'Who am I supposed to go to?' Many people would find it difficult to answer a question such as this in a situation where their family members were all in danger simultaneously but Alex simply looked at the situation logically.

'Mom and Dad are both at work right now, the hospital security should make it difficult for anyone to get to her and dad works at the police station so he should be fine for a while.' He pulled out his phone and checked the time. 'Okay, Benny and Sarah will be getting out of school in twenty minutes, if I can get to them before they leave then I might be able to prevent anything from happening.'

Alex started heading towards his sibling's school, first at a slow limping speed and eventually getting into a run once the pain in his side went numb. 'I probably didn't even need to consider who to got to, regardless of how much danger they were in, Mom and Dad would've wanted me to save the twins instead of them...'
