LUCIFER'S HALF-SIDE

Chapter 4

At Rodriguez corps, Lucifer can be seen walking with Dracula by his side. Yes, he's the CEO of the famous and Richest company.

The no 1 eligible bachelor in all of New York city.

Thousands of years ago, a little hope was revived in Lucifer after he found out that he would soon have a half-side but was not told when.

4 years ago, he was finally told that his half-side was on earth, he was elated not caring that she was human.

He wanted to evade earth and search for her but was stopped by dracula who then devised a plan for him.

On earth, he took a form of a handsome, cute looking young guy and named himself Alfred Rodriguez, same goes with Dracula who named himself Jace Leonard.

He created a company with his powers which grew within the years making him the richest bachelor in all of America.

Everyday, he desperately searches earth but it turned futile.

He only goes to hell once in a while unless he's been summoned by the elders for a meeting.

" Good morning sir, morning sir" staffs greeted as he walked pass them head high with a stone cold face ignoring thier greetings.

Beside him is his PA, he also has a cold look on his face.

They got into the elevator ' Ding' the elevator reached the top, they came out and walked into Lucifer's office.

He sat on his chair while dracula sat in front of him.

" Um, you have a meeting with drex organization " Jace said while tapping on his pad

" Reschedule everything, I will not be doing anything today" Alfred said closing his eyes

" Um, b.bbut..." his words were cut off with a glare from Lucifer

Jace cleared his throat

" How's your search going? Do you have a clue about her?" Jace asked wiggling his brows

Alfred sucked in his breath, when it seems like he was not going to reply, he spoke up

" I don't even know how she looks like, I can't pick up her scent and it's driving me crazy.

I swear if I don't find her within 10 days, I'll destroy everything on this so called earth!" Alfred threatened without looking at him, fist folded tightly with no hint if a smile on his face.

Jace shuddered in fear as the thought of what Alfred said settled in him, he knew Alfred was not making empty threats.

He was Lucifer!

He could do it and no one would dare question him.

" My Lord, I think you should calm down, you'll definitely find her before them"

" Hmm"

" If you go berserk destroying the earth,I hope you know that it would affect your half-side..." He was cut off by a bang on the table.

Lucifer glared hard at him

" You talk too much, I guess you want me to rip off your mouth" Lucifer said warning

" N.nno, not my pretty mouth!" Jace said alarmed, he did a zip on his lips signaling shutting himself up.

" I'll leave then" he said with a bow and left

Meanwhile, Rihanna woke up late and had to hurry to the company.

Having the quickest bath ever, she didn't even rub body cream neither did she put on any makeup, just lip gloss.

She almost forgot the credentials she needed.

She cursed her luck for waking up late today of all days.

She had set an alarm and got up multiple times to check it but who knew the battery stopped working when it got to 6:00am.

It's like the whole universe was against her getting this job.

All thanks to Mae for calling to wish her luck 30 minutes before the interview.

Getting a cab was hectic, as she adjusted her clothes several times while running after them.

Finally succeeding in getting one, she sat down and dressed herself up, applying makeup and combing her hair with the cab driver staring weirdly at her through the rear mirror

The cab soon pulled to a halt in front of Rodriguez corp.

Stepping out of the cab, she paid the cab man and hurried inside the company at the same time using her hands to brush through her hair trying to smoothen it.

The secretary looked at her in disgust wondering what she wanted.

" Damn, she looks terrible with those make up she put on" Rihanna thought"

" Um, hi, my name is Rihanna Lopez, I'm here for the um, chef contract. I was told to come for an interview." Rihanna said with a smile ignoring the look on the secretary's face.

" I don't think you'll ever get it because,look at you, you look like a begger. I bet the beggers down the street looks better than you" she said insulting Rihanna.

she folded her fist as she tried controlling her temper while chanting in her head " calm down Riri, you're doing this for the contract".

She took a deep breath and was finally able to calm herself down, she forced a smile

" Could you please show me where the interview is taking place" she said through gritted teeth.

" Whatever, just make sure you don't steal anything, go into the elevator, the eight floor, you'll find people there" she said eyeing her

" Thanks and by the way, you are so ugly I could pass you for a frog" Rihanna said with a smirk and walked away with her heads high leaving the secretary fuming in anger.

She ran-walk checking her bag at the same time with her head bent not looking ahead only to bump into a wall.

" Ouch" She groaned rubbing her head and looked up to meet a chest

' a chest' she wondered looking up.

" What the fuck young lady! Are you blind?" A voice thundered and everyone on that floor sucked in thier breath

' Oh my good God! He's so handsome!'
