Remembering that the little broken piece on the mask was in Shea's possession I teleport to the palace. I scan for Shea's location and finding her in the training field I head over with a quick teleport.

"Hey Shea." she opens her eyes and seeing me nods.

"Hi, Nova." I pull out the mask and wave it around, she looks at it curiously before seeming to recognize it. "is that Beelzebub artifact?" I nod and slip it on.

"Yea I got it bonded now so it's Nova's artifact now." she approaches and rubs her hand over the broken piece and seems to ponder for a moment.

"So a Beelzebub family member won't be able to use it anymore?"

"Not unless there like Catherine with the cloak then no they won't be able to use it." she nods and grabs my hand and pulls me to her residence.

"Follow me for a moment." I pick up my pace to not be dragged behind and adjust my hand to hold hers back. she looks down but doesn't comment and we walk into a building and out the backdoor of it. there is a wide pool that seems to be heated and she lets go of my hand and motions for me to wait. "stay there for a second please." she lets out her wings and floats over the water's surface till she is about halfway through the pool and drops. instead of hitting water she instead disappeared, this is her secret room where she has the mask fragment stored. she also has a wind chime in there that functions as a diary and records sound to be played back, it contains her crying after her dad killed her friends to make her a better lord.

Soon she reapers and an object fly's from her hand and slams into the mask on my face, when it connects I feel the mask shift itself to mend itself together. I reach up and rub the broken piece and pull the mask off to look at it.

"Guess it's complete now, wonder how they damaged it in the first place." I store away the mask/

"I don't know, I think it might have been damaged because of the fallen angel sword, and they're of equal quality so it was able to." I see, that might just be the case.

"Want to learn how to teleport? we can also try out some different ideas with demonic energy if you want. I saw you were working on your territory and I can show you how mine works and see if that helps you improve yours." she quickly nods and I teleport us out of the estate so we can let loose and not worry about damaging anything.

"You got the hang of it, try going a longer distance like your bedroom and then back." Shea summons her magic circle and it teleports her away, within a minute she appears back and looks excited.

"That is super convenient, I can use that for a lot of different things to speed up my daily life. that and obviously long distance travel."

"Lets try out some different basic magic and then see what you can come up with on your own over time from it. sky is the limit since as you know its based of imagination, its just not as simple as imaging the whole palace turning gold so it turns gold kind of imagination." she nods and we begin going over different spells.

"Alright that should be enough for today, just think about what you want to get as a end result and focus on one thing till you achieved it. it would be pointless to get lost trying to make thirteen different magics only to waste a lot of time on it." I teleported us back to the palace as we end todays lesson slash training. she was focused on trying to integrate her new light power into different applications like making a large spread attack that doesn't consume a lot of power as just spamming spears would.

"Alright Nova, thanks for going ahead and teaching me teleporting and helping me come up with some ideas." we separate ways and I head back home to wrap the day up with giving Athena her sword and the resting because tomorrow I plan to head out to silent night wetland and finding the entrance to Paglio's treasury. Delia should also be headed there since the interval where the traps are weakened is soon according to her.

Arriving home I look for Athena and find her with Freya as Athena seems to be showing Freya how to make pizza. walking up behind Athena I kiss her cheek and pull out the sword and hold it Infront of her to see it.

"What is this?" she grabs a towel to get the flour off her hands and takes the sword from me.

"I got ahead of myself yesterday and forgot to give you this as your birthday present." she holds it out from herself testing the balance and smiles as she looks back toward me.

"I love it, what is it made of? it looks beautiful." Freya watches from the side as she spins dough and accidently rips a hole in it.

"I don't know, I found the metal when I was scanning for something different. Catherine also didn't know what it was so I might have to take some to one of the Alchemy guilds to identify it, it is ridiculously durable and resistant to damage." she puts it in her ring and I hear the front door open and when I scan it I recognize it as Kia.

"Well I like it so thank you Nova." she wraps her arms on my neck and gives a quick kiss after putting the sword into her ring. Kia walks into the kitchen likely hearing us all talking.

"Welcome back Kia, how was your day?" she sighs and walks over to the bar and sits on a stool.

"Just the normal, a bit boring since Alice is busy managing different things now since some lazy devil shifted all his work onto her." I put a hand to my mouth and gasp.

"Who could do something so evil?" she snorts and leans back into the bar as she looks toward her mom and Athena preparing dinner. she smiles seeing her mom happily repairing the ruined dough and looks back over to me with a glare.

"Who do you think? though she has been happier and stopped complaining about being bored, it works out since now we don't run all over looking for fun. but its also much more boring without all the trouble she used to cause, oh well though I get more time to work on the designs to mentioned to me." I sit in the stool next to her and pull out the mask to see if it reacts to her.

"Hold this please." she takes it in-between her pointer and thumb like its made of something nasty.

"What is this tacky thing?" I point to my face and she raises a brow.

"Put it on real quick and see if it works." she shakes her head and try's to give it back. "its the god eating mask." she stiffens and looks down in shock, how where they expecting her to steal this thing when she cant even recognize it? they must of expected her to just report any news and never actually find the mask itself, likely fearing she would hide it from them or something.

"Why would I put it on?"

"You have a Beelzebub bloodline ability and becoming a devil might have enabled you to use it or something. I don't really know its mainly just curiosity, though if you link with it then it would be a huge help for your combat ability. even if your incredibly skilled with elemental magics it wouldn't hurt to have a godly artifact to assist you." she hesitantly puts the mask on only for it to fall off and I catch it. she looks at it a bit sad seeing it not work but also a bit relived.

"Seems I cant use it, sorry Nova." I shake my head and put it back in to the temple.

"Its not something you need to feel sorry for, it was just a test anyway." she smiles and we both notice Freya looking over sadly. most likely feeling bad for not birthing Kia as a Beelzebub, but its not like she got to pick and even if she did Kia would likely turn out to be a worse person if she was a royal family member like her father.

I stand up and am about to change the subject when I remember the stone that the mask dropped after the system absorbed all the sin from the remanent soul of Glorfindel. I pull it out and look at Kia who isn't paying attention.

"Hey Kia hold this and try to use your demonic energy on it." she turns back and then looks at my hands as she tilts her head she reaches for it. picking it up from my hand it starts to glow slightly, Kia's eyes go wide as I feel her demonic energy come out and the stone disappears from sight.

"Nova? what was that and where did it just go? I feel like I just sneezed in reverse and now my head kind of hurts." I check her over looking for both sin and damage and don't see anything. when I turn on all seeing eye I notice the rock is inside of the center of her chest. I hold up my hand and slowly reach to poke the area only to hear a low moan. "Nova!~ calm down my mom is watching.~"

I swing around and see both Freya and Athena looking at my hand in-between Kia's breasts. Freya's face goes red but it doesn't look like its from embarrassment, Athena sets down the bowl of sauce and puts her arms under her breasts to emphasize them.

"Not in the kitchen Nova." Athena sternly lectures, Freya shakes her head and looks back at the food. I finish checking the stone with my demonic energy and pull my hand back.

"I was checking the stone, it seems to be inside of you now. maybe try to sense it, its where I touched just now." Kia continues to look coquettish as she puts her own hand in-between as she looks around for it.

"I cant find it, can you help me again so I can figure out where it is?" smiling at her playful act and giving her a quick poke again in the spot she nods as she puts her own hand there. "I see, I don't feel anything though."

"Try demonic energy its inside after all." I shake my head and head over to help Athena and Freya since they both are distracted. a few minutes later Kia gasps and we all look in her direction.

"I think I am absorbing some kind of energy from it and its increasing my power." I go wide eyed, this is a useful feature. if every time I absorbed the body of a royal family member I get something like this I can train up a person from each family. Catherine wouldn't need it but Shea and now Kia do, even Delia could if she joins up with us. not sure yet who for the other family's but its something to look into if I get more stones.

"That's like the stone that Grimm put inside Shea to increase her cultivation, they called it the inheritance stone. it lets you raise up to the power that is in it, people give it to there descendants when they are dying. the person who makes the stone loses the power permanently so no one uses it before there end really and only in the royal family's usually." Athena chimes in.

"Let me know if it keeps empowering you Kia, I can try to get you more of them in the future." she smiles wide as she nods eagerly. who wouldn't want free power.
