The king looked at his eldest son and sighed wearily. Before he could answer, there was a knock on the door. The king glanced at the door. "Enter."
The door to the study opened, and Cassius, Killian's younger brother and the second prince of the kingdom of Arathorn, entered the room. He greeted his father and brother with a smile, unaware of the tension in the room.
"Hello, Father. Hello, Big Brother. What's happening?" he asked, but his cheerful tone faded as he caught sight of his father's troubled expression. "Is everything all right?" he asked with concern.
The king glanced at both his sons before speaking, "No. Something happened last night."
Killian's body stiffened slightly, and he couldn't help but wonder if it was related to him. No matter what he did, he couldn't remember what he had done after losing control over his body. He tried to inquire his devil, but that fellow wasn't responding.
