16 A Series Of Coincidence's

Currently, both Thor and Thea are locked in a small room of sorts. All around them is one way glass. Thor was sat on a chair looking around and Thea was sat on the floor with Mjolnir still in her grip. Very soon a man in a full black suit entered the room and stared at Thor. He had pale blue eyes, slick back brown hair that was recceeding and a slightly wrinkled face showing his experience.

"You. *sigh* You made my men, some of the most highly trained profesionals in the world, look like a bunch of minimum waged mall cops. That hurts you know. Now, the only way that would be possible, is if you had similar training. So my question to you, is where did you recieve said training?" He said with his arms folded in front of him.

Thor didn't bother responding to the mans question. Firstly, they would not believe him. Secondly he has already lost his powers and finally, he is not in a talking mood right now.

"Was it Pakistan? Chechnya? Afghanistan? Naa, you are definitely more of the soldier type. Maybe a mercenary? South Africa then?" He continued to ask questions but Thor didn't even glance in his direction and Thea just watched on with amusement at the fact that the God of Thunder is being treat like a mercenary.

"Who are you?" The man asked and Thor finally looked up and into his eyes, but still remained silent. "One way or another we will find out what we need to know, we are particulary good at that." He said before turning to Thea. He was just about to start talking when three beeps where heard and he pulled out a phone from his pocket.

He looked up, sighed, and then said "Don't go anywhere" before he walked out of the room. Silence rained for a few moments and Thea was about to speak to Thor when she noticed a third person in the room, though she could tell it was just an illusion.

"Loki.... what are you doing here?" Thor asked in both puzzlement and shock. Causing Thea to analyse the man.. The man looked around the same age as Thor. He had shoulder length black hair that was brushed back and pale blue eyes. He was wearing a green trench coat and a scarf around his neck. He exluded an aura of self importance and... arrogance, no matter how much he tried to hide it.

"I had to see you" Loki said with a flat tone and Thor looked taken aback.

"What heppened?" Thor asked. "Is it Jotunheim? Let me explain to father." Thea could hear the desperation in his voice but his next words caused Thea's eyes to narrow.

"Father is dead!" Loki said and Thor looked confused for a few moments.

"What?" He asked and Loki continued. "Your banishment, the threat of a new war, all of it was too much for the old man to bare. You mustn't blame yourself, I know you loved him and I tried to tell him but... he would not listen."

As these words left Loki's mouth, a tear began to roll down Thor's cheek and Thea's eyes turned into slits at the sight. She hadn't seen him cry since she first met him. Even when he was banished into a new land by himself, even when he lost his powers and was unable to wield his lifelong partner, he raged... but he did not cry.

What made her truly angry though, was the fact that she knew he was lying. She could see his emotions and he wasn't sad or guilty, nor was he mourning. He was satisfied and happy. As if watching the man in front of him cry, was something worth celebrating.

Even Mjolnir crackled with a small amount of lightning and this was enough for Loki to take notice, causing him to look over and when he did the first thing he saw was Mjolnir surrounded by streaks of blue lightning.

Then he saw a black scaled hand on the head of Mjolnir, lifting it, causing his eyes to widen slightly. He followed the scaled arm up and saw an extremely beautiful girl, but what he was focused on, was the emeral green draconic eyes staring at him without blinking and his heart momentarily stopped at the emotionless gaze.

He looked back to Thor and asked "Who is she" causing Thor to look up and then at Thea before he wiped his eyes and smiled sadly.

"Oh yes, how could I forget. Thea meet me brother, Loki. Loki meet my new friend Thea, she has helped me quite a lot since I have arrived here and it seems Mjolnir has taken a liking to her."

Loki looked back towards Thea and mjolnir who seemed to be trembling with defiance at Thor's words. "A pleasure miss Thea, I am Loki, thank you for taking care of my brother" He said with a smile and Thea's eyes narrowed slightly before she smirked and nodded towards him.

"Sup" she said before looking at the still trembling Mjolnir and her smirk widened. "Why are you trembling? Are you so happy that Thor called us best friends? Hahahaha, no need to be embarrassed, I'll reluctantly accept you." She said whilst laughing and Mjolnir began attacking her with lightning but she just laughed and kept teasing... him? her? it? Hotel? Triviago?

Loki looked shocked at the image of Thea just casually teasing a hammer whilst said hammer continued throwing lightning at her but Thor just sighed, almost like he was used to it.

Loki then turned to Thor but kept on glancing at Thea from the corner of his eye. He was cautious of her since not even he, a god, could lift the hammer and yet she could. What makes her worthy? he wondered.

"The burden of the thone has fallen to me now." Loki said with an exausted tone, like he had no choice but to except his fate but Thor looked back to him with slight hope in his eyes.

"Can I come home?" He questioned and Loki just shook his head.

"The truce with Jotunheim is conditional upon your excile."

"Yes, but couldn't we find a way..."

"And mother has forbidden your return." At this words, Thor's eyes dim and another tear falls from his eye. Thea was watching from the corner of her eye and was very tempted to throw Mjolnir at the lying son of smurf and she probably would have if not for him being an illusion.

"This is goodbye, brother.... I am so sorry" Loki says and Thor just shaked his head and looks down at the floor.

"No. No, I am sorry....*sigh* Thank you for coming here." Thor whisperes in a sad voice and Loki stares at him for a few seconds before saying "Farewell".

He then took one last glance at Thea and Mjolnir, before he turned around and disapeared.

"Just as Loki disappears, Thor said "Goodbye", at the same time as the door opening and the agent from before walked in, causing him to look slightly confused,

"Goodbye? I just got here." He said with his hands in his pockets. After saying this, he turned to look at Thea once more and noticed her and the hammer where having a game of rock paper lightning... through it always ends in a draw?

"Ahem, miss Queen." Thea turned to look at him and tilted her head innocently. "Yes, Mr....?"

"Ah, where are my manners? I am agent Coulson. I am a fan of your music." He said with a poilite smile. Thea nodded her head at this. "I see Mr Agent, what can I do for you?" She said with a smile of her own.

"I have a couple questions that I would like to ask, the first one being... what are you?" He asked and Thea though about it for a few seconds before replying:

"An electrician" causing Coulsons smile to twitch. "Really? An electrician... who can casually throw around lightning bolts?" He asked and Thea just nodded with a very serious face.

"Uhuh, I gotta be prepared for the worst, so I trained by mediating in the Himalayas and was struck by lightning repeatedly until my body absorbed it.... and now I can change any electric circuit without needing to worry about being electrocuted."

"WAIT" Thor interupted. "You can control lightning?" He asked incredibly and Thea didn't say anything but instead her entire body, minus her right arm, transormed into a humanoid blue lightning, causing Thor's jaw to drop and Coulsons eyes to widen to the limit.

After a few seconds, Thor gained a rain cloud above his head as his shoulders slumped. "I thought I was the God of thunder" He muttered.

"See, an electrician" She said with a bright smile, now back to her regular old demon self... and a scaly right arm which Coulsen took notice of.

"That doesn't explain your arm. Why is it filled with scales? Why does it have claws? and what is it? He asked with narrowed eyes and Thea narrowed her own as she stared at her arm before speaking slowly.

"It's A erm... special condition? That's right, its albinism." She said, nodding her head with pride.

"Its black." Was Coulsons reply.

"I was born on opposite day so UNO reverse card." She said and Coulson nearly felt a vein burst in his head. He couldn't believe someone who's music he loved to listen to, one so much younger than himself, was blatanlty teasing him.

After taking a few deep breaths to calm him self, he continued with his questions.

"Why did you break into a S.H.I.E.L.D. base?"

"I got lost"

"5o miles west from New Mexico?"

"I am directionaly challenged"

"Records state that several people saw you at Tony Starks birthday party on the 29th, yesterday, and you're telling me you somehow ended up getting lost nearly 2000 miles away."

At these words Thea just sighed and looked crestfallen. "*Sigh* What can I say, one minute I was eating breakfast with my friend Nova and the next minute I am sat in front of an unconscious man in a field. If you don't believe me check the hotel cameras, one minute I am there, the next I am not."

Coulson began to rub his head, feeling a headache coming on and decided to take a seat, grabbing the chair originally meant for Thea. "And this man you speak of is Thor correct." He asked and Thea nodded.

"So, lets assume all of this is true. You got lost in New Mexico, 2000 miles from your original destination and are now suddenly in front of an unconcious man, it still does not explain why you attacked my men, nor where Thor is from, Nor how he fought some of the best trained men in the world singlehandedly and don't even get me started on you." He said in one breath before taking a deep breath and staring at her with accusing eyes.

Thea just tilted her head innocently. "Funny story actually, you see me and Thor were lucky enough to get a lift by three wonderful scientists, who not only gave us food but also shelter. The day after however, we could not keep imposing on them so we decided to leave. We said our goodbyes and then began walking in a random direction and got lost once more.

After that, we came across your little base thingy and decided to ask for directions BUT, the second a man saw me, he was immediately attracted to my beauty and overcome with lust, and began running at me with outstreched arms intending to molest me. Thor decided to save me and knocked the man out and then the alarm sounded and... well you know the rest. Isn't that right Thor"

After her little story, Thea turned towards Thor with an innocent smile and Thor was just staring at her blankly before catching on. *cough* "Ye-Yes. It is a mans duty to protect an innocent young woman and I was simply doing my duty. Just a series of unfortunate coincidences is all. right?" He said before he also smiled innocently at Thea.

"Right." They both then began staring at Coulson with the same smile and for a moment, her actaully believed them, before he was brought out of his stupor by a man entering the room. "Sir, They have a visitor" He said and Coulson snapped out of it before he stood up and stormed out of the room.

As soon as they door was closed, both Thor and Thea burst out laughing at how puzzled the agent was. It wasn't until several minutes later that another agent opened the door and told them to follow him. They took him to the entrance of the base, and stood there was one of the scientists they previously mentioned, Eric.

He was talking to Coulson and seemingly trying to convince him of the innocence of a man named "Donald Blake" and "Thea Queen" so Thor and Thea just stood and watched whilst admiring the stars. A few minutes later, Coulson shook his head before turning and walking away. Eric then looked towards them and waved signalling them to follow him, before he turned and walked in the direction of his jeep.

Soon Thor, Thea and Eric were all united in the jeep and heading back towards the town in a peaceful yet awkward silence, so Thea just decided to sleep for a while, ending another perfectly entertaining day.

I am sure most of you have already noticed but I made Mjolnir sentient. With its own will and conscience, though that conscience is like that of a prideful child.
