101 Chapter 100: Into the Holy Land

In a place between worlds, where space and time converge, exists a realm known as the "Infinite Nexus." Within this ethereal void, the laws of physics are twisted and the boundaries of reality are malleable. It is a place of endless possibilities, where beings from countless dimensions and universes coexist in a delicate balance.

The Infinite Nexus is a mesmerizing tapestry of swirling colors and cascading nebulae, with tendrils of energy stretching and intertwining in every direction. Floating islands, lush with vibrant flora and fauna, are suspended suspended in the vast expanse. These islands are home to various sentient beings, each with their own unique abilities and characteristics.

Here, space and time become blurred, and the concept of distance loses its meaning. It is possible to traverse vast distances with a single step.

In one of the floating islands, which is filled with beautiful gardens and waterfalls, people could be heard chatting to one another in a outdoor tea house.

"...Why are you doing this?" A melodious tone of voice sounded out, annoyance tinged with curiosity.

Sitting in one of the seats, with numerous chains bounding her and four large screws pierced around her body.

She was Najimi Ajimu, the founder of Hakoniwa Academy and the creator of the Flask Plan. She's also known as Anshin'in to her close friends, self-proclaimed by a certain system.

But to some other who know of her existence, she was a true Goddess and omnipotent being.

"Because it's funny." The one before her let out a sly chuckle, his smoky voice dancing on the air. He is an elderly man with his white hair neatly combed back, giving him a refined and distinguished look. His facial features are weathered by time, with wrinkles that tell tales of numerous experiences and adventures. His eyes are a vibrant shade of amber, often sparkling with a mischievous gleam. They hold a depth of knowledge and understanding, hinting at the vast magical power he possesses. His gaze can be piercing and intense, capable of captivating and intimidating those who look at him.

He dresses in a traditional, slightly tattered crimson robe adorned with golden trimmings. The robe is reminiscent of a combination of medieval and Renaissance styles, giving himan archaic and mystical appearance. He carries himself with a dignified posture, which adds to his air of authority and wisdom.

He was known by many names, but to the world of magecraft, he was the master of Kaleidoscope, Zelretch the Wizard Marshall.

Najimi frowned, her eyes narrowing at his response. "Funny? You find it amusing to toy with the man I love?"

Zelretch snorted, finding amusement in her choice of words. "Love? A being such as yourself could actually feel such an emotion to a mortal? Sorry but, I find that highly unlikely."

Najime's expression hardened, her chains rattling as she leaned forward. The entire place around them began to shook.

"Whatever I feel for him does not concern you, magician. All I want to know is, what is your intention towards him that you used a favor you won from that bet we had. Not only that, but you also went as far as sending a request for my warden and you know that doesn't come cheap, even for beings such as ourselves."

"First off, despite my prowess of the Kaleidoscope, I'm still merely a mortal. Granted, I live far longer than most ordinary man but still. Don't lump me with people such as yourselves, I've had a lot of unpleasant encounters with beings such as yourselves that I've sick of it."

"As for my intention towards him, it's simply curiosity. The man possesses a tremendous amount of potential and power, and his unique abilities intrigue me. I wanted to see how he would fare in a different world, in one of my universe's alternate reality that is, away from the confines of his own dimension."

"You've already seen him in that other world of Humanity fighting against their Gods." Najimi retorted, looking at him in suspicion and doubt.

Zelretch chuckled, remembering that world with fondness. "Ah, yes. I remember that battle quite well. Especially how he used a Noble Phantasm to kill that world's Odin! I can still remember the looks of confusion on Alaya and Gaia's faces, it was truly hilarious."

It wasn't any day he'd see someone do that to a God.

Well, a certain Ally of Justice would but times like those were rare and slightly cliché to see everytime. And that it would almost kill the poor guy when he does it.

"But it's not just that. I'm bringing the boy into that world's time axis because I have a... bad feeling." Zelretch narrowed his eyes, he turned his head to look up at the sky and the swirling colors of the Infinite Nexus. "I sense a disturbance in the threads of fate in that reality, like a dark presence lurking in the shadows. It is a force that threatens to disrupt the delicate balance of that world and beyond."

Najimi's chains rattled with agitation as she absorbed his words. "Are you saying that whatever event is happening in that reality, would get so catastrophic that it would soon spill to other worlds?"

Zelretch grimly nodded.

*Boom*

The whole surrounding shook with greater intensity, the cups and table before them disintegrated into ashes as Najimi's expression darkened.

She glared at the unperturbed old man.

"Old man, for your sake, Zenkichi succeeds."

Zelretch let out a sigh and nodded. "I hope so as well, Anshin'in."

"Don't call me that, only my friends call me that!"

"Oya? I thought we were friends?"

"Fuck off!"

Najimi clicked her tongue and stopped releasing her aura. "And what of the request for my warden? Why involve that... thing in this?"

Zelretch's eyes twinkled mischievously as he leaned back in his seat. "Well, the boy needs some form of reward for doing such a tedious task after all. I might be a troll and a slave driver, but I'm not heartless. Besides, he might find the experience quite thrilling."

Najimi sighed, realizing that arguing with Zelretch was futile. "Fine, do as you wish. But remember, if anything happens to him, I won't hesitate to make you regret it."

Zelretch grinned and raised his cup, as if toasting to her threat. "Oh, I wouldn't expect anything less from you, my dear Anshin'in. Let's just hope for everyone's sake that this little experiment goes according to plan."

As the two continued their conversation, the air around them seemed to shimmer with anticipation. In the Infinite Nexus, where endless possibilities collided, a new chapter was about to unfold, with Najimi Ajimu, Zelretch the Wizard Marshall, and the unsuspecting Zenkichi Hitoyoshi at its center.

....

Holy Land of Jerusalem, 1273 AD. The end of the Ninth Crusade, after the kingdom of Jerusalem was wiped from the map.

The sun hung high in the sky, its rays casting an intense heat upon the once luscious land now turned into a vast desert. Without a soul or building in sight, there was no life to be seen.

In the midst of the scorching hot desert, a figure emerged. Zenkichi Hitoyoshi, clad in his familiar school uniform, stood amidst the harsh environment, his eyes scanning the desolate landscape.

"Why am I here?" Zenkichi mumbled to himself, confusion and frustration evident in his voice. "Wasn't I summoned? Where's my master? Hello?!"

He called out, his voice echoing into the emptiness.

Zenkichi raised his arms in disbelief, "What the hell! Hey system, Q&A. I wanna know where am I and where's my summoner."

[Answer: User Zenkichi Hitoyoshi, you have been transported to the Holy Land of Jerusalem in the year 1273 AD. As for your summoner, due to some technical issues, your master is currently hundreds of miles north east of your current location.]

"Jerusalem? Wait, when I played FGO what singularity was this place..." Zenkichi frowned, rubbing his chin in deep thought.

"Zenkichi, where are we?" A familiar casual tone of voice sounded out from behind him.

Zenkichi is a man who went through an apocalypse, fought a God and won, and had sex with women. He was tough a guy.

So he certainly did not jump and scream. Nope.

"What the–! Brunhilde? What are you doing here? Wait, how are you even here?!"

Standing before him was Brunhilde, clad in her teacher's attire, and looking around her surroundings with curiosity.

"I don't know. One second I was outside the classroom, talking to you, when that distortion of space and time somehow swallowed me as well. Even though I was quite far from you... interesting... Is it because of our bond, Völundr?" She muttered, looking completely composed despite having travelled into some other world.

"... You're really calm about all this."

"This isn't my first rodeo, hon." Brunhilde casually waved her hand, walking up to her Einherjar.

"Neither is it mine as well." Zenkichi chuckled and inwardly checked out his status.

"Berserker? Why am I a Berserker?" Zenkichi said aloud, confused about his class. Was his legend about him being crazy? Actually, why does he have a Heroic Spirit Parameters? He isn't even in the Throne of Heroes!

Also, why was his first Noble Phantasm shortened? Et tu, system-kun?

"Berserker?"

"Ah, right. Brunhilde let me fill you on some stuff..."

Just as Zenkichi was explaining to Brunhilde the basic knowledge of the world they were, sounds of hooves and heavy footsteps was heard.

They turned towards the direction of where dusty clouds were gathering and saw a purple cladded knight leading a group of large intimidating white knights towards them.
