Yan Hairong knelt with tears in her eyes as she begged the Fox King to spare her beloved mother. Yan Meifang the older of the two sisters held on to her younger sister in fear while watching as the Queen mother Yan Luanfei was sealed off within the mountain of terrifying fox fire. Her meridians crippled by the raw spirit energy of her husband.
"Ha-Hairong....I'm scared....."
Holding onto the robes of her younger sister, the feeble-minded fox princess cowered in fear as she saw her mother on her knees surrounded by a blue inferno of dense fox magic.
"My husband, what have I done! Why are you treating me this way?!"
Within the walls of the blue flames, an elegant beauty in long flowing silver hair, wore a blue silk robe that had a white fur draped across her shoulders. In both ears she had earrings of blue orbs and silver. A pendant of blue stone rested between her cleavage, on her head sat a silver crown that sparkled as though made from a multitude of stars.
"Why am I treating you this way, you say?! You even dare to feign ignorance?!"
Cold blue eyes flashed in anger at the woman that knelt several feet from where he stood.
"For the sake of our children, you cannot behave this way towards me! When you chased after a human, I did nothing! My pride as your consort forbade me from doing otherwise! But because I chose to bring up the matter that was long past, you decided to punish me!"
Yan Luanfei's pale eyes showed the pain and anguish of her husband's infidelity and betrayal.
"Reflect on what you have done for the next 80,000 years! Let this serve as a warning! Anyone that challenges my authority will face much worse!"

Yan Luanfei's pleas fell on deaf ears as the Fox King completely sealed the lower chambers, disappearing with his children as they both returned to the royal palace. Leaving behind the mother of his children in a prison made from the strongest shackles.
