During the six-year course at the ninja school, trainee ninjas not only learned taijutsu, hand-to-hand combat, shuriken throwing, the Konoha Body Flicker Technique, and the Three Body Technique, but they also had to study various cultural subjects.

Although the culture class was not mandatory, it provided options beyond just becoming fighting ninjas. Despite the ninja world's backwardness, there were electrical appliances and computers, and people were aware that they lived on a round planet called Earth, surrounded by the universe, with the moon in the sky.

Sato, feeling speechless about the twisted technological and knowledge advancements of this world, sighed internally.

After receiving the textbooks, Iruka joined the class, and Sato listened attentively. He found that the material was not difficult at all and absorbed the knowledge effortlessly. It wasn't because Iruka was an exceptional teacher, but rather because Sato's understanding was far superior.

Before his time travel, comprehending the material quickly would have been challenging for Sato. However, after devouring Uchiha Shisui, he found that he could comprehend and learn rapidly, whether it was ninjutsu or other knowledge.

Realizing this, Sato felt relieved. He was confident that he would rank first in both academic and combat abilities during the first major exam. As an adult in a child's body, he couldn't afford to lose to a group of six-year-olds.

Now that he had become acquainted with Ino–Shika–Chō and Hinata, he could let his Shadow Clones attend classes while occasionally attending himself to build favor with Hinata and Ino.

A month later, Sato no longer attended school in person, instead sending his Shadow Clones instead. He focused on practicing ninjutsu in Takigakure, occasionally hunting and devouring wild animals in the forest to supplement his chakra.

While the energy obtained from these beasts was minuscule compared to Uchiha Shisui, it still provided more energy than his daily meals. Before becoming an official ninja and being able to devour enemies during missions, beasts were his main source of supplementation.

With the help of these supplements, Sato's chakra levels steadily increased, occasionally experiencing surges. Over time, the amount of chakra he possessed, even as a Jonin, became astounding.

The amount of chakra he had approached that of Elite Jonin, which was already remarkable for Sato at his current stage. It was sufficient to sustain the training of his Shadow Clones, allow him to practice ninjutsu separately, and still have spare capacity for other tasks.

During this month, the Ninja School taught Sato the Konoha Three-Body Technique and how to use invisibility. However, actual combat training had not yet begun. It seemed that due to the young age of the students, the school prioritized avoiding internal injuries that could hinder their physical development.

Finally, three months after entering the school, Sato and his classmates had a new course—shuriken throwing. This course was a test of talent, requiring both keen eyesight and dexterity. It was also the stage where Uchiha Sasuke first showed off his skills.

In this life, Uchiha Sasuke garnered fewer fans compared to the original timeline because Sato was present. With his awakened Sharingan and exceptional insight abilities, Sato effortlessly hit all the targets in his first throw, just as Uchiha Sasuke did. Moreover, as he matured, Sato's appearance would rival Senju Tobirama and Kakashi.

Unlike Uchiha Sasuke, Sato had a gentle personality, not as arrogant or cold as him in the future. Consequently, he became more popular in class.

Due to Sato's presence, Ino did not fall in love with Sasuke, and Sakura did not break up with him either. Sakura still fell in love with Sasuke, and Naruto gradually developed feelings for her.

These were the new dynamics of the Seventh Class.

Sato didn't pay much attention to these matters.

Every week, he would attend school in person to strengthen his bond with Hinata and Ino. Three months had passed, and Hinata had finally integrated into their small circle, no longer remaining silent. However, she still struggled to maintain eye contact for more than a few seconds and spoke in a barely audible voice.

Sato understood that Hinata's lack of confidence stemmed from her upbringing under high pressure. Only when her younger sister, Hyuga Hanabi, grew up and absorbed the family's expectations, would Hinata finally experience some relief. For now, she remained a young girl burdened by immense pressure and lacked self-assurance.
