COMPLETELY CONFUSED

Ten minutes later, I am standing in front of a door, with a name 'Okenwood' write on the door. Behind this door, I know my family is here. My mom, dad, and my sister are waiting for me.

'your family is the one who done this.' ...his word still linger in my ears, confusion wrapped me in my own though... What if this is a crime? done by... my family? but how? and why would they do that?

" Ms. Okenwood, please follow me" I been snapped out of my thought. A doctor with a white uniform staring at me with calm, worrying eyes.

I follow behind the doctor, my heartbeat fasten, my pulse jittered. I pushed the door open, three beds greeted me as my family came to my sight.

Relieve flushed through me as I knew my family are doing OK. Then I turn back to the doctor and that's the first time I have a clear view of him.

Muscular man in white, clean uniform, long eye lashes and round glasses. For a minute I star straight into mystery eyes of the doctor. He seem not to spot me stared at him. When he excuse himself and move to the door, That's when I been snapped out of my thought again.

I sit down in the visitor chair watching my family peacefully sleep. I just realized that last night I barely sleep because of preparing myself for the first day as a detective.

My phone start ringing in my bag, I press the ACCEPT button and held it close to my ear. Unfamiliar voice reached my ear. "Mrs. Ravena please be at the station as soon as possible" I gingerly response "Now I'm at a hospital, I'll be there soon. Is there an emergency case?" That's the notice for a detective when there's a case.

I hurrily walk toward the hospital front gate near the reception. I push the gates open and run out of the hospital, then I held a nearby cap to get to the station ASAP.

I clambered out of the cap, hand the driver cash and run down to the door.

A line of detective greeted my vision, "please get ready in 5 minutes" the captain team inform us, especially me. So I run to settle up my things and start changing into my new uniform.

A few minutes later, three police van hurrily move on the three-lanes road. I read the case Information while shot a sideway glance out of the window. A peaceful sky with line of trees passing us all the way to the crime spot.

Finally the van pulled in to a stop in front of the particular two story building, I haven't finished reading the information so I don't know what can I do, I'm a now detective so I can just let the well-experienced detective to settle things right.

I grabbed my gun, tools box and coat from the passengers seat. And then I stepped out on the hard, cold night floor. It's already three p.m. and we have an emergency case. All detectives run down to the spot where the crime is located.

"team A look upstairs, team B guard the outter building team C follow me and team D, first floor."

after the captain finished the ordered, all the detective formed up to teams and they start their work.

I follow my team to the first floor of the building and push the door open, and to my expectation, it was locked. I searched for my unlocking tools and insert it inside. Minutes later there was a soft click and the door swung open.

We split up into pairs and start searching all the place with our guns point to all directions in case the crimetee will done harm to us.

Then there was a scream, a horrible one that send chill down my spine. I look back just to see my teammates look so confused too. Thay are like me, confusing.

"RUN OUT SIDE!!" captain's voice echo reached my ears, then there was thundering footsteps of detectives running out of the building.

BAAAAMM!!

The building scattered down in front of us. There's nothing left that could tell us it was a building, the captain is checking on if we lose someone but fortunately all marks checked except...

"WHERE IS LIANA?!" Liana Crewfret is also a new detective, like me, we got the confrontation together. But now she is missing. Soft whispers emerge from the detective team, captain is now speaking to the well experienced detective as new detectives waiting for their order.

I stood still on the spot, my sweats form on my temple, cold night air caressing my cheeks didn't ease my worry a bit. What if bad things happen to Liana? I push the bad thoughts away and return my in divides attention to my team where our captain is planning .

" NOW THAT LIANA IS MISSING, I WANT SOMEONE TO GO FIND HER AROUND" the captain order new detective as someone stepped forward to help find Liana, I am included.

I walk round the place where it had been a building, before the time bomb exploded. I found no sign of my friend other detectives also finding Liana, they all ate in the same state as me. Want to help our friend, Liana is good with everyone since she is a detective.

Then there is someone's voice " I found her!" All the detectives is running to the spot where they here the voice from our new detective.

I just arrived to see that detectives are standing still in their spot, no one dare to move even an inch.

There on the floor is where we find Liana's body lying flatly, she's dead.
