120 Chapter 119: Reinforcement

Gudako POV

A bright flash of blue light flashed, momentarily blinding Gudako as she raises her arms instinctively.

"Master! Open your eyes!" Said the familiar sweet voice of her kouhai.

A moment later, she slowly opens her eyes and was surprised to see everyone except herself and Mash was gone, they were still in the same place.

"W-What? Why are we the only ones still here...?" This really surprises her, considering she knew about Emiya's greatest ability/his true Noble Phantasm; Reality Marble: Unlimited Blade Works. It would usually take anyone in the user's vicinity into their projected inner world. Why were they the only ones excluded? In fact, it would have been logical to have only taken her as she was the Master. They would have lost the battle.

She shook her head. "No use in trying to figure it out now," Gudako muttered to herself, shaking off her confusion. She looked hesitant for a moment before resolutely saying, "We need to get out of here first."

"Master?!" Mash was surprised at Gudako's decision.

Gudako hurriedly explained as she started running for the gate. "I trust Zenkichi, Da Vinci-chan and the others to make out of Emiya's reality marble, somehow. What I'm worried about is when they get out, the Lion King and her knights would be in a better state than us and would try to finish us all off. With my command seals, as long as we get out of here, we can all safely retreat."

"Plus, I'm also worried about the people who escaped. The knights would-"

Swoosh!

"Master, get behind me!" Mash cried out, moving quickly, she moved in front of Gudako and blocked the sword strike that would've hit Gudako. The blade clashed against Mash's shield, sending sparks flying.

Gudako stumbled back, her heart pounding in her chest. "Mash, be careful!"

Standing before them was a knight in black armor, even his sword was entirely black, along with a dark blue fur-lined cloak draped over his left side. He has slicked-back black hair and pale skin, a seemingly permanent scowl on his face.

Mash's eyes widened, something deep inside of her was trembling, telling her something.

'My Saint Graph is trembling..?'

Suddenly, the dark knight raised their sword again, ready to strike while she was distracted.

Mash, however, snapped back to reality and used her huge shield as a counterattack, slamming it into the knight's chest and knocking them back, she continued on with the offensive and shield-bashed him once more but he sidestepped and swung his sword to her neck.

The dark knight's sword came dangerously close to Mash's neck, but she managed to twist her body and deflect the blow with her shield at the last moment. "Hyaaa!" with a battle cry, she swung her shield again, aiming for the dark knight's torso. However, with a grunt, he swiftly parried the attack with his sword and kicked the shield, his movements precise and calculated.

Gudako watched the intense exchange between Mash and the dark knight, her mind racing with thoughts of their next move. They were facing a formidable opponent, and it was clear that brute force alone wouldn't be enough to defeat him. So she was prepared to help Mash at the right moment with her mystic code.

As Mash was kicked away to Gudako, leaving her momentarily vulnerable, in a surprising turn of events, the dark knight held his sword from attacking further.

'What?' Gudako looked on, confused.

Mash quickly got her balance and embedded her shield onto the ground, her eyes determined as she stared at the dark knight.

The dark knight's eyes focused on the shield that Mash wielded, his eyes squinted.

"... Are you his descendant?" he spoke, in a emotionless tone of voice.

Mash blinked. "Pardon?"

The dark knight scrutinized her face for a long while, and his eyes widened.

"A homunculus? No, but similar to one. Were you created with the blood of either Lancelot or Galahad?"

Gudako and Mash's eyes widened in shock.

"How did you-" Mash asked.

The dark knight shook his head. "It's easy to guess, if they were a caster or someone who has experience with an Homunculus. And since this isn't a Holy Grail War, my name is Agravain. Pleasure to meet you two."

"Agravain..!" Gudako's eyes widened. She certainly didn't expect the secretary of the King(her Artoria's words) to stand in their way.

From what she heard from Artoria, although he rarely fought on the front lines, he gained the moniker "Agravain who knew no wounds" because would always return uninjured whenever he went to battle, no matter the strength of the opponent; he is a very capable fighter.

Agravain coldly snorted. "No matter. As a Knight of the Roundtable by default of your... strange connection with Galahad, I'll give you a chance." he then pointed his sword at them. "Turn to us, and give up the last master of humanity."

"I refuse!" Mash declared boldly, her voice ringing with determination. "I may have a connection to the Knights of the Round Table, but I am loyal to my Master and to the cause of humanity!"

Gudako stood beside Mash, her resolve firm. "We won't surrender to you, Agravain. We're here to fight for the future of humanity, and we won't back down."

Agravain's expression remained impassive, but there was a flicker of something in his eyes, a hint of... disappointment. "Stubborn to the end, I see. Just like Galahad. Very well."

Suddenly, eight knights in black armor with red visors appeared behind Gudako; all of them lunging at her with killing intent.

"Master!" Mash cried out, turning to help her master. Her eyes widened, quickly turning back and blocked the heavy sword attack from Agravain.

"Good reflexes and strength, however. You're still lacking a bit," Agravain lightly said.

"Hng! Go... away!" Mash grunted, pushing back against Agravain's strength with all her might. Suddenly, she felt her strength increasing by several folds.

"Phantasmal Reinforcement!" Gudako whispered, her voice barely audible amidst the chaos. Her Mystic Code activated, enhancing Mash's physical abilities beyond their normal limits.

With newfound strength coursing through her veins, Mash pushed back against Agravain with unwavering determination.

But, she was too late to go help her master, besieged by many knights in black armor.

It wasn't known to most, but those of the Knights of the Round Table or their prisoners knew something distasteful in his possession. He possesses chains called the Iron Commandments, that are made to bind others and implied to impose specific "rules". The chains can also be used on Enforcement Knights, granting them an effect akin to Mad Enhancement that can be turned on and off at his command.

They were known as Hounds of Agravain, modeled after a "fool who fled the court after slaying his brethren in a wild rage."

Gudako tried her best to escape their clutches, but one of them managed to grab a hold of her head and smashed her face onto the ground, it was only thanks to the mystic code that she wore that her head didn't explode like a watermelon.

Still, the impact sent shockwaves of pain through her skull, leaving her dazed and disoriented. She could taste blood in her mouth, a metallic tang that only added to the chaos of the moment. Through blurry vision, she saw Mash battling fiercely, holding off Agravain and his knights with incredible strength and determination, trying to reach her.

Then, she felt a cold metallic feeling grasping her neck.

'Is this how I'm going to die...?'

Swoosh!

Twhip! Twhip! Twhip! Twhip!

"Ah..!" Gudako gasped as she felt the pressure around her neck suddenly release.

Opening her eyes wider, she saw a flurry of arrows flying across the air towards the knights besieging them. Each arrow found its mark with deadly accuracy, piercing through armor and flesh alike.

In the distance stood a figure, tanned, short black hair and wearing a distinctive green armor. His eyes glowed with a fierce determination as he unleashed a relentless barrage of arrows upon their enemies.

"W-Who..." Gudako stared at the archer in disbelief, who the heck is that?!

"RAAAAUGH!!"

Suddenly, the knight that had suppressed her arose from the ground, startling her. Blood dripped through the two arrows embedded in his armor and body; one from his right shoulder and the other on his head, however, it was as if a demon had possessed him.

"Ah, crap!"

Just as it was about to reach out and grab Gudako, it froze. A red horizontal line appeared across his throat, and his head cleanly slide off.

Gudako stared incredulously.

"Are you okay?" Asked a dark-skinned woman, with a lithe and ripped figure, she wore a hood and a white skull mask over her face.

'An assassin servant?' Gudako subconsciously nodded at her question.

"Master!"

Just as Gudako composed herself and stood up, Mash came running towards her, dropping her shield, and hugged her tight. Tears of relief streamed down Mash's cheeks as she embraced her master, relieved to see her safe and unharmed.

"Senpai, I was so worried!" Mash exclaimed, her voice trembling with emotion.

Gudako returned the hug, feeling the warmth of Mash's presence comforting her amidst the chaos. "I'm okay, Mash. Thanks to you and our... allies," she reassured her kouhai, her voice filled with gratitude.

As they pulled away from the embrace, Gudako glanced around at their surroundings, taking stock of the situation. The dark knight, Agravain, was effortlessly deflecting the arrows coming at him while his rabid knights dealt with dozens of mysterious robbed assassins.

She then turned towards the assassin that saved her and asked. "Thank you. But, who are you people?"

"...Reinforcements." She simply said after a moment of silence.

Both Gudako and Mash sweatdropped.

"Hmph." The assassin stared at them, before disappearing into motes of blue light.

'Are all assassins so anti-social?' Gudako's lips twitched.

Bzzt-

Her eyes widened, as if electricity passed through her body and a familiar voice entered her mind.

"Get... back..."

"Mash, use your Noble Phantasm!" Without any hesitation, she issued an order to Mash, who immediately understood the urgency in Gudako's voice.

"Right away, Master!" Mash responded with determination, quickly summoning forth her Noble Phantasm, Lord Camelot.

As the shimmering barrier of Lord Camelot surrounded them, Gudako felt a surge of magical energy enveloping her, providing a sense of security amidst the chaos of battle.

It was then, a bright blue light blinded everyone's vision.

And an overwhelming magical pressure filled the air, pressuring down almost everyone to their knees.

"Shirou..." A tender and loving voice, resounded. Shocking everyone who heard it.

Peering from behind Mash, Gudako looked to see the Lion King; without her furred cape and armor, wearing only a frilly white sundress. She was cradling Shirou Emiya in her arms and lap, both of them looked completely fine and healthy.

Everyone was captivated by such a sight, a tender moment amidst the chaos and conflict surrounding them.

'What a beautiful smile...' Gudako and the rest thought, staring at the Lion King.

No, at Arturia Pendragon. The once and future King.

.....

Blooper:

"Wait, the king was a woman...?" Gawain stared incredulously.

"You just noticed it now? It had been pretty obvious." Barghest stared at her senior in disbelief.

"He-She, was wearing thick armor!"

"Okay... but the face?"

"I've seen a lot of guys with a pretty face like that."

She rolled her eyes at him. "So, it took seeing her majesty's huge tits for you to finally realize it? Hmph. Men, typical."

"What? No, there had also been some guys whose got huge knockers like that as well." He innocently replied. "I noticed because 'Archer' isn't squirming on the king's lap. Or does he enjoy it...?"

They stared at him wide eyes.

....
