"Would you like to start the weapon tutorial?."

"If completed would result in a basic mystery box reward."

"If failed will result in ????."

"Yes/No"

Immediately pressing yes on the system panel I was teleported to a room full of white shortly blinding me for a couple seconds until my eyes adjusted.

Hearing a noise like a notification I quickly look at the system to see what's going on only seeing the system saying.

Pressing yes, the void quickly lit up into blue light that slowly became dust and flew away and turned into a city. As I looked around I quickly assessed my situation I noticed something.

The city is devoid of life and there are vehicles strewn about, another thing is my clothes have changed I now had a red trench coat, long, tan-colored jeans, black fingerless gloves, and military-style boots. the red trench coat has zippers on the sleeves and a buckle around the waist, and two brown, and leather holsters on the back to carry Ebony & Ivory.

As I was looking at these clothed I immediately recognized them as Dante's from Devil May Cry 3. I quickly went to the closest reflect able surface to see my face, all I saw was a warped version of my face on the car window and 2 red eyes behind me in the shadow of an alley.

I quickly turned around and tried to pull out [Ebony and Ivory] and get ready to aim and to shoot at it. The demon quickly speed towards me slicing my head of and killing me.

As soon that happened my head flew up into the air and I saw my body fall to the ground feeling nothing but coldness as I slowly died and everything went black. When everything turn black the 2 system notification popped up saying

You Have Died

Would you like to restart the training?

Yes/No

Looking around I noticed everything was normal again my head was attached to my body and could move perfectly fine. Realizing that my death just happened and everything including my death was just a simulation scared me because of the realities of just the tutorial.

I quickly calmed myself down and restarted the training again getting ready to kill the demon. As everything went dark again I appeared in the city readying myself I quickly got [Ebony and Ivory] and readied myself to fire at the demon.

A sudden notification from the system then happened.

After dying and restarting multiple times from the horde of [7 hells] those mummy looking dried up raisins, I learned some stuff from looking at the mission info again I assessed that I need to do 3 things to pass this mission. One know the area around here. Two know the enemy. Three know your own skill. As I looked around the area I slowly pieced the city around me because my other restarts getting to know it, but suddenly I heard sound of multiple enemy's coming through an alley near him he quickly grasped [Ebony and Ivory].

Clutching Ebony and Ivory tightly as he faced the horde of 7 Hells. His heart pounded in his chest, but he refused to let fear overcome him and [Gamers Mind] started to calm him down and Determination fueled his every move.

As the demons advanced, their grotesque forms looming over him, Damian took a deep breath to steady his nerves. He raised his pistols, hands shaking slightly, and pulled the triggers. The shots echoed through the air, but his aim faltered, and several bullets missed their mark.

The demons, sensing Damian's vulnerability, lunged forward with vicious snarls. Damian tried doge and weave but got deep cuts in the process and sometimes barely, and narrowly evading their razor-sharp scythes. His movements were unrefined, lacking the grace and agility of a seasoned fighter.

Despite his lack of experience, Damian refused to back down and die like the other multiple times because he learned from the other loops and he learned some of the patterns of the [7 hells]. He fired [Ebony and Ivory] once again, this time with more focus. Some shots found their targets, causing the demons to recoil in pain, but many others went wide or merely grazed their intended victims.

The demons closed in, overwhelming Damian with their sheer numbers. Desperation began to take hold as he struggled to keep them at bay but [Gamers Mind] kicked in calming him down enough for him to think of running and gunning. quickly he put hit thought into action so he started to run and shoot behind him but only hitting them a couple of times, having most of the bullets go astray.

ultimately as he was running and trying to gun the demons down. he fell and One demon lunged at Damian, its scythe claws swiping through the air. In a split-second decision, he managed to roll out of harm's way , barely avoiding the attack because of the loops experience. But the demon quickly recovered, closing in for another strike.

Damian quickly unloaded a barrage of bullets on the demon and unknowingly used [Demon energy] only feeling a slight feeling of difference. He shrugged the feeling and kept firing bullets until the demon was slowly withering away and turned into dust.

Suddenly hearing a system notification. He opens the system while running from the 6 other demons behind him to see that the skill [Gun Mastery] has ranked up. Now allowing him to have more precise shots and stronger shots also a skill called [Demonic shot] was created quickly looking at the skill and continuing my run,

As Damian was running away and looking at the system one of the demons got in front of him trying to slash him. This caused him to roll into an alleyway.

As Damian rolled into the alley way he quickly got up and started running only to notice.

Damian found himself trapped in a dead-end alleyway, a perfect ambush spot for the relentless demons. Sweat trickled down his forehead as he assessed the dire situation. Though he was a "normal" he had Sparda blood in his veins which meant I had was tougher than normal people, thinking about that I finally notice that the wounds I got are healed and only just now remembering that Dante had a healing factor. I tightened my grip on Ebony and Ivory, and readied myself eyes full of determination.

The demons closed in, their menacing growls echoing off the alley walls. Damian took a deep breath, reminding himself of his purpose. He couldn't afford to be overwhelmed; he needed to find a way to turn the tables. Just then he thought of the skill he just got and how it can help but needed another advantage's so the demons could not get close enough to stop him from shooting.

As the first demon lunged at him, Damian instinctively sidestepped, narrowly avoiding its wicked scythe. He swung his guns around, firing a series of shots at the demon's vulnerable flank and using his new skill instinctively. The bullets struck true, eliciting a pained howl from the creature and the skill [Demonic Shot] dealing the final damage making the demon quickly turn to dust and fall to the ground.

However, Damian's limited experience showed as the other demons quickly converged on him without him noticing. He desperately dodged and weaved, but his movements lacked finesse and were hindered by the confined space getting deep cuts everywhere feeling the pain was terrible in the novels and fanfiction never did it an injustice if I had the time to scream I would. But their relentless assault made me not have enough time to even do anything but dodge and think because of that my stamina dropped fast and the fight began to take its toll, and Damian could feel his confidence waver and cuts were getting worse and more bloody and very slowly healing.

But within the chaos, a spark of ingenuity ignited within Damian's mind. He quickly surveyed his surroundings, searching for a potential advantage. Spotting a stack of high crates nearby leading to the stairs in the alleyway that goes up the building, he made a split-second decision.

And with burst of energy, Damian sprinted towards the crates, using them as makeshift platforms. He leaped and climbed, scaling the precarious stack with determination finally jumping onto the steel staircase and immediately shooting the demons. From his elevated vantage point, he gained a momentary advantage over the demons.

Taking advantage of this height advantage, Damian unleashed a flurry of [Demonic Shot's] bullets from Ebony and Ivory, each shot finding its mark with growing accuracy. The demons howled in pain as their bodies were peppered with projectiles some slowly withering away and falling to the ground into dust.

But some of the demons were undeterred and, regrouped and jumped and lunged at Damian, attempting to knock him off his perch. Damian fought back, unleashing untrained kicks and punches as he balanced precariously on the steel stairs feeling the movement of the steel stairwell. His attacks lacked finesse but were fueled by sheer determination and willpower and whatever stamina or energy he had left.

The battle raged on, each moment testing Damian's resolve and his fledgling skills. The alleyway was a maelstrom of chaos, bullets, and desperation. Damian fought with every ounce of strength he possessed, never backing down despite the odds stacked against him because he never wanted to feel the void of death like that again from his multiple repeats and from his first day in this world of hero's and monsters.

Though his movements were far from fluid, Damian's unwavering spirit began to turn the tide. His shots grew more accurate, his evasive maneuvers more calculated. With every demon that fell, he gained confidence and momentum. Eventually he got knocked down the steel stairs falling on the ground hard but quickly got up and started to fight in close quarters slowly getting better and dodging and shooting the few remaining demons left.

In a final surge of determination, Damian unleashed a barrage of mixed demonic and normal bullets and well-placed strikes. The remaining demons crumbled and turned to dust under the onslaught, their roars fading into silence.

Breathing heavily, Damian surveyed the alleyway, his heart pounding with both exhaustion and triumph. As he finally finished this stupid training test. The system notification sounding off in the back of his head while he laid down on his back with cuts everywhere bleeding out on the ground and just breathing in silence of the city slowly healing.
