A meeting of two geniuses.

3rd person pov.

After Thea woke up at 8 AM, her and Nova decided to get some food. They both ordered room service, since it was free, and ate in their rooms whilst discussing their plans for the day. Nova said she was fine with anything and Thea said she wanted to go shopping and visit Stark Industries.

They decided on shopping first since they both needed clothes, so they booked a taxi and headed towards a large shopping mall. It was a huge square building and had hundreds, if not thousands of people in view. Different shops were on either sides as you walked with different products displayed on the windows to attract your attention, or sometimes people would be wearing said clothes as advertisment.

Thea and Nova visited several shops and bought a lot of clothes from several places. They bought everyday clothes like jeans, sweats, hoodies, shoes, they also bought underwear and robes for relaxing. Afterwards they had the clothes delivered back to the hotel.

Now that that was taken care of, they decided to go and visit Stark industries. Since the mall and the hotel were so far away from the company, Thea decided to go back to the hotel and deal with the clothes whilst Nova decided to use her speed.

She walked into an alley and made sure noone was watching before she suddenly disappeared in a flash of light. No more than a second later, she appeared across new york in another alley close to stark industries.

She was wearing light blue ripped jeans, an oversized grey hoodie with her hood down and a pair of black and white jordans on her feet. She was just about to exit the alley when four people entered and froze when they saw here before smiling.

"Oh Look lads, a lost lamb" He said with a chuckle and the others laughed along with him. "What you doing down here little lady." he asked with a creepy smile, but Thea just yawned, turned around and began walking away.

The man was stunned for a few moments but then became annoyed. He walked forward intending to grab her. "Oi I am talking to yo-" *BOOM* However, he never managed to utter a word before a lightning bolt dropped from the sky and landed on him, causing him to drop to the floor twitching.

"""CHAD!!""" the other 3 screamed before rushing to him but Thea just continued walking and a few minutes later, she was stood in front of the company. She walked through the front doors, attracting a lot of attention since she was a young teen, and walked to the front desk were a receptionist sat on the phone.

Behind a wooden desk sat a young brunette wearing glasses. She was looked to be around 20 years old and wore a polite smile. Thea, seeing her on the phone, decided to wait by looking around and after a few minutes the woman turned her attention to Thea. "Yes, how may I help?" she said with a work smile.

"I was hoping for a tour of the building. I am one of the investors and was hoping to look around." Thea answered. She was actaully quite unsure why she came here now that she thinks about it. She came to NYC for a vacation not business, sure she would like to meet the billionair behind the company, but thats only because of his intelligence. She doesn't really have a goal in mind.

"E-err. Do you have proof of what you said? Cause I mean... you look-"

"Like a teenager yes, yes I do, and what does my appearance have to do with my abilities?" The interupted with a blank expresion. She understood the woman was not being rude and just cautious but it was still insulting being looked down upon.

"I'm sorry miss but I cannot let you in without any sort of proof." her words caused Thea to nod with a sigh. "Just google Thea Queen" She said causing the woman to look confused but comply nevertheless. After a few seconds of the sound of a keyboard, the womans eyes slowly widened before she looked back to Thea with astonisment, comparing the pictures on the internet with the one in front of her.

Thea wasn't really surprised since the internet lists all her achievments over the years like her music, art, business talent, The fact she can speak 8 languages, family background and other things too. After seemingly confirming the identity of Thea, the woman dialed a number on her phone and a few seconds later she spoke.

"M-Mr Stark, Thea Queen is here at the company.... Yes.... she said she was an invester and wanted a tour....A-alright." After this she put the phone down and looked back to Thea with a smile noticeably brighter than before. "Mr stark said he will personally give you a tour and will be here in a few minutes, please wait over there."

At her words, Thea just nodded, before proceeding to sit on one of the sofa's as she played on her phone, looking for places to visit in New York. Moments later she heard the sound of an elevator and out walked a man in a suit. A middle age man with a goatee and short brown hair, exuding an aura of arrogance.

After scanning the area, he made eye contact with Thea and they both maintained eye contact for a few seconds. 'Stark' then released a smile before walking over and reaching for a handshake." Tony Stark, pleasure to meet you. Heard a lot about you online and I do enjoy meeting other genius's."

Thea also released a small smile before she shook his hand. "Takes one to know one I guess." Tony laughed at her words and said "Well, I will personally give you a tour so, ready to go?"

Thea nodded at his words and in front of the stunned eyes of everyone in the reception area, both of them entered the elevator and disappeared.

Tony showed Thea around the company. Of course he coudn't show her government secrets since it is well known that Stark industires leans towards weapons, but there was still a lot of interesting things such as advanced technology like Tony's A.i, phones capable of releasing holograms, and other technologies that are years ahead of the other companies.

Tony was just happy to have someone with who he can have a proper intellectual conversation and Thea was happy to be able to witness such fascinating technology, especially towards the end.

"And then we have this... The blueprints to the arc reactor made by my old man. An unfinished project." Tony said and Thea was stunned. The arc reactor was a huge silver machine that glowed blue in the centre. The numbers and calculations she was seeing were mind blowing and so advanced that even she needed a few seconds to calculate them with her advanced mind. (remember she thinks super fast)

"Amazing. So many gigajoules per minute. How the hell did he manage to make something so technologically advanced when technology was so far behind?." Thea asked but Tony was amazed she understood her fathers project within seconds.

"You understand this?" He asked and Thea just nodded before saying. "But from what I can see... it's incomplete. It's missing something and I can't figure out what. All the calculations lead towards something, an energy source but what that source is I cannot understand. Palladium is too weak to fuel it to its fullest potential.... it needs something stronger but none of periodic elements fit."

"Yeah, I figured that when I read it. No matter which element we replace Palladium with decreases the maximum output of the reactor or destabilises it."

"Well yeah, Palladium is apart of the platinum group but has the least density and lowest melting point. Because of this, the energy produced from the reactor prevents it from solidifying and clogging the cables. Its also one of the most stable elements with only one of seven isotopes are unstable. Palladiums only downfall is how radioactive it is."

Tony contemplated whether speaking for a moment before he just sighed. "It won't work. I know what it is that he built the blue print around and it's currenlty sitting in a lab in a top secret government facility." His words caused Thea to look on with interest.

"Oh? and what is so important that the government locked it away?"

"The key to unlimited energy... or so I read from my fathers notes. Something called a tesseract. My father discovered its potential during world war 2 and designed this around it, later it was taken by the government."

Once more Thea's eyes gleamed with interest as she heard this. As far as she was concerned, unlimited energy was impossible and now hearing that the government had the secret to it... well, she was interested.

"Interesting" she whispered. "I see. Well, it's a pity but I wonder if there is another way."

"Maybe" Tony answered. Afterwards the tour ended and they returned to Tony's office and both began to talk about random things. Things that most people wouldn't understand and things that they both like. After an hour or so, Thea decided it was time to leave and so Tony walked her to the doors.

"Well, its been fun but it seems its goodybe huh." Thea said.

"How long you in New York?"

"6 months, I got here yestday and decided to just relax. I'm not sure if I will stay for the whole 6 months though."

"Well, you have my number so if you ever wanna chat, either give me a call or just come here, your welcome whenever."

"I will do, let me know if you ever get a hold of that tesseract you spoke of, I want to see this so called unlimited energy." Thea said with a smile and Tony chuckled.

"Sure thing."

After that, they said goodbye and Thea walked back into an alley before she flashed and appeared near her hotel once more. She walked through the double doors and into the wide open reception where she was greeted with 3 women sat behind the marble desk.

After showing them the key to her room she headed to the 3 highest floor which was essentially a penthouse. Opening the door, she found Nova watching television and all the clothes seemed to be packed away. Upon noticing her she waved.

"Welcome back miss. How did it go?"

"It was interesting. He's defintiely a genuis, his intelligence is higher than mine." Thea said and Nova went wide eyed.

"Smarter than you?" she asked and Thea chuckled."Yes he is a lot smarter than me. I specialise in math, biology and technology. He focuses on physics, engineering, technology, Artifical intelligence and a lot more if I am not mistaken. The only think I have over him is my ability to think fast." She explained and Nova was surprised since she has never heard of anyone smarter than Thea.

She is a 13 year old with a business degree, A math degree, someone who could take apart a phone and reasemmble it at 6, someone who speaks 8 languages, a music prodigy, art prodigy. She has accomplished a lot within a few years so she developed a mentality that puts Thea above others. When she found out about Thea's abilities, her mentality was elevated once more so finding out someone is more intelligent than Thea was quite the shocker.

"No need to be so surprised, intelligence he may have, strength he does not" Thea said in a Yoda voice causing Nova to laugh. Afterwards they both ordered some food and watched a movie whilst talking an laughing. Putting an end to an eventful day.

Next chat will be a time skip to around 2011, when thor shows up. Iron man will already be around. Sorry if her interaction with tony was a bit short, I just wanted to introduce them some way for 2012.
