CHAPTER 243: The Glimmer Of Hope

"Thank you very much for visiting us," the Baroness bowed as the guests left the mansion one after the other as soon as the sun started to set.

The Glatimor ladies stood in a straight line close to the entrance with Bane standing next to them as they bowed their heads and smiled while the visitors headed back to their abode.

"I left two of my most hardworking servants with you, Baroness Meleena. I am sure they will come in handy," a man said with a proud smile as though he had done the most generous thing in the world.

"Thank you, Duke Lanard. You are too kind," the Baroness appreciated while Aella clenched her fists with annoyance. She knew the servants weren't just for free. These people never made an action unless it benefitted them one way or the other.

"I will be holding a ball at my estate soon. I look forward to seeing the future Crown Princess there," he smiled at Aurelia before leaving the house.
