Chapter 78

The moment they opened the door, the first thing they noticed was the tense atmosphere inside the room. Gian noticed his father's thick eyebrows that were sloped downwards because of his anger and the way he held the armrest was too tight. Sir Hans had an expressionless face and General Bishop had a frown on his face.

"...Father." Gian called the marquis carefully.

Noticing their presence, Marquis Cres Val took a deep breath as he suppressed the anger on his chest. In just a blink of an eye, the marquis's expression changed. He stands up and looked at Gian with a relaxed smile.

"Is our dinner ready?" Marquis Cres Val asked.

Gian only nods his head to answer his question. After that, the marquis turned his attention back to their guests.

"Gentlemen, let us all go to the dining area."
