13 I will protect you

Axel woke up from a dream that seemed like an eternal nightmare for him.

Having lost Muriel was his greatest torment then. And his greatest fear now.

Why is loving this angel so hard to do anyway?

Even after so many decades. Their star-cross distance haven't shortened a bit.

All because he was the son of the devil.

"Is it that time again?" Lucas was driving the car. Where he slept the whole time.

Axel replied with a shrug.

"You can't change what happened in the past. But you can do better this time. I will help you with everything."

He smiled at Lucas's words.

Even if they don't say it. Their brotherhood can surpass their qualities as demons. Loyalty was never a question."

"I'll protect you and your angel the best way I can. That's the only way I know how to repay your kindness."

"Tell me, since when have I been kind to anyone?" Axel tried humoring his friend.

"You may not notice. But you have always been kind. It is your father who brings out the dark side in you. And you must not let him take control in any way." At that moment Lucas seemed like the father he always wanted. The one who's got his back. And gives him good advice. Just an ordinary one. And not the Devil king.

"I'll bear that in my mind." he said sincerely thanking Lucas.

He also has Uriel to thank. His path would have been his father's. If he had not met the angel.

"My lord." A group of female spirits entered the hall. Where Lucifer settled in an old castle. Deep in an isolated forest.

They were known as the seven sisters of the underworld. They possess the powers to lure people to feel all that is negative. And in the end devour them in the midst of darkness. One can never escape them as they were made to destroy humanity that God created.

"How is it going with our plans?" Lucifer asked but never looked back.

"We have found the perfect candidate. To create a wedge between Muriel and your son."

"Is that so?," Lucifer turned to face the once that were known as the pleiades. Or the seven sisters of taurus. Daughter's of Atlas that killed themselves. Upon knowing the fate of their father . " Very well, you shall be rewarded greatly as you accomplish this task."

The ladies grinned in a most wicked manner. Then left as a dark smoke fading into air.

Urie took a very deep breath before entering his parents house. It's been a long time since he last been there.

His parents greatly object him enterring the show-business industry. They wanted him to get married then. And have his own family. Upon knowing that he's not really attracted to girls.

He was forced out of the house when he defied their wishes. He didn't want to lie to himself. Yes, he had always dreamed of acting. But most of all, he wanted to be the one deciding his own life. As much as he loved his parents, he can never grant their wishes and be lonely for the rest of his life.

"Urie," his sister Elly came rushing as soon as he recognized him. "I'm glad you came back. We really missed you." She said while hugging Urie.

"Where's Mom and Dad? And how's Orith?" Talking about his younger brother.

Elly drew a sad face. She seemed bothered about something.

"He's not doing pretty good lately."

"What do you mean?"

Elly was just about to tell him something . When he noticed their Father standing on the front porch..

"What are you doing here? Didn't your Mom and I tell you? You will not be welcome if you ever disgrace our name like you did?"

"Dad I-"

"Get out! Do what makes you feel good. Kissing and hugging guys like a filthy slut that you are."

"Dad." Elly shouted.

Urie felt his tears flow freely. It seems that he is still not welcome.

He started to walk back to his car.

"That's right. Run like you always did. And never come back. You're not needed here." he next heard the slamming of the front-door.

"Don't mind what he said. He's just angry. But he never meant to say those words."

"I know what he thinks about me, Elly. He's disgusted having a son like me. He hates me for not being the person that he wanted me to be." Urie shrugged the tears off his already damp face. "Maybe it's better that I never came."

"Aren't you worried about Orith?"

That's when he remembered that Elly was just about to tell him something.

"What happened to him?"

Urie was going around Orith's school looking for his brother. When one of his classmates told him that he would be in a nearby computer shop.

It seems that his brother always tends to cut classes. And waste his time playing games. If not, he goes with bad students doing God knows what.

Orith was a regular on that computer shop where his classmate told Urie to go. And found him easily.

He was just about to come up to his brother. When a group of students started teasing Orith.

"Aren't you the brother of that gay artist on tv?"

Said one of the student standing behind his brother's seat. "I bet, you're just like your brother. Do you want me to kiss you or something?"

Orith immediately stood up. And sparred eyes with the bully.

"You're right. We're actually the same."

The gang of bully laughed at Orith's remark.

"We both cringe at the thought of a worm crawling our skins." a grin crossed Oriths face. As he left the gang leader speechless. It's fist came flying at his brother's face. That he almost screamed.

But then, A familiar figure appeared in between and stopped the assault from happening.

Axel? What is this guy doing here anyway?

He hurriedly came to Orith's rescue.

"Are you alright?" Urie checked his little brother.

"I'm fine." Orith wouldn't even look at him.

"Look who it is. The gay brother and his boyfriend to the rescue."

He felt Orith's rage exceed its limit. And was coming to punch the bully that Axel was holding. That's when Axel send the bully flying to one side as he punched the kid.

Axel just turned to the other gang members. And as though they we're very scared of what they saw. They all came rushing out screaming 'monster'.
