26 Chapter 26: Multiversal Chat-Group

The inter-club swim meet event was over and time passed by quickly for the sky to become night.
Zenkichi, wearing only casual clothes consisting of a white tank top and a red and black mixed colored flannel pants pajama, let out a sigh and flopped over his bed.
"Woo. Mom really went all out with dinner, just because we won the Inter-club Swim Meet."
He looked at his phone and saw that it was still early, and since he wasn't that tired from participating in the activities and fighting Takachiho, he decided to check on the new updates the system of his had.

"Is this really still a lottery system?" Zenkichi commented with a doubtful look, he shook his head.
He already knew what the quest system was and went to press the second system.
[Title System]
–The title system's main function is to give the user certain types of skills, mainly passive ones, and boost up your "aura" to match the title given to you by the masses. Titles are gained when a group of people gives you one and has a belief or faith in it.
Current Titles–
[Demonic Hound]: Gives off an intimidating and demonic aura against enemies. Gives a small chance of fear effect activating against strong enemies but it completely works against weak enemies.
[Dragon Warrior]: You are the balance between yin and yang; your body will be pure of all filth and every energy works in your body. The spirit of a great warrior dwells inside your body, giving off a majestic and dignified aura that would make almost anyone before you to kneel.
[Harem Protagonist]: Girls are more attracted to you, guys would naturally envy you. Cringe and cliché pick-up lines will work completely on certain girls.
"...What the hell?"
Zenkichi chuckled at the last title, finding it amusing but also feeling a bit embarrassed. He wondered who started such a nickname for him and how it–
Medaka, Shiranui, Nabeshima
Zenkichi's lips thinned. It wasn't hard to figure out how he gained that sort of title. It wasn't his fault that he didn't manage to find a suitable male member for his crew because the ones he came across fell in two types; assholes that come after him and idiots!
'That's it. The last member has to be a male! This isn't a fucking harem anime for christ's sakes!'
He quickly moved on to the next system option.
[Multiversal Contract System]
–The Multiversal Contract System allows the user to make contracts with other beings, granting them various benefits. Contracts can be made with anyone from the same multiverse or even beings from other universes. The benefits gained from a contract can range from a boost in power, items, information, or even allegiance.
Whenever the user makes a contract with someone they gain a certain amount of bond level with them, depending on the result of their contract. Bond levels are gained through successful contracts and can unlock unique abilities or exclusive items.
Zenkichi grinned inwardly, thinking about the potential benefits of this system. He could make contracts with powerful beings and gain their allegiance or even boost his own power.
'Could I, scam a god with their authority pr something? Or possibly even a main character's luck and skills?!' Zenkichi clenched his hands at the possibilities of getting overpowered skills from fictional character in other universes.
He would have to be careful though, as making contracts with certain beings could lead to unwanted consequences.
'I am staying far, far away from any Marvel, DC, Lovecraft, Fate, SCP; specifically any universe that has the ability to break the 4th wall or reality hopping to here. I don't want some pissed off reality warping bastard coming to me for a refund!'
Zenkichi thought about it and decided to test this contract system in this universe first so he could run down any flaws he'd unknowingly make and wouldn't get scammed by his own contract. Plus, it's not like there's a reality warping user in this world.
...right?
'I should test it on either Medaka or Shiranui, I'm getting their skills for real!' Zenkichi nodded and went to check onto the last system.
The last system option was what caught his eye the most, and he eagerly pressed it.
[Multiversal Chat-Group System]
–The Multiversal Chat-Group System allows the user to join and create chat-groups with individuals from across the multiverse. These chat-groups enable communication and collaboration between members, allowing for discussions, sharing information, and even coordinating actions.
Membership in certain chat-groups can grant access to exclusive information or benefits, and the system gives the user the ability to send any sort of gifts to all or any of the members of the group chat.
To activate it, the user must have a phone in hand.
Zenkichi his phone out and checked to see that there was a new app in it that he never saw before. It was called, Multiversal Chat-Group.
"So simple..." Zenkichi couldn't help but mutter as he pressed the app.
[Ding! Multiversal Chat-Group, activated!]
[You have been given Administrative permissions for the chat-group. Would you like to make any changes to the settings?]
Zenkichi thought about it for a moment before deciding to leave the settings as is for now, though he changed the theme and default emoji of the CG. The app or system seemed to have the settings similar to facebook messenger. He further scrolled down to see the members of the CG.

Zenkichi watched the chat unfold, feeling a bit out of place as he didn't know any of these people yet. But just from their account names he could somewhat guess who they are.
'Maybe I should introduce myself?' He blinked his eyes as he saw what his name in the chat was.

Zenkichi let out a sigh, "Figures." He then started to type in the explanation about the multiverse and that each member is from a different universe.
As he was typing the explanation, he received a sudden notification coming from his message.
He quickly finished explaining to them about the situation before closing it to see who was messaging him.
'Hm? Nabeshima-senpai? What does she–how did she get my number?'
He opened up the message and his jaw went slacked.
[Heya! Hitoyoshi-kun, by this weekend, on Saturday, do you want to go on a date with me?]
