"To be completely honest, Alex, I loved what happened yesterday."

"I'm sorry, what? You... loved what happened?" Alex asked with a baffled expression.

"That's right." Tom replied, a smile starting to appear on his face. "I always hated those guys and they got what they deserved as far as I'm concerned. As for the torturous method you used... while it may have been disturbing at first since I wasn't prepared for it, I quickly overcame that and realized it was really just a thrilling experience."

Seeing Tom's massive smile made Alex feel a bit strange, he was expecting Tom to end the friendship or at least start an argument, but having him praise everything with an excited smile was not something he had considered as a possibility.
