Freda returned to the firm and walked straight to her office desk.

"How did the meeting go?" Manager Edgar's voice could be heard, and he was standing next to the desk of a new intern who had just resumed work today.

"The meeting went well." Freda responded before returning her gaze to her laptop.

She needed to clear Jayden's schedule for the entire day, which would elicit questions from business patterns.

Jayden's actions were rather irresponsible because if he wanted to have fun, he shouldn't have let it interfere with his work schedule.

Since Mr. Edgar had been managing the company, everything seemed to be going well, and with the assistance of Freda as his secretary, they never missed a business meeting unless they knew it would be fruitless. Right now, Jayden was just something else.

"Freda. I was expecting you to inform me about the contract."

Mr. Edgar expected Freda to explain how the contract signing went, rather than merely telling him that the meeting went well.

Freda didn't look at Mr. Edgar while she answered his question. "The contract states that both parties A and B must agree to all of the rules and regulations outlined in the contract. If party A asserts that party B…"

"That's enough, Freda. I was wondering if the deal had been signed. I didn't want you to explain what was written in the contract."

When she heard Mr. Edgar's statement, she shifted her gaze to him before speaking. "Ohh." Freda hughes.

Her little mouth, which was normally filled with tremendous words, curled into a circle and she smiled briefly. "The contract was signed."

Mr. Edgar let out a sigh of relief because he has been begging Mrs. Elizabeth to sign the contract but for an unknown reason she always disagrees with the perfect terms and conditions that are being mentioned in the contract.

One of the reasons why Mr. Edgar wanted Jayden to return to the company was because, many business partners want to know who owns the company with whom they are signing a contract.

Mr. Edgar turned towards the new company intern and kindly patted him on the shoulder.

The young man appeared to be in his early twenties and was young and handsome. "Aiden. Why don't you follow me so I can introduce you to our company's secretary?"

Aiden, the young intern, didn't see anything wrong with it and nodded shortly.

He stood up from his seat and followed Mr. Edgar till they arrived at Freda's desk.

Mr. Edgar wink at Aiden as a means of encouragement even though there's nothing special to encourage Aiden about. "Hello, Freda. This is Aiden, our new marketing intern."

Freda had a lot on her plate, so she didn't even look at Aiden as she nodded briefly. "Hello, Aiden. I'm Freda Rowan, and I have autism. My hobbies are reading and coloring. My favorite color is whi…."

Mr. Edgar waved his hands in the air as he interrupted Freda's statement.

Mr. Edgar cut her off on the first day she arrived at the company to look for work, and he chastised her.

She was seeking a secretarial position, and Mr. Edgar told her that a person with a disability was not qualified for the job.

Well. She proved him wrong!

"You don't have to tell everyone your favorite color is white."

Freda furrowed her brows and cast an inquiring look at Mr Edgar. "White ain't my favorite color." She declared in an attempt to correct him.

"Whatever." Mr. Edgar remarked, rolling his eyes at her.

Freda sighed and returned her gaze to the puzzle box, which she glanced at for a minute before shifting her gaze to her laptop to resume her work immediately.

"My name is Aiden Abraham." Freda nodded softly as the new intern spoke.

She didn't scowl at him, but Aiden was staring at her.

For some strange reason, he finds the red-haired lady known as Freda to be interesting.

"By the way, where is Jayden?" Mr. Edgar interrogated her.

"He left and will not be returning to the company today."

Mr. Edgar sighed, knowing that Jayden was no longer interested in this company.

Jayden had always made sure that this company was among the best companies in the world, but ever since some months back, Jayden no longer treats his company like his everything, instead he treats it as his toy.

Because Freda wasn't paying attention to her manager or Aiden, they both excused themselves, leaving Freda alone.

Within the next three hours, she turned off her laptop and after gathering her belongings, she proceeded to leave the firm.

"Manager Edgar. I'll be clocking out on time today because I have already rounded up on things that need to be done." Freda said while sitting in the manager's office.

He looked at his wristwatch and noticed that it was just half past four o'clock.

He understood that if Freda said she had taken care of the things that needed to be taken care of, she was definitely telling the truth.

"You are free to go." Mr. Edgar responded.

Freda stared at her puzzle box as she walked away, continuing to organize the puzzle that she had set for herself.

She hails a cab and rushes to Jayden's mansion because cleaning his house was now her new job.

Freda had also photocopied the maid contract, so when she arrived at Jayden's house, she was about to knock when she noticed that the door was slightly ajar.

She proceeded to enter the house, and as soon as she stepped into the sitting room, she saw Jayden without shirt and he had pinned the lady from earlier against the wall.

The lady was standing in between him.

Since Jayden was tall, he had to bend his back slightly as he breathed fiercely into the lady's neck, and he kissed her firmly without warning.

Freda didn't bother staring any longer because it made her uncomfortable. "I'll start my work right away." She announced, making her presence known.

Jayden pulled away from the lady and he didn't feel remorse about his action "Ohh. You've arrived, little lamb." Jayden muttered before shifting his gaze to Freda.

He smirked as he sneered. "Would you like to join?" He questioned, and then winked at her.
