Chapter 5

After paying the entrance fee and entering the town, the Sylveria's group and Nezu will then part ways.

"Young man take this" Captain Williams throws a pouch that seems to be filled with coins. "That will be our pay for your service, till we meet again" not even giving Nezu a chance to react, they continued their journey in the deeper parts of the town.

Looking at the pouch that seemed to be full of coins, Nezu open it and notice it's all gold coins, 'Better ask someone about the currency in this world, but I guess a gold coin seems a lot.' since Nezu was dirt poor, he was happy receiving so much gold.

'Now that I have some money, I need to equip myself and look for a good sword' Nezu then ask the nearby stalls where to find a blacksmith shop.

Looking at the sword like emblem that hanging in the door, Nezu enter it while quietly looking around the store.

Inside the store was full of Swords, Spears, Daggers, Bows, Shields, etc. and also armors. The store was quite empty and only a hammer striking metal sounds can be heard.

Nezu first check the Sword Racks area since he really needs a good one to handle his Destruction Element.

There are so many different kind of swords here, a broadsword, a sword with shark-teeth like blade. a curve sword, double-edged sword.

Noticing in a corner were swords was leaning in the walls and seems they were defects or incomplete ones since they're full of dust and rust already. But within this bunch of reject goods, a Black Sheath caught Nezu's attention, picking it up he finds out that it was kinda heavy, after blowing the dust he then grasp the slim hilt and slowly unsheathed it with anticipation and expectation. Fully unsheating the sword, Nezu filled with excitement, looking at the fully black slim single-edge blade with a sharp point.

'Just what I expected it's a Katana' Nezu like this kind of swords and he once owned one when he was still on Earth.

Taking a stance, Nezu grip the Katana forward with both hands, moving the sword over his head, Nezu quickly swings it down and repeat it a multiple times. After familiarizing with the sword, Next nodded with satisfaction and the try to use his Destruction Element slowly in the sword.

Nezu can control the Destruction Element to an extent now since his body was being strengthen by it everyday. Before, Nezu can control about 10% of the Destruction Element in his body without being severely injured and only gain fatigue and a sore body and that was when he's only been in this world for a few hours. Now with days of strengthening and practice he can now control about 80% of the destruction element, and in a few weeks he can fully control his Destruction Element and just continuously strengthen his body with it so he can use his Destruction Element with no side effects. (A/N: Even though he can control 100% of the destruction element, his body still can't handle it so he still need time so his element can strengthen his body.)

Nezu carefully coated the sword with Destruction Element, 10%...30%...50%....shock by the outcome Nezu continued to coat it to check if it can handle his current control of Destruction Element.

The sword shone brightly like stars in the night sky and a sharp like aura filled the store. Noticing the pressure that was appearing in his store, the blacksmith, Argano suddenly stop his work and look at the kid that was gripping the sword that his father brought back when he travels around the kingdom.

80% ...the sword was filled with aura of destruction and the pressure in the place becomes more heavy, the blacksmith who was still staring at Nezu almost drops to the ground by the sudden increase of pressure.

"Oi brat stop it now or you'll break my store" shouted Argano when he notice his shop was shaking and look likes it will collapse anytime soon.

Hearing the shout, Nezu stop his actions and took a deep breath, 'What a great sword, I'm really lucky to find such treasure that can handle my Destruction Element." Even though it was only 80%, he was still extremely satisfied since that was just his current limit, for now. 'And I think it can still handle more than 80% of my Destruction Element' checking the sword that was still on perfect form with no visible damage, Nezu nodded his head and smile in satisfaction about the treasure he found.

Sheating the sword back, Nezu then face the angry blacksmith, "Hehe sorry about that, I was just checking this sword and got carried away" said Nezu with an embarrassed smile while scratching his head.

With a sigh, Argano look at this strange looking young man while still gripping the sword that no one wants since his father brings it back. The people in this town didn't really know what this sword was and looking that it only have one-edge and so thin that it may break after a few swings they lost interest in it. When his father died no one takes care of the sword and was just left behind in a dusty corner along with the failed goods.

"So how much this sword's cost and can you recommend some good light leather armor?" Nezu ask while wiping the excess dust left in the Sheath.

Since the sword is getting dust anyways he didn't think much about selling it and just casually said, "You can have it for 15 gold and for a good and great quality leather armor it will cost 25 gold." said Argano and pick up a leather armor that was in the Armor Rack area and throws it towards Nezu.

Catching the leather armor and checking it, Nezu nodded in satisfaction and quickly wears it.

"Do you have any sword strap here?" Nezu ask while giving the blacksmith 40 gold.

In a good mood, Argano went to the counter and get a sword strap while said with a smile, "Since you make a big purchase today, I'll just give this to you for free."

Putting the strap in the swords sheath, Nezu then put it behind him. Now the sword hilt was on the back of his left shoulder and just need to reach his right hand over to quickly draw it.

After buying the thing he need, Nezu ask for the location of the Mercenary Guild and quietly left the shop and directly head towards it.

Walking at the bustling town, Nezu found himself deeper in the town, this town was divided in Outer and Inner Parts, the inner part was also sorrounded by thick high rock like walls and another metal gate but this time it was much smaller than the outer gate.

Paying another entrance fee of 1 silver, Nezu quickly find the Mercenary Guild, base on the description the blacksmith tolds him, the building can easily be spotted with it's huge structure and an Emblem that have a Black Dragon printed in it.

Seeing this awe inspiring building, Nezu calmly enter, the insides was just like a lobby in an inn but with more tables and chairs. Mercenary scattered around in groups chattering and laughing and some are just in the corner being a loner. Walking straight through this crowdy bunch, Nezu approach what he guess to be the counter since he can see a young beautiful woman in it wearing a uniform with a Black Dragon Emblem in the right chest area. Besides this counter was a very wide bulletin like board. It seemed like this is the mission board.
