Chase's Pov

"Tesoro did you just call me stupid?", I asked her she stood there quietly like she saw a ghost. Her confidence is getting out of hand. "I didn't say anything, nor did I call you stupid you probably heard something else because you hear what you want," she said, I was surprised she barely spoke now she dares to come to my room and tell me I am hearing things.

I went closer to her knowing the effect I have on her, she stood with her hands crossed looking at me. "Tesoro where did you get this confidence from," I asked her still surprised. "It's not confidence I just can't stand it when someone treats their family like an outsider, it might not mean anything to you because you make it seem like you are this heartless man who doesn't care about anyone but himself. You hurt the person who cares for you, she made a mistake and she knows that but she doesn't need you to remind her, Charlotte is an adult, who knows what she is doing so instead of being a boss try being her older brother because she might need you more than ever now", she said in one breath, I was still trying to process what she told me before I could say anything she left my room.

Is she right, am I being too hard on Charlotte? Tesoro, what are you doing to me?

I went down to Charlotte's room to check on her, to see Elena there nursing her. I almost forgot Elena is a medical student, so she knows what she is doing. I knocked and the door Elena turned and saw me she smiled at me, after this I need to have a serious conversation with her, she knows the hold she has on me.
