Waking up I get cleaned up and dressed and head downstairs to get some breakfast. arriving in the kitchen I see Kia making some eggs. I grab some bread and begin to toast it on the side of her as she cooks on the flat top.

"Good morning Nova." she continues to flip her egg's as she makes conversation.

"Morning Kia, when do you meet with Alice?"

"She is busy today in the palace and doesn't need me to accompany her." I nod and steal a finished egg before she can swat my hand and make an egg sandwich. "Hey that one was mine, I put the seasoning on it just the way I like." she pouts even as she seasons another to her preference.

"Sorry, got to get my tax from you somehow. you just eat up all my food *Sigh* if I knew adopting a succubus was so expensive I would have thought twice." she deadpan's and then just shake's her head.

"Would have thought about it twice huh?" she subtly stretches showing off her killer figure then finishing with the flat top and turning it off. she plates her food and comes around the table to sit next to me.

"So I was planning on going to see about rescuing your mom when I got done with a few more thing's" I am confident in my ability to snag a powerless maid as she is walking around cleaning a house or such. finding her and then I can just teleport to her and then teleport out, wont be that hard to pull off. the hard part is if I can break the soul shackles, I have managed to wrestle Kia's from around her neck to in her hands if I had to best describe it. her soul can't be killed the way they are right now, but she could maybe be hurt through it still and I don't want the both of them to suffer in pain till I am demon emperor which is the same rank as the caster of the soul shackles. "Which is why once I find her I want to try to break yours completely then I will grab her once I know for sure I can break them completely. it would be pointless to grab her now just for her and possibly you suffer through the shackles torment till I have a way to completely break them. also once I do this you both need to completely 'disappear ' at least till blood fall has been dealt with or you have the personal strength to fight them off if someone strong was sent to take you back."

"I understand, we will have to remain hidden and if we go out we will have to be in disguise." if I reincarnate them then that will help with sensing them at least so it won't be too bad, they will just throw a cloak and mask on or something.

Hold up, why am I getting them to fake their death's when they can die for real? they can die and be seen dead then I reincarnate them as devils that way. or is that too screwed up? I mean if everyone thinks they're confirmed dead because they died then do they even need to worry about people looking for them? I will think about it more once I find Freya, but it is an option, like if Kia and Freya commit suicide together and Sabrina sees their dead bodies and the soul shackle disappear at death then when I revive them she won't be looking for them. the only problem is I don't know how long after death they can go before I cant revive them.

"I might have a way to make this work out better but there are still a lot of problems let's just wait and see if I can break the shackles manually once I find your mom." she seems interested in what my idea is but doesn't ask anymore. today I am going to try to make contact with Naliyi, need to see if she wants to escape. and also see if she has stolen the ring already; if not, I will take it myself.

"I am heading out for a while but I will be back later today if anyone asks let them know I will be back by dinner time."

"Ok Nova, good luck out there." I ruffle her hair and step back as I teleport to the mine in mountain xilang. checking out how the miners are settling in and getting back to work already, I set up some more dragon scripts to help them out and make them more comfortable. in the area where most work is happening I set up some dragon script to push the dust and airborne particles up and out toward a ventilation shaft and on another ventilation shaft I set it up to blow in the air at a nice cool temperature. all the miners seem excited at the improved conditions, I am doing this to have them as comfortable as possible so that they are as efficient as possible. we have to equip an entire army in the somewhat near future so the ore is necessary.

After improving the work condition of this mine I teleport to Yankou and do the same in the ice jade crystal mine. after a once over the town I decide that's enough Minecraft for today and teleport to town Leia. appearing in the same inn room since I overpaid and rented it for a week I leave the inn and head out to look for Naliyi.

The town has an entirely different vibe, it's to be expected with the town's resident sub-police force disappearing overnight. there are a lot more people walking around and kids playing in the street. after walking around for a while and asking the direction to the mayor's residence I finally find myself outside a massive compound. mayor Kander, an old great demon at the demon king rank, Kander has thirty-six or so wives. the newest one Naliyi was sold to the mayor by her husband who she thought loved her. pretty screwed up if you ask me but it is what it is, I am here to snag her because her death through burning herself alive in the original always left a bad taste in my mouth. gaining the ring for the treasure map is a nice consolation prize.

Approaching a lone servant in the yard I drag them to the side and ask a question about Naliyi and the ring. they answer she should be in the main building with the mayor and they don't know of the ring. meaning she most likely hasn't had an affair with Roman yet and stolen the ring. if the servant hasn't heard of it getting stolen then it's probably on the dude's hand. I can't kill him because then Catherine may think something is up with the town and by extension the pomeg fruit and not come or send a proxy. but knocking the old guy out and taking his wife and prized treasure shouldn't be a big deal. if anything he would keep that info as quiet as possible to not shame himself, in the original he was vocal about it because his wife had an affair and he needed to find the man because he had his ring. here he won't have any news of who took it and will only know his wife and ring got snagged. it would be a sign of his weakness if he came out publicly and told people someone got the better of him.

I knock out the servant and stash their unconscious body in some shrubbery, I then make my way inside the main building. sneaking toward the bedrooms I find a succubus who is carrying food on a tray and stop her.

"Hey, have you seen Naliyi?"

"Yea she is in the room at the end of the hall where I am going now with this food... wait who are you?!" taking the tray of food from her I then chop her neck dropping her on the floor unconscious, sending her out with teleportation to my base in the dark moon. I can hire her to be a server in one of my stores, if I leave her she will likely be killed for telling me where Naliyi was and if she's that ditsy when they ask about her then she is likely to tell them she told me. thinking about it I have a lack of employees and Kander has a whole harem of girls he is keeping against their will. if I save them they would likely be willing to work for me if I get them employment and offer them protection from the mayor.

*knock knock* I hear her approach the door and throw it open. seeing me with the food she glares. she has short purple hair and horns, she is very attractive and makes me question how someone could be willing to part with her for a promotion.

"I said I wasn't eating tonight I am not hungry." she practically spits on me with all the hate she has. I walk past her in the room and sit at the only table inside, she stands stunned before whirling back at me. "what the heck are you doing?!"

"Close the door and come eat, I don't want to be here longer than I have to." she is confused by the turn of events but closes the door, I draw some silence dragon script on the table with my finger carving it in the wood. "I am going to get you out of here if you want, but I need the ring off the old man for a map." if I offered freedom at no cost she would refuse thinking I want to possess her or something. this way she will be more tempted since it seems I need her help and she will have to pay for the ride so to speak. also telling her I need it for a map is to prevent her from thinking I want it for the male enhancement function which would have her thinking I am a pervert of some kind. there is already a rumor around the ring being for a map and she knows it so no big shocking reveal.

"You're going to get me out of here?" she looks at me skeptically. "I don't know how you got in posing as a servant to deliver me the food but Kander will be here soon you should leave. the old man love's his girls fresh, or at least that's what the other girls told me, they said he will get bored of me when he gets a new one. either way, you should go so he doesn't kill you, he is demon king rank." the sentiment of her worrying about me is misplaced and unneeded but it still shows she is somewhat a kind person. I only know of her after she was tortured and was ready to die, but this Naliyi Infront of me just seems fed-up with everything and angry.

"I will be fine, when he comes I will incapacitate him and take the ring and then you if you want to leave. I am using you as bait and if you're still here then he will likely kill you in anger thinking you're involved." not giving her much of a choice here since if she stays I know she will die horribly, at worst I give her some money and let her take off on her own after this. best case I hire her to run my alcohol business since she has alchemy experience and can run the machines I have if I give her a pawn piece.

"Why? you could just take it and go, there's no reason to help me for you."

"I can and I felt like it, maybe you could help me with something after this, or don't I don't care either way just make your decision by the time I knock the old man out because I won't hang around." she looks at me skeptically for a few minutes then sighs and grabs some of the food. after thinking about it I decide to steal all his wives away for multiple reasons but the main one being there likely all good-looking which will work way with them working as eye candy for my business. and I am sure most will stay to work since they would be scared of retaliation from the mayor but if they want to return I can just teleport them back and wipe their memories since they're likely not even intermediate level in strength. the mayor is too paranoid of a person to have someone with power in bed with him, he would be scared of being attacked.

"So what might you need me for after this?" she has eaten all the food proving she actually was hungry and was likely trying to starve herself like in the original, but the fact she ate shows she is starting to have hope to live.

"You got any experience in any kind of profession?" I ask as I pull out a fruit and eat it as we wait.

"I studied to be an alchemist but the only thing I have been able to do was to make a poison to use on myself to poison the mayor when he has his way with me." she stares at the jade dragon fruit I am eating so I just snort and toss her one. I also pass her some antidote I keep handy in case I use stolas on someone and need to fix them up after.

"What is in this?" she swirls the antidote a purple-colored fluid in a small bottle with a stopper. I shrug and she puts the fruit in her mouth as she opens the vial and smells it. "Is this something for the poison? I may not be a top expert in the field but surely you need to know what's in my poison to give me a cure." she seems almost offended but drinks it anyway before finishing the fruit.

"It should work, if it doesn't I can use some of the poison in you to make a better antidote." or when I turn her into a devil she should be cured.
