1 Chapter 1: Plan to Eliminate Salem? Judgement of an Empress
Hi guys, Rosesaiyan2 here again! Back with a new story. So.. this idea had been floating around in the back of my brain for awhile. I kept putting it off, but I figured why not make it into a story? There will be elements of Saint seiya and fairy tail in this story but I don't believe any of the characters from either series will appear in this story.
The exception to this rule would be possibly the Gold Saints from the Saint Seiya Omega universe, but I'm not entirely sure about that just yet. There are demons in this story, but the higher ranking ones won't be appearing until a bit later in the story. So if you recognize a spin off of a signature attack from one of the Saint seiya characters, know that I'm taking some inspiration from Saint seiya.
The portion of Saint Seiya I'll be using is from the Saint Seiya Omega universe, and from Fairy tail... around the Tartaros arc. That's just for reference. Like my other stories, this one is oc heavy. There will be alot of oc's in this story, just as a forewarning.
P.S.- I don't own Saint Seiya, Fairy Tail, or Rwby and the characters. The aforementioned series belong to their respective creators. I only own the oc's who appear in this story.
Chapter 1: Plan to Eliminate Salem?; Judgement of an Empress
To the west of Vale and across the ocean, there exits a series of island nations. What this cluster of nations is called is referred to as the Republic of Guerrin. It is in this small country where war abounds that our story begins.
On the island of Kratos, there lies the city of Shura. A man with dark tresses, gold eyes, and darkened skin was seen kneeling towards someone. He wore rather bizarre armor almost like a knight's, but was decorated with imagery of a Black Dragon.
This was Derek Dragonblade, a demon hunter and the commanding officer of the Republic's army. Next to him was a tanned skinned woman with crimson red hair and Amber eyes. She was donned in scarlet armor that had the imagery of a Red dragon woven into it.
The woman was Katsura Dragonblade, Derek's wife. In front of them stood a man with long cerulean blue hair and a beard, covered in Emerald green armor.
This man was giving their report to a young woman in deep crimson red and black armor. She sat on a throne deep in thought as the three in front of her gave her a report of the ongoing conflict with the grim recently.
This young woman was in fact, Emeryll Valharen II, the 31st Empress of Valren. Valren was the largest of The Guerrin Republic's territories. It was the most well equipped to take on a threat like Salem and the Grimm. In terms of military might, it rivaled Atlas. But in sheer size alone, Valren was much larger of a country in terms of citizenry than Atlas.
Though Emeryll was the Empress, she also served as the country's priestess. She had blonde hair with black highlights in them, slightly tanned skin, and Green colored pupils.

A/N: This is the theme for whenever Empress Emeryll appears in this story.
Emeryll rose from her throne, taking her staff as she stood to her feet. She looked to her three comrades before speaking.
"Please, rise to your feet.," Emeryll requested.
The three before her, stood to their feet. They faced her as she spoke.
"Black Dragon Lord, Crimson Maiden, I have a task for you two.," Emeryll said.
The two saluted to her.
"Of course, Empress.," Derek said.
" What is it we can do for you, milady?," Katsura asked.
" I need you two to find a way of cutting off the demons movement. While they are not the problem themselves right now... it is... their ally that is constantly getting in our way.," Emeryll said.
The other man spoke up, adding his own opinion to the conversation. The other man was Reynar Tokyoheim, an old friend of Derek's and a fellow devil/demon hunter. He wore armor similar to Derek, apart from the color of it being Emerald green and looking a little bit like samurai armor.
"Our enemy is Salem then, Empress?," Reynar asked.
Emeryll nodded.
"Yes. Salem has... constantly impeded us, and would prove to be a threat to anyone... albeit a minor one to us. No longer, that is where the three of you come in.," Emeryll said.
"Um.. us three, milady?," Derek asked confused.
"Yes. Reynar will be joining you in this task. Salem will need to be dealt with, immediately if we are to be ready for the demons. But I can only spare but one soldier, and it is someone you all know well... especially you Reynar.," The Empress replied.
They were confused by this until a woman with black long black hair and red eyes walked into the room and stood in front of them. This woman had white armor, with a tail and horns that bent down towards her neck briefly before going straight to frame her face. They all recognized the woman who came forth, this was Reynar's wife, Yin Lang.
Emeryll looked towards them with a smile.
"I take it this will suffice, Reynar?," Emeryll asked.
Reynar saluted to the Empress and nodded.
"Yes of course, milady!," Reynar said smiling.
Yin Lang smiled back before walking over and embracing her husband.
"There... is one more reason to send you. Once you four get to Vale, my elder sister will instruct you on what you need to do. She's... abit exasperating but she means well I assure you.," Emeryll said.
"If I may ask.. what is the name of your sister, your excellency?," Katsura asked.
A knight who guarded the Empress went to speak before being waved off by Emeryll.
"You may be a guest but-," Siegfried started before Emeryll cut him off.
"It's quite alright, Siegfried. I genuinely trust these 4. They have been my mentors and, often times, advisors since I ascended to the position of this country's 31st Empress. I trust their judgment.," Emeryll said.
The knight known as Siegfried relented and stood back at attention.
"As you wish, Empress.," He said.
"As to the answer to your question, Crimson Maiden... her name is Glynda. And although I say elder sister, she is really my cousin. If she asks who sent you, just give her my name and she'll recognize your presence in Vale as authentic.," Emeryll said.
"Thank you, Your excellency.," Katsura replied.
"We will depart at our earliest convenience, milady.," Reynar said.
Emeryll nodded as she sat back down on to her throne.
"One last thing before you all go.... to disguise your intent, I'm having you all sent to Beacon Academy as instructors (looks at Derek and Katura) or faculty (Looks at Reynar and Yin Lang). This is so neither Atlas, nor Salem will catch onto our moves. Your presence in Vale will be our message to Salem of our intentions!,"Emeryll added.
The 4 nodded as they exited the throne room of the palace.

Once they left, Emeryll looked to Siegfried. The Knight Commander meeting her gaze.
"Siegfried.," She started.
"Yes, Empress?," Siegfried asked.
"Open up a direct line to the headmaster of Beacon Academy. I will need to inform him of his new guests arrival. And also... open up a line to Sanctuary, they'll want to be informed of their allies movement.," Emeryll said.
Siegfried immediately acted as he brought forth 2 pedestals. The bearded man unsheathed his sword before plunging it into the stand of the first pedestal. This channeled energy into it and a screen appeared in front of her.
As if he was expecting a call, the gray haired man turned and saw the screen in his office. He turned towards the screen, seeing his rather unexpected visitor.
"My, my.. to what do I owe this unexpected honor, Empress Emeryll?," Ozpin asked.
Emeryll smirked at this.
"Straight to the point, I see. Seems as though you're still the same as ever, teacher.," Emeryll replied sighing slightly amused.
Ozpin sipped his cup of coffee before speaking again.
"I take it you are calling for a reason, dear Empress?," Ozpin respectfully asked.
"You always did catch on to things very quickly, Ozpin. Yes, there is a reason I called you.," Emeryll said.
Ozpin listened.
"And that reason is?," He asked.
"I believe your school should be receiving the answer to rid yourself of Salem within the next few days.,"The Empress said.
Ozpin's eyes widened. Was that really true? Was there finally a way of defeating her for good? Could this be the time that Salem was finally defeated for good?
"I don't mean to sound rude, Empress but... are you certain you have a way of defeating her?," Ozpin asked.
Emeryll smiled before speaking.
"I understand your skepticism Ozpin, I really do. Nothing that's been tried against her has worked so far... but what if I told you, that there is a way to kill Salem?," Emeryll replied.
Ozpin's eyes widened in surprise at the words of the Empress. Emeryll took this as a sign to continue her explanation.
"Although she's more than a threat to normal folk... She's never had to deal with those specialized in slaying a demons, or any other number of underworld apparitions. That is precisely what the individuals I'm sending to vale specialize in. And.... they are.. all faunus in a sense. They are what you consider beyond human at this point.," Emeryll said.
"I... see. They will be of help against her and the Grimm I assume?," Ozpin asked.
"Of course. And just between us, I have the distinct feeling that they'll be sending their children to Beacon in the very near future. I believe they'll be at Beacon in some capacity, just... maybe not as instructors. You can tell your other allies this as well. Let them know that the Valren Empire will be announcing its intention to crush Salem and her cohorts.," Emeryll said.
Ozpin nodded.
"Before you say, I know Atlas may not be pleased with this. So be sure a certain Atlas General keeps his mouth shut concerning this, Atlas sees Valren as passive threat towards them. We'd rather not have 2 large nations coming to blows and near war when there's a bigger threat to worry about.," Emeryll told him.
Ozpin nodded in understanding.
"Of course. Will that be all, your grace?," Ozpin asked.
Emeryll thought for a moment, and then added one last thought.
"There is.. one more item of discussion. Be sure my sister hears of this, she'll know to be prepared. I imagine she and... my former friend will be there.," Emeryll added.
Ozpin raised an eyebrow at this in confusion.
"Your... former friend?," Ozpin asked.
"Nothing to worry about, Ozpin. Just a hunch and nothing more. Be sure to tell my sister, Glynda.," Emeryll said.
Ozpin nodded.
"I will be sure to do so. Thank you, Empress Emeryll.," Ozpin said.
"I bid you adieu, professor.," Emeryll replied.
"Until we meet again, dear Empress.," Ozpin said as the screen then fades from his office.
Siegfried then looks to the black and scarlet haired Empress. Emeryll nods and he proceeds to open a line to Sanctuary.
With Derek and Katsura
Both couples headed off towards Vale, along with their children. The Dragonblade family had 3 children, Maxwell, Mist, and Kouga. The last of which they had adopted, due to circumstances surrounding the death of his parents.
Reynar and Yin Lang had 2 children as well. Both inherited the dark skin from their father, but the horns and tail from their mother. Their children's names were Honoo and Shoryu. They were now all aboard a bullhead en route to Vale.
Derek and Katsura turned to their kids.
"Mother, Father? Where are we going?," Kouga asked.
Katsura smiled at her youngest as she and Derek prepared to explain.
"I'm glad you asked, Kou. Your father and I will tell you.," Katsura said.
They'd all taken to calling him that particular nickname, since he was brought into their family at a very young age. Katsura had unfortunately had a miscarriage a year after giving birth to their eldest son, Maxwell or "Max" as he preferred to by called. Because of this, there was a hole in her heart from the baby boy she had lost.
A a year after that, was when Mist was born. It was in the year following the birth of Mist, they'd come across Kouga who was left on his own after his parents were tragically murdered. Perhaps out of grief for her lost baby boy, or perhaps it was out of genuine concern for the small child, Derek and Katsura had decided to adopt this lonely boy. That was was 17 years ago now.
"This is something that... I believe all of you should know, this includes you two. Honoo, Shoryu.," Derek said.
"The Empress has given us the task of helping her out with an obstacle in her way, but we can't do anything so boldly. Otherwise, we risk our plans being intercepted by the enemy.," Katsura explained.
"All five of you have had wonderful training, however...," Reynar said as Yin Lang finished his thought.
"We feel like you need some more experience. Perhaps being around a different style of fighting will help you. Also... I believe making some friends around your own ages will help you immensely.," Yin Lang added.
Derek nodded in agreement.
"Those are ties that you can remember for a lifetime. Often times, friendships will make you stronger and draw forth power within yourselves that you never would have had otherwise.," Derek said.
The teens nodded. They saw where their parents were going with this, but what were they supposed to do about it?
The answer was provided when Katsura spoke again.
"I'm sure the Empress has thought of this already, but I feel like the 5 of you going to Beacon would be our best option of preparing you for the future.," Katsura said.
"Um.. Beacon? What is that, Mom?," Honoo asked.
Yin Lang smiled at her daughter as she explained.
"Beacon or Beacon Academy is school known throughout Remant as the top military school for training Huntsman and Huntresses. It's a school for training warriors... in the typical sense anyway.," Yin Lang said.
The 5 teens nodded as they understood what needed to be done.
The Bullhead landed in Vale as the two families took a look around.
"So.. this is Vale?," Katsura asked.
"Apparently. This... won't be easy to hide who we are., " Derek said.
They had arrived in Vale, now they would just have to put the Empress's Plan into motion. The gears of Valren's declaration were now being put into motion, with no one the wiser for it.
Salem would be stopped, no matter what. Even if it turned a large military power like Atlas against them, they didn't care. Point was Valren was going to do whatever it took to take out the Grimm's leader. The quest to take out the evil woman had now begun.

Hey guys hopefully you enjoyed this 1st chapter of the new crossover. If you couldn't tell based on the description of Yin Lang, yes she's a faunus. Also, I thought Glynda having a cousin in this story my create an interesting dynamic that hasn't been explored yet. As you can tell, unlike in the cannon version of the RWBY story, Salem isn't immortal in this story.. she can be killed!
It's just extremely difficult for normal characters to kill a being like Salem in this story. But don't worry I still won't make it easy for those in this story to defeat and kill her. In every rwby fanfic I've read General Ironwood ultimately ends up becoming a jerk or he's just a jerkface from the beginning. He's a good character, but he becomes corrupted by his own decisions. This version of General Ironwood, won't be that way. I plan on him not being a jerk. He may butt heads with the ideals of some characters in this story, but he won't be a total jerk.
