Chapter 2: Life of a Mortal

It's been 2 o'clock at the morning, Metria and Ra was heading in Liana's home.

"Ssshhh! Quiet Ra. I don't want to interfere that brat's sleep." whispered Metria.

They headed into Liana's bedroom and settled their things. With the body of a girl Metria felt very tired... until he fell asleep.

*Sun rises

Metria woke up. He saw Ra staring at the beautiful sunrise with a smile on his face.

"You really adore your creation huh?" Metria grins.

"Yes. Just like you creator, I also love my creations." Ra replied.

"How about the Realm of the Gods? Is the World Tree still standing firm at Alterra?"

"I haven't visited that realm yet. Since the incident where you are betrayed by the other gods, I can't stomach to see their faces." Ra said fiercely. "How shameless they are for desecrating you my lord!"

"Ra, not even I, am perfect," Metria replied. "I also lack the strength. I do trust all of you the most. But at the end, the fruit is betrayal."

Before all living things was created, there is a vast energy in the cosmos that causes the existence of the Primordial Entity, he was then called 'Metria'.

Through time, he felt sadness, he needs beings that will accompany him. He created the lesser beings.

*Heading into school

"Wow Ra! Err I mean Ralph, you looks good as a mortal!"

"Metr- Li-Liana! Is it okay to leave the brat alone at home?" Ra worriedly ask.

"Base on Liana's memories, she just left Leo with foods and some reminder. That kid was smart and cheerful! He knows how to handle himself." Metria replied with confidence.

As they pass through the gate of the school they heard the students gossiping.

"My! What a hottie! It's princess and she's with a hot guy!"

"Just ignore them Ra-lph." said Metria.

"Oh hey girl! Who's this hottie you got'er?" Charlotte's tease. "Is he your guy?" Charlotte grins pointing Liana's cheeks.

"Don't touch!" Ra grabs Charlotte's hand away from Liana's face.

"Oh! So he's really your guy" said Charlotte.

*Ra Blushes

"H-hey why are you blushing R-ralph!?" Metria says with a broken tone.

And so the classes started, it is a whole school day filled with introductions for Ra. Within that day a rumor that Liana and Ralph was a couple spread.

*Went back home

"I'm home Leo!"

"Huh?!! Big Sis there's a guy behind you!" Leo screamed

"Relax! He's my friend, Ralph. He will stay in our place for a while. Be nice with him okay?" Liana smiled.

Ralph went inside and Leo started to in interview him about few things. The child was really fascinated with the looks of the god in front of him.

"Mister are you an angel?" Leo asks.

"I'm a god." Ralph replied

A burst of laughter soon echoed within the house. Leo cannot stop laughing.

"Mister you are kidding. The only God that I know was Metria." says Leo.

Liana and Ralph was shocked.

"What did you say?"
