32 Two ways to activate the Teleportation Magic Array (1)

A month passed again, and the markings on the wall were numerous compared to before. Lucas was still sitting in the same position, but on his side was the stack of papers, and before him were also organized papers.

He was still studying the teleportation magic array and how they worked.

It took too much time since it included some formulas almost related to mathematics to point to the precise coordination between two teleportation locations. It was also advised to avoid messing up the coordination, or the teleportation magic array would randomly send you near the mistaken coordination.

You need to be precise and careful when it comes to activating the teleportation magic array.

The activation was not the only difficult part but also the preparation, especially drawing the teleportation magic array.

There must not be a single flaw, or else the teleportation magic array would not activate. Moreover, there were also sizes of teleportation magic arrays. The small size would be the single-person teleportation magic array before him.

The larger size should be similar to the Goddess' teleportation magic array.

The teleportation magic array's outline was so complex that even every line represented calculations and meaning. Thankfully though, such complex calculations could be solved with geometry.

Lucas has excelled in his academics, earning him the right to be granted free tuition in his private school. Therefore, studying teleportation magic arrays wasn't difficult for him.

He showed progress after a month passed, but then again was faced with a bottleneck. However, with the resources he had, although there were too many papers to organize and look for something to break through, it wasn't difficult for him to bypass them.

All he needed was time.

In the month's time, the Devil never visited him, so he had a peaceful life in the cage. For someone to live such a lifestyle Lucas currently had – studying and meditating – would be boring to others and might be deranged, but Lucas was built differently.

He even thought the time was so little that he had to reduce his sleeping schedule.

He also discovered that even reducing his sleeping schedule, which resulted in fatigue, meditating – breathing the Aether – reinvigorated him.

It came as a shock, but then again, it made sense. Since he could also satiate his hunger and thirst, why do the same for lack of sleep and fatigue?

Lucas placed the paper he currently read to his side – the stack of papers – and grabbed another one to the organized papers before him.

There were a total of five papers arranged side by side neatly, and they were also organized by Lucas based on their contents.

Lucas progressed fast and now had decided to move on toward the precondition before activating the teleportation magic array.

There were three steps for activating the teleportation magic array: Outlining the teleportation magic array through sharp objects, preparing the materials to activate it, such as blood for sacrifice and the Aether for supplying the activation process, and lastly, setting the precise coordination where to teleport.

Lucas was currently studying the second step since he focused on the first step. After all, it didn't need an excellent painter to carve the circle, but it required precision and calculations to perfect it.

He also glimpsed the third step and discovered they were almost the same as the first step. Only that, they leaned on the calculations of the coordinations between their current teleportation magic array's location to the other.

This was where the second step stepped in. After all, the longer the distance between two teleportation magic arrays, the higher the consumption of Aether to supply continuously until both locations were connected to each other.

Lucas was already aware of the two steps, narrowly, and only now he realized the sacrificial materials to provide.

'Does that mean If I wanted to teleport between worlds, I need to have the blood of the being who touched the Heaven realm?'

Heaven realm, a realm where a being had four to six cores. The six cores of heaven's realm being was already considered the peak. The name was inspired by the grade of the core: Earth core has one to three cores, and Heaven core has four to six cores.

An Archdevil has three cores, which means the peak of the Earth's realm.

Lucas was in despair, realizing he couldn't teleport between worlds with a teleportation magic array unless he had the blood of the heavenly realm.

The Aether consumption was also the same; it needed to have the quality and quantity of a Heavenly Realm being's Aether to sustain the teleportation process and connect both two teleportation magic arrays of different worlds.

Lucas perceived the world collapsed, and it took him some time to regain his clarity.

"No, there should be another way."

Lucas was getting hasty and didn't even mind his actions, causing the paper to clutter. His eyes darted everywhere, reading all the contents even though he passed between words. He was like an avid reader of wuxia novels, skimming through phrases, knowing they could still keep up.

Finally, his vision recorded content that shocked him. Of course, it was still related to the teleportation magic array.

The teleportation magic array could be used two ways: to teleport to another teleportation magic array and to teleport the person in another teleportation magic array to your teleportation magic array.

Both were opposite to each other, but their activation was slightly different.

The person who sets his teleportation magic array to another with an aim to teleport the person standing inside the teleportation magic array to their teleportation magic array has to provide their own materials and Aether for sustaining the activation process.

It might be a little difficult to comprehend, but to understand it… the biggest example would be the Goddess's action of summoning the students towards her teleportation magic array.

It was like a ritual to summon a being from another place toward yours.

Therefore, Lucas was shocked to realize he could be teleported to another world without providing the materials and Aether to activate the teleportation magic array. But what made his heart palpitate the most was…

I apologize for not updating yesterday. I was studying and updated my other novel, and was then feel tired to write. I didn't want to nonsensely write a chapter just to publish, so there was no chapters yesterday.

I really am sorry for it.
