A terrifying vision

"Killian!"

My voice tore through the air, raw and filled with panic. I reached out, my fingers grasping at the air, desperate to touch him, to save him, to hold him close.

But my fingers met only empty air.

My body lurched forward, tumbling over the edge of the boat. I felt the chill of the water engulf me, the world spinning into a dizzying vortex of cold and fear. Then, a strong hand grasped my wrist, pulling me back onto the boat with a force that left me gasping for air.

My eyes snapped open, blurry and red-rimmed, only to find Killian staring at me, his expression a mixture of concern and confusion. He was pulling me towards him, placing a comforting hand on my back.

"Amelia, what are you doing?" he asked, his voice laced with worry. "Are you alright? You almost fell overboard!"
