17 The destroyer

Thea awoke around 30 minutes after she fell asleep to the sound of Thor shouting for her. When she opened her green eyes and lookes around to find they were outside a bar. She sat up and was about to exit the car when she felt something was wrong and looked down... only to find Mjolnir was no longer in her hand but instead on her lap, over both of her thighs.

She couldn't move. She tried to stand but couldn't, causing her to look down at Mjolnir with a blank stared. "Are you going to get off me?" She asked and Mjolnir just hummed in response. She placed her hand, which was now without scales, on Mjolnirs handle and attempted to lift it but she failed.

"Mjolnir, get your fat ass off me" Thea said but Mjolnir didn't bother responding, so Thea began trying to pull even harder. Thor was just watching in the background and did not really know what to do. He couldn't lift Mjolnir to help and he had doubts that Mjolnir would listen to him at the moment so he could only watch.

Meanwhile Eric was wondering whether or not Thea was crazy for speaking to a hammer. He just watched with an exausted expression thinking about what all the things these two have done since they arrived 2 days ago.

After a few seconds of meaningless pulling, Thea finally sighed and her eyes sparkled with amusement. "Ah, Naruhodo!" She said as her face lit up with understanding. "You love me soo much that you couldn't bare to be even an inch away from me. Haa, what a needy hammer but since we are besties I will tolerate you."

Her loving smile yet teasing words caused Thor's eyebrows to twitch and Mjolnir began to vibrate and flash with lightning before it levatated and flew towards Thea's face... and Erics jaw dropped.

Thea's face lit up with a smile as she tilted her head avoiding the hammer that then flew through the side of the jeep. She stood up and patted her clothes down before walking out of the jeep with her hands in her pockets, only to come face to face with and angry Eric.

"What's the gist, physicists?" She asked, tilting her head questioningly with a smile. "What's the gist you ask? You destroyed my Jeep... and what the fuck just happened.." He shouted, pointing at the square hole in his door and then at Mjolnir who was just floating there. Thea turned and looked at the hammer shaped hole in the jeep, then looked at the trying not to laugh Thor and then looked at Mjolnir that was now on the floor.

"It was Millie" She said pointing at Mjolnir. "Tell Millie to pay and if she cannot afford it then tell her to sell herself, I am sure she is worth alot." Thea said and Thor stopped laughing. "Wait, wait, wait. Firstly, Millie? Secondly, She? and thirdly nobody is selling Mjolnir." He said.

"Firstly it's her new nickname. Secondly, I am naming her a she, since I would rather not have the image of my holding a guy by his handle and carrying him around and thirdly, tis but a joke."

Thor's jaw dropped at her words and began to rethink his existence but Eric was still mad. "I don't care what gender a hammer is, what I want is A) who's going to fix my car? and B) why the fuck can a hammer move?"

Thor and Thea looked at each other for a few seconds before turning back to Eric.

""Magic hammer"" They both said at the same time and then giggled like children. Thea then took a credit card from her back pocket and threw it at Eric. Eric caught it and looked back to Thea confused, causing her to chuckle.

"Its a credit card with no limit. You can either repair the car or just buy a new one but don't do anything stupid." She said before both her and Thor walked into the restaurant, leaving behind Mjolnir since they knew noone could take her.

long story short, they sat at the bar whilst Eric questioned Mjolnir and then questioned Thor's intentions towars Jane. Thea just sat and wtached with a bored expression downing drink after drink and both Thor and Eric got drunk. Thea threw both of them in the jeep and drove them towards Janes apartment... leaving Mjolnir to wallow in self pity seemingly forgotten... until Thea flipped Mjolnir off out of the window.

After she drove them back she placed both of them on a bed before she grabbed a chair and sat outside watching the stars. After around 30 minutes, Thor walked out and sat beside her. Neither spoke for around 10 minutes until Thea broke the silence.

"Your know he was lying right?" She said with a yawn and Thor looked confused. "Your brother" she said and Thor's eyes went wide. "Everything that came out of his mouth was a lie. Your father still lives, your mother never forbade your return and the throne was never burdened upon him, it was something he sought."

She said and she didn't hear a reply. She looked towards Thor and saw him staring at the floor with a plethra of emotions. Relief, sadness, betrayal, rage. She saw several emotions passing through his eyes before he finally replied. "How do you know" he asked.

"I can manipulate light the same way I can lightning. If I manipulate the light in my eyes, I can see things others can't... that plus I have always been good at detecting lies and deceit." She explained, now looking at the moon and she heard Thor mutter an "I see" before he walked away.

Soon the night passed and it was now early morning. All five of them were now sat around the table as Thor had made breakfast. Jane and Darcy were shocked to find the two of them when they woke but quickly forget it at the sight of Thor making breakfast.

They did however, notice that Thea was in a bad mood but couldn't bring themselves to ask if she was ok. They didn't really know or nor have they made an effort to speak to her, so they didn't really have an right to ask about her personal life.

30 minutes after they had eaten, they heard a commotion outside but passed it off. The commotion got louder and louder as time passed and after a few minutes Jane was just about to check what was happening when four people knocked on the door, three men and a woman.

All of them were dressed in weird armour, almost like they were preparing for a battle... at comicon.

When all of them turned towards the door, one of the men began bouncing on the spot. "Found you" he said and Thor's face lit up. Jane, Darcy and Eric looked towards the four people shocked as Thor shouted "My friends and then ran towards them and bringing them into a group hug.

"Impossible" Eric muttered and one of the men turned towards him. "Oh excuse me. Lady siff" He said pointing at the woman. "And the warrior three." He said refering to himself and the other two men. Eric and the other two nodded at him before turning towards Thor who was laughing.

"You guys, I have never been happier to see anyone... but you should not have come." Thor said.

"What? Thor, we are here to take you home." One of the men said.

"You know I can't go home... mother has banished me and Loki has taken rein." Thor replied

"I told you he lied." Thea said, causing the others to look at her. "You didn't belive me, huh." she stated with a causal tone whilst staring out of the window.

Thor looked at her and sighed. "I apolgise Thea, but he is my brother and I have known him for over a thousand years." Thor said.

"I see" Thea said with a yawn as she stood up and left to fetch Mjolnir who she may or may not have purposely left at the bar.

The rest watched her leave and thought that she may have been offended and Thor looked guilty. He turned to his friends and said "My father... he died because of me... I must remain in exile."

Lady Sith looked extremely confused at his words. "Thor... The girl was right, your father still lives." she said and Thor went wide eyed.

Meanwhile Thea was casually strolling through the streets on the way to the bar, barely keeping her eyes open. She noticed several people keeping an eye on her from the rooftops but she was too tired to care.

Whilst walking she looked down at her phone, seeing a piece of news she stumbled upon by accident.

"Moira Queen, CEO of Queen consolidated, marries Walter Steele."

She happened upon the news late last night which is one of the reasons she didn't sleep. She knew her relationship with her mother was bad, but to not invite her own child to her wedding was a reality check. It was the moment she read that article that she knew whatever relationship she had with her mother was gone.

It took her a little while to reach the bar since she kept taking wrong turns... or walking into walls but she eventually managed to stumble upon a group of drunken idiots attempting to lift it.

Thea found the situation slightly amusing, so instead of helping she leaned against the wall next to her with her arms crossed and watched. Mjolnir would hum everytime someone tried to lift it and Thea couldn't tell whether it was from disgust or rage. She knew Mjolnir was prideful and the idea of a drunken idiot lifting it was insulting.

After around 5 minutes of entertainment she got bored. So she walked through the crowd and arrived in front of Mjolnir. "Sup princess, how ya been." Thea asked and Mjolnir began vibrating so much it moved causing the people around to rub their eyes.

"Awww, you miss me soo much?" She asked as she walked closer and placed her hand on the handle of Mjolnir. What surprised her though was that she felt no weight when she pulled and Mjolnir easily lifted, causing not only hers but the surrounding peoples eyes to widen.

"That bad huh?" Thea asked knowing that Mjolnir would rather let her lift it than stay with these people. Mjolnir hummed in response and Thea placed Mjolnir on her shoulder before proceeding to leave.

Everyone was still in shock at the fact that a young girl had just picked up the thing they had been trying and by the time they came back to their senses, she was long gone.

Eventually, Thea made it back to the house to find them all sitting and reminicing about the past. She just walked past them and placed Mjolnir in front of Thor on her way past before heading into one of the spare rooms to take a nap.

Thor's friends looked dumbfounded at the revelation of her holding Mjolnir and even Thor was slightly shocked since he could tell that Mjolnir allowed her to lift it.

"Who is she and how is she worthy?" Sith asked and the three brothers all nodded in sinc. Thor chuckled at their antics before answering. "Her name is Thea, she is a friend I made when I first arrived. She has helped me a lot... she even helped me retrieve Mjolnir."

"But how?" One of the men asked and Thor just shook his head.

"I do not know. When I first saw her and Mjolnir together they were fighting. Afterwards, even when Mjolnir resisted, Thea continued to hold Mjolnir with pure strength. I know she is strong... but how strong I do not know."

Everyone in the room began thinking on Thors words until they suddenly heard a boom and the house shook. Everyone looked outside to see people running away so they all ran outside to see what was going on.

Arriving outside they looked down the road to see a huge cloud and what apeared to be a tornado. Several SUV's where surrounding the Tornado and after a few seconds they saw a beam of energy shoot out of the tornado and blow up one of the cars.

Then a huge 9 foot tall, silver robot, that looked like a suit of armour, walked out of the tornado with its face glowing orange. "The destroyer" Thor muttered and his four friends paled slightly before clutching their weapons.

All of them began preparing to fight with Eric trying to get Jane and Darcy to safety. Meanwhile Thor cursed Loki in his head... and Thea slept safe and sound.
