Chapter 1: The New Beginning

Shikamaru Nara glanced at his watch and saw that the clock was slowly turning toward the number 12 pm.

He wore a satisfied expression, as the assignment Gin had given to him today was only 10 seconds away. And now he looked at his watch like an office worker waiting for his time to come home so he could go home.

When his watch showed the time was exactly at 12 pm, Shikamaru stood up from his seat and started walking towards the table next to him.
