Currently Max was sitting in a hotel room and sipping coffee leisurely.
During this period of time he has already adapted to this new world. And just yesterday Max received half a million dollars as compensation money after Lawyer Joe sued Clark. Although Max had to give a hundred thousand dollars to Lawyer Joe as his share, the rest of the money was still enough for him as a starting capital in this new world.
As for Clark, he has already been fired by his Detective group and is currently under strict investigation.

It took a few seconds for Max to understand that it was the legendary system that came along with ever traverser in the novels.
"System? Is this thing even real? But then again I have already come to another world, what if there is one more system? "
After getting so many shocks in the recent period of time , Max handled this thing surprisingly very easily.
After some probing around, Max discovered that the system didn't have any intelligence of it's own. It simply had three functions.
1. Personal property panel
2. Mission board
3. Rewards
Currently only the personal property panel and the reward column were lit up while the Mission column was grey.
"Aahh.. It must be the newbie gift package."
Thinking of this, Max mentally clicked on the reward column and a luxurious gift bag came into view. Max also felt some anticipation in his heart. After all getting a system one day and reaching the peak of life with its help, who hasn't dreamed of it.
Finally Max got his dream fulfilled and got his very own system. Soon with a bang the gift bag opened up.

After opening the gift box, Max observed the rewards for a while and decided to accept the rewards.

After seeing this Max understood his current situation. But to understand the different attributes and skills more deeply Max clicked on them mentally and another window opened.

First of all Max decided to max out his intelligence . Since he has already decided to become a detective naturally he can't do without intelligence stat.
And strength is also necessary as fighting is pretty normal in this field just like what happened to the original Max.
Soon Max felt his body changing along with the influx of a gentle energy. And soon his property panel looked like this.

After Max tried out his new skills and increased stats, coupled with all the stress Max felt tired and decided to sleep.

After getting fresh and having his breakfast Max decided to visit the Police station first.
Rawa was a very big city. It was divided into 21 districts. Max was currently in the West block of the 5th district .
After half an hour of taking a taxi , Max reached his destination.

By the time he returned back to the hotel, it was already evening. Thus Max decided to take a rest today.
While lying on the soft mattress, Max once again thought about his future plans.
" Hey , this is really wonderful. Suddenly I get reborn, but unfortunately in the body of a death row prisoner. Then after a lot of twists and turns I am finally free, have money and also got a mysterious Super Detective system . It's been really eventful these past few days. "
