1 CHAPTER 1

WRITER'S POV

"wow dad Italy is so beautiful ....can't we stay here for some more days please" she gave her best puppy eyes to her dad and mum . grace was having dinner with her parents whilst lost in admiring the beauty of Italy .

"no princess , your uni is starting after two days ...so we need to go back" her dad said with a gentle voice . grace loved her dad the most , he fulfilled her every wish and loved her to no end ....sometimes her mother even got jealous of the father daughter duo

"ok no more talks now finish your dinner sweetheart , tomorrow is our early morning flight" her mother said

"ok mum" she said but still silently prayed to god that somehow she gets to stay here more....

But little did she know that this place is going to be her home in future

After having there dinner she and her parents sat in the cab that her dad had already booked . they sat in the cab and grace expressions saddened as she realized that this is the last time she will be watching the beautiful place but her dad cheered her up..........

"come on princess dad loves your smile , I promise next time we will visit Greece ok " her dad said trying to lighten her mood

"promise dad" she said her face expression changed to smile

"yes" her dad promised

"wow dad I love you " she said but before her dad could even reply the car got flipped and everything blacked out ........

After few hours

Grace was trying a lot to breath properly , she wasn't so conscious anymore and her eyelids felt too heavy to even open ..her head was paining ..even she was feeling some liquid flowing through her head . when she heard some voice that was very familiar to her , she got more alerted...her both hands were chained to the walls and she was in half sitting position and so her parents

"listen please let me go to her , she is claustrophobic , she will die if I didn't calm her down" her mother olivia shouted at the people who were dressed in all black

"please let us save our daughter , if anything happens to her ..then your king will kill all of you" her dad Edward said furiously .

Hearing this the men got terrified because all of them knew how much important was the girl for their king and if anything happens to her ..their king would kill them in the most brutal way ....so due to fear they unchained olivia and Edward ...as soon as they got out of those chains they ran towards their precious daughter ...

"calm down grace , we are here ..breath in and breath out ..." olivia kept repeating her words while edward kept stroking her back to calm her down , slowly grace calmed down and opened her eyes .

"we are going to get us out of here , so you need to be strong grace " he said and she looked at her dad

"dad what happened , why are we here and what these people want from us " she asked in a low tone

"listen carefully grace ...we'll try to run from here and you'll do whatever we say ok ...do you promise" her mum said while a lone tear escaped her eyes

She was confused but still she nodded ...as she nodded Edward indicated olivia ...and all of a sudden Edward stand in front of the mysterious people and threw fire on them while olivia did something with her hands as if putting some spells and suddenly all the chains got vanished in the thin air . grace was still not conscious enough to see this

edward took her hand and started running ...as they ran out of the place they realized that they were somewhere in the middle of the forest

"Edward we won't be able to teleport ourselves ..this is a full moon night and our powers our weak ..we need to run " olivia said to Edward to which he nodded while grace looked at them in confusion but still followed what they do ...after almost half an hour of running they found the road and relief washed over them when they saw a cab coming towards them but suddenly they found that the night is getting darker , both Edward and olivia looked at eachother in fear they had realized the king itself was coming .......edward and olivia both turned towards grace ...

"listen my child you know na that we love love you " said her father cupping her face to which she nodded ...edward handed her a locket and a card which had someone's name and address...

"listen grace you go to the hotel in the taxi and catch the flight and go back to newyork and go to trey, this is his current address ..he'll help you and look after you ....and other than him do not trust anyone and if anyone claims to be trusted then run away from them ..........and be safe " He said as tear escaped his eyes ...hearing this grace started crying out...

"don't cry darling..we can't see you crying " olivia said kissing her forehead

"why dad why are you saying this, look taxi is here and we can leave together come let's go please mum please" she was crying hard with each passing sentence... the people who are the only reason she wants to live were asking her to leave them all alone in a dangerous situation

"princess you are strong and you promised us that you'll do whatever we say so now run and don't look back , we'll always love you ...now please go please " he said and made her sit in the taxi ....

Soon the taxi left from the place and the images of her parent fade away ...she ran towards the hotel grabbed her things and left for the airport but she was still reluctant to leave her parents ...she was standing waiting for the taxi but when she saw some dark shadows with eyes glowing red like the molten lava who was coming towards she started running aimlessly and before she could sense anything she got hit by a car and everything blacked out ...............
