Max Detective Agency

This was the place Max bought with his compensation money and got it renovated. It was a three story building with the office on the second floor and the residence on the third floor.Meanwhile Max opened a cafe with his remaining money on the first floor and hired two employees to take care of it.

Surprisingly the business had been pretty good in the cafe since the past few days. Although the business of the agency itself wasn't going good yet, Max believed that it will also be a hit sooner or later. After all he was still just an ordinary detective . Once he solves a few more cases and becomes a bronze level detective, the number of case will naturally increase. In this way it won't take long to become a silver, then gold, then Platinum and ultimately a Diamond level detective.

It is worth mentioning that there is a Detective Association in this world that presides over all the matters related to detectives. After these few days Max has also learned about a few differences this world has compared to his previous world. First of all there is no country in this world, only different cities whose size and population can be compared to medium size countries from his last life.

The second is the difference in the status of the detectives. In this world, detectives have a very distinguished status, even higher than police. In fact most of the cases are solved by detectives, instead of police except some clear cases in which not much investigation is required. The police in this world are only responsible for catching the criminals and things like manpower, searching, forensics, etc. Meanwhile the reasoning part is left to the detectives.

After a detective solves a case successfully, the police department sends a detailed report of the case to the Detective Association which further analyses the difficulty and importance of the case. Then it gives that detective suitable case solving fee and detective points. These points are used by the detectives to rise in rank which are - bronze , silver, gold, platinum and diamond. The higher the level , the more benefits you receive. And naturally you will be able to charge more for your services.

Although Max was only a newbie detective right now without any rank but he had full confidence in himself. What's more, he still had the Super Detective system. As long as he solves more cases, he will get more rewards and his case solving abilities will also increase. This will be virtuous circle.

After the renovation of the building was over , Max simply hired a professional company to help him buy and fully furnish the office and his residence on second and third floor respectively.

" Although it was pretty costly and took almost all my compensation money , but at least I have a place to call home in this foreign world. Now I don't have to worry about setting down anymore. "

For the next two months Max didn't receive any good case. In fact he didn't receive many cases at all. Even the few he received were mostly about finding a cat, investigating their wife or husband's extramarital affairs and so on.

Even when Max settled the completion of these cases at the end, the maximum rating he got was a C or D rating. And in the system, only if your rating is S level or above S level will you receive a skill as reward. As for those missions whose ranking is below S level , one only gets lottery points.

The lady said trying to start the conversation.

Next Max led her to the sofas and both of them sat opposite each other.

"Yes he is the one. Then do you know his wife? "
