14 The Heir Of Slytherin

Tiberius Black was in the Slytherin common room, reading books. Until his peace and quiet were interrupted by Draco barging in.

Draco was tired as he ran from the duelling club. He told Tiberius what was going on.

MC POV

Draco was explaining to me what occurred in the duelling club.

"Tiberius, Harry Potter, the boy who lived is a parseltongue. Everyone saw him speak to the snake, and now people believe he's the heir of Slytherin."

I looked at him in fake surprise.

"That's interesting to hear, but I don't think Harry Potter is the heir. He's too kind and naive to do those horrible things to our fellow students."

"I guess you're right about that, Tiberius."

After that, he left, and I went back to reading. During Christmas, I stayed behind to learn to read more books in the library.

The restricted section is where I am hoping to get access to it.

I went back to my common room and relaxed on the couch a bit where I was approached by Crabbe and Goyle.

Crabbe, who was actually Harry, spoke.

"Hey Tiberius, we wanted to ask you something?"

I looked at him.

"What do you want to ask."

"Are you the heir of Slytherin?"

"No, I am not, and besides, I'm not a parseltonge like Salazar Slytherin."

The duo looked at each other in surprise.

"May I ask you a question, Crabbe?"

"If course Tiberius, what do you want to ask."

"Tell me, what are two Gryffindors doing the common room of Slytherin."

The pair looked shocked.

"How do you know Tiberius."

"That's a secret, Harry. I suggest you and Ron leave now." I got up from the sofa, and lightning appeared from my hands.

The two left but nor before Harry gave me a look of rage and distrust. I just smirked at him.

After the Christmas holiday was over, people were whispering about how Harry was the heir of Slytherin due to him being a parseltongue.

The Slytherins were not happy at the news that a Gryffindor might be related to Salazar Slytherin.

Weeks passed, and I carried on with my classes, I was doing my homework when, once more, Draco appeared.

"Tiberius, did you hear that big oaf Hagrid got sent Azkaban? Apparently, he was the one who opened the Chamber Of Secrets all those years ago."

"I see, that's quite far fetch, this Hagrid we are.talkong about. The big oaf is no murderer, I can tell through legitimacy."

Draco nodded at my words.

Later, Hermione Granger was found perified and suspicious of Harry being the heir of Slytherin was gone as Hermione was his best friend.

A few days passed, and I heard a scream, I came to find the source and saw another writing on the wall.

'HER SKELTON WILL LIE IN THE CHAMBER FOREVER'

Looks like Voldemort is making his move, so should I. I got out one of my invisibility potions and prepared to drink it, but I chose to wait. It's not time yet.

I also got another invisibility potion with me.

Tonight, I saw Harry walking towards the girls' bathroom alongside Gilderoy and Ron. I drank the invisibility potion.

I followed Harry, Ron, and Lockhart into the girls' bathroom and saw Harry opening the Chamber Of Secrets.

Gilderoy faked fainting and stole Ron's broken wand. When he tried casting a memory charm, it backfired on him.

This erased most of Gilderoy's memories and caused Harry and me in the direction of the chamber.

Ron was trying to clear a path, and Harry and I went to the entrance of the Chamber Of Secrets. Harry opened it using parseltongue.

I followed him and saw Ginny Weasely unconscious. Tom Riddle appeared, and I got my wand out in case he sensed my presence.

He did not. Could it be because he's not at full strength yet? I kept my guard up just in case he sensed me.

Then the Basilisk appeared, a spark fear ignited within me, but I prepared the Killing Curse if it attacked me.

It did not, and the Basilisk fought with Harry and Fawkes. Harry plunged the sword inside the top of the Basilisk's mouth, which killed it.

Harry has its fang stuck in his arm and is dying from the poison.

Harry got out the fang and stabbed the diary, which destroyed the Horcrux much to the dismay of Voldemort.

Fawkes healed him by giving Harry its tears. When they were leaving, I grabbed the fang that Harry used and drank another invisibility potion.

I followed Ginny and Harry out of the Chamber and went back to my common room with my prize.

I kept the fang of Basilisk inside my bag, I placed a Charm on it that it can only be opened by me.

The next day, I saw Lucius Malfoy storming off, and Harr followed him. This was the moment Dobby became a free Elf.

I went to the feast and heard Dumbledore stating that there would be no exams in this year, much to Hermione's dismay.

I received an owl from Arcturus stating that Dumbledore was being criticised for allowing Lockhart to work at Hogwarts.

The Minister of Magic said that Dumbledore should have used Legitimacy on Lockhart to see if he was telling the truth about his talents.

Overall, Dumbledore's reputation was a bit tarnished. The end of the second year was now, and I was in my compartment looking out the window.

I got out the train and met my grandfather, who took me home.

I showed him the Basilisk fang, and he was impressed. He looked annoyed when I told him about Voldemort.

"So he's still alive, Tom is like a cockroach who won't die no matter how much you step on it. Now the real question is how is he alive?"

Looks like Arcturus doesn't know about the Horcrux, I placed the fang of the Basilisk inside a safe in my room for further use.

I went to the training room and began my training again.
