Chapter 99: Devil World Parade

Haru and Ali enjoyed the five worlds in seven days for the last time before bringing in the other people from the original world.

They've eaten all the good foods in Castellia Fort's golden table until they were satisfied and relished the jewels and chocolates in the rooms until they were sick of it.

Sometimes, they were together and sometimes, they're at their different pleasures.

Sometimes, the devil would take his original and other form, especially when alone, but oftentimes, it's Ali's body that was being used.

Haru often saw the figurative crack in Ali's body, signifying that the body is slowly crumbling and is becoming too much for the flesh to handle.

They went round and round the roller coaster until their vision was spinning at the Tale Park World and watched all the movies they wanted and ate all the popcorns there is. Ali was also replenishing and gathering up his powers to add medical hubs in each of the world, which Alicia has frequently pointed out.

It's true that they couldn't address the hazards immediately because the worlds were lacking in sustenance for healthcare despite being overwhelming at the pleasures and funs it provides.

They rested as much as they could in the Glowglass Woodland as well.

"I guess this is where we should put the most wounded ones, right?" Haru pondered while both of them were in the hot springs. "The injured ones and broken ones. Those humans who might be beyond repair should enjoy the benefits here."

"That's true," Ali agreed. "I guess we should also consider their desires and where to put them. That's a lot of work to be done, huh."

"That's right, so these seven days might be the last ones we could have in resting and enjoying."

"Haru, what do you say we… reserve the Light World for ourselves?"

"Hmm? You mean we let the people occupy all the four worlds except that last one?"

Ali nodded, "What do you think? I'd like that, at least."

"Well, if that's really what you want, I guess we could do it. But why do you want to do that?"

"You know, I might not be able to see you again if the people are too crowded in the worlds. At least, I know where to wait for you, since that's the only place we could be alone and we could rest in."

"Ali… in a few years, actually, maybe it's just months or days, I'm not even sure. But I'll have to leave as well and die to become your vessel. It's possible that I have to die after your body's crumbled. And—"

Haru couldn't finish his explanation when he saw Ali tearing up, waiting to sob and wail at what he was saying.

He stayed silent and looked away, wanting to just avoid the topic until they get there.

They played at the Grand Blisscade to their heart's content and got lost at its beautiful and elegant labyrinth.

The day came when the seven days were finally over and they had to prepare for everything.

It was such a tedious work deciding who they want to include in what world and who they have to leave behind.

Of course, they already knew about Camille, Alicia, and Mr. Wang, so their names were automatically crossed out.

With the billions of people living in the original world where they have to get and the problem with the consent of bringing them over, Haru and Ali couldn't even have a wink of sleep for the past few weeks.

They rested only until their bodies give in and pushed themselves over the limit until everything was over.

When the people had crowded each worlds, Haru and Ali sealed off all portals.

Those who are in Castellia Fort are only to stay in Castellia Fort, those who are in Tale Park World only gets to stay there, and so on.

When everything was over and Ali was joining in the crowd somewhere at the four worlds, Haru was once left alone. And it was then that Shiho, the witch, came to visit him once more in the Light World.

Shiho seemed amazed with how the world looked like and it felt like it was her first time going out somewhere beyond her dark tent.

"You weren't gonna kidnap me to the black room and erase my memories anymore?" Haru asked rhetorically.

Shiho chuckled, "Oh, come on! Stop holding a grudge! I actually helped you, didn't I?!"

Haru stared at her for a while, then scratched his head, "Well, I can't deny that, so I'll have to agree on you with that."

"See?"

"So what are you here for?"

"Let me stay here!"

"No! Why would we do that?"

"Why not? Didn't you say that I helped you?"

Haru thought about it and his initial response was because she looked eerie and much like the devil's acquaintance.

"Why do you want to stay here?"

"Because the devil is here! Didn't you figure that out? The reason why I kept following you was because I knew you were supposed the devil's vessel, so you'd eventually meet with them! My powers are derived from the devil, so when the time comes, I can help you to truly commit suicide, Haru."

She showed the sparkly knife from before, the one that was pretty and filled with gems.

It was as shiny and bright as he last saw it and it still mesmerizes him.

In the end, Haru agreed with Shiho's terms and the devil let her stay as well.

It was all for the sake of when the time comes.
