5 Is it really you?

"Say I am not wasting time folllowing you here."

"I knowhow eager you are to be withyour beloved angel. But you need to hear what I have to say."Cause it affects both you and Muriel. If he is who he seems to be."

"What do you mean?"

"Do you remember the day you lost Muriel?"

He was forced to pay attention to what Lucas has to say.

"I saw that his body was taken to the holy land. I had suspected before that the archangel was really dead."

"Are you saying that Muriel's body has not completely disappeared yet? In that case, who is the person with his face downstairs?"

"That's also what I want to know." Lucas fell in deep thought. "We both know how cunning your father is. It may just be one of his trick, to drag you back to hell to be punished for disobeying him."

Devon fell for a moment in thought. Yes, he could doubt everything except Uriel. So it can indeed be used against him. And it is not a secret how deep his feelings for Muriel are. Enough for him to betray his own father. And deny his own origin.

"You have to be careful. It may just be a trap your father laid out for you. And you're slipping faster than you can grasp the situation."

"I don't think Muriel will ever have to prove himself infront of anyone."

A blinding light appeared following the appearance of Archangel Gabriel. The known messenger of God.

Devon turned around and Lucas was no longer by his side.

When he looked, he immediately saw Lucas hiding under the study table. He seemed bothered by the blinding presense of the messenger angel.

" What do you want to convey, Angel of God?'

"Your eyes see right. The person you have held just now is none other than the archangel Muriel himself."

He glared at Lucas. Who remained hiding under the wide table. He almost believed that the Muriel downstairs was a mirage. If it had been a minute later, his suspiscion might have 'caused fatality.

"What your friend said just now is also true. It is true that Uriel's body is on holy ground."

"Are you kidding me? How will Muriel be two person? I saw him die infront of me. If you say his angel body is gone, I will still believe that he was resurrected and born as a human."

The messenger smilled patiently at him.

"Have you forgotten that God is omnipotent? He created everything. Including your father who fought against him. It would be easy for him to separate Muriel's spirit to have it heal here on earth. But you have to take care of him until the day he can return to his body. Or else, he's doomed to be banished for eternity."

"God entrusted me with such a thing? That's new." He said sarcastically. " I remember him, holding me on a high mountain away from the holy land. Just because he was worried that I'd make trouble."

Lucas laughed in a cold manner. But kept his head in hiding.

"God must have lost it . Asking a demon prince to protect an angels spirit." Lucas was surprised by the sudden appearance of angel Gabriel infront of him.

He banished instantly. And found himself hanging on one part of the high ceiling of the balcony room.

Devon can't help but shake his head upon hearing Angel Gabriels mischievous laugh.

If anyone can see an angel and a demon palying around as these two are doing. The whole religious body will have their eyeballs popping out lilke popcorn.

"May I remind you that this is not an easy task." Gabriel brought back his composure.

" As you know, you're father hates Muriel more than you. For he is the root of your betrayal to your race. He will do everything he can to end Muriel's life. That is why, God made a descision to put him under your care. He believes that only you can prevent your father from killing Muriel. Since you stood up to him once in that war."

"Do you really trust me that much? What if I already made up my mind to help my father?"

Lucas raised an eyebrow upon his teasing.

"We both know that you'd rather perish in your father's hand than betray the person you cherish the most." Gabriel wittyly answered.

"Even a demon prince like you knows how to nurture love like your own life. I think that's enough to trust you with such a critical task. And I trust God's will. If He says that you're good, then I believe you are."

Azalel laughed mockingly.

"What makes you think that go along with those stupid plan? I can just take Muriel and make him mine if I want to-"

"Like I said, if he isn't able to return safely to his body. Not only his angelic skin but also his spiritual body here on earth will both perish. Do not forget, that he is a spiritual being that God created. And whatever came from him shall come back to him."

Azalel angrily waved his hand throwing his demonic aura. Causing for all the things to blow or be thrown in different directions.

Luckily, Lucas was quick enough to make the room soundless.

So that noone downstairs in the ballroom would hear the smashing or breaking of things. As the prince of hell is having one of his tantrums.

"How dare you tell me what to do. And then ask me to give up on him? Is that what you so-called good guys do?" he smugged. "You hipocrites!"

Lucas slowly bit his lower lip.

Azalel's father is probably laughing hard right now from down under. Hearing what his spoiled son is saying right at this moment.

"I will never play your stupid game." Azalel was so enraged that his skin started to shed. Revealing his true nature. The monster he had always been.

" Or have you forgotten? I did betray my father once. I don't listen to anyone beside myself. Not then, and definitely not now." He's voice growled in every wall.

"Then, tell me. Are you prepared to loose him to your father? And this time, for all eternity."

Like a bucket of icy-cold water. Gabriel's words began to extinguish Azalel's anger. Calming him back to his human form.

A flashback of him holding Muriel in his arm lifeless. Almost drove him out of insanity. He waned to kill everyone downstairs to relieve his anger.

Then again, an image of Muriel's spirit body while dancing with him a moment ago urged him to think twice.

"It seems that you have already made up your mind." Gabriel confirmed. " I trust that you will keep your end of the promise." He disappeared in thin air while leaving those words.

A moment of silence swallowed the room. Everything returned to normal as Gabriel used his light to fix things as he left.

Azalel walked to the near sofa and laid his back there. Smoothing his forehead.

"Aren't you planning on coming down in here? Or you want someone to see you hanging there like a posessed person?"

On that note. Lucas flipped himself back to the ground.

"I should get the cleaners fired. There's too much dust accumulating in there." He brushed himself with both hands. Hoping it will rid himself of the humiliation earlier.

That angel had the guts to tease the devil. When he was supposed to be the one good at it.

"So, do you plan to do their bidding?"

"You know I don't like being chained. More than I already am."

"Then what are you planning to do?"

"I haven't thought of it yet. But for now, I can't let my father get his way with Muriel. He will have to go through me first."

"I heard humans do stupid things for Love. But this is the first time I'm hearing a Devil prince stupidly acting out of love. On second thought. The whole thing is just crazy and unbelievable."

Azalel did not give a damn on Lucas's remarks.

He just went up to the end of the glass balcony. And continued staring at the ballroom.

Urie is now busy minggling with his friends. Though he can sense that the latter's eyes seeks out for something. On that note, he can't help but smile to himself.
