The Chaotic Race

Ken is uneasy, he keeps contacting Lexus on his phone number, but he never answers. Ken doesn't like what he feels; he knows that Raven and Lexus are unaware that he is listening in the night of their talk before the Grand Ball Night.

Ken finds out that Raven knew that Lexus is in contact with his father.

Lexus makes sure it is nothing, that he is not working for his father and Mr. Hamilton's favor. After the incident, Ken's feelings start to unsettle; he keeps an eye over Lexus.

Lexus is acting weird and suspicious as much as Ken doesn't want to monitor him, he has no choice.

Ken remembers Lexus having a hard time sleeping last night. He said his insomnia attack, and he can't sleep.

Ken accompany him for a while and asks if there something's bother him;

"Are you alright, Lexus?" Ken asks

"I'm fine," he gulps the glass of water.

"It is Raven competition tomorrow, the University Board Committee acting weird; they suddenly arranged a Charity event. Knowing all the powerful families are in control of the University Board Committee. I also heard that International University has representatives in the upcoming charity events. Media will be there to covers it and telecast." Ken started to observe Lexus, who seems not interested.

Lexus never says a word, Ken clears his throat to catch his attention, and Lexus looks at him.

"Aren't you're going to sleep?" Lexus asks instead of avoiding the topic.

Ken is determined to push the conversation. He has the feeling that something is off with Lexus. He needs to find out.

"The University Board Committee makes a joined alliance in different International University Committee for such a charity event. I never imagine such an ambitious project that they easily make everyone agree. The project pass without a hassle. I'm thinking about how it is so easy for them, using the charity event as a way to easily swooned the public and media. I have the feelings convincing the Board Members of our University and International University Committee. They formulate another technique to lure them and agree." Ken said firmly.

Ken notices Lexus is not planning to speak or give his opinions; he felt his friend is not with him that his mind is somewhere else.

Ken sighs as a sign of giving up ", Okay, it seems you're not in the mood. I will go and sleep, but I have a hunch; they hide something from us, the University Board that we didn't know. They want to cover it in the Charity work, but there is something behind those intentions. Knowing those people who plan that event." Ken rests his hand on his chin.

Lexus seems in a deep trance. Ken gets up. ", You should go to sleep too, Lexus." Ken is concerned.

"Okay," Lexus briefly answer.

Ken walks away and goes to his room. In the morning, when he wakes up. Lexus is not there. Ken asks Raven where Lexus is, and he casually answers. "Exercising,"

Raven is preparing for his competition for that day later;

"I will go first; make sure you and Lexus will come to support me." Raven reminds them.

Ken unconsciously nods and smiles ", Of course."

Ken feels guilty that he has to lie to Raven that Lexus is with him and buying food. He spends the whole remaining hours before Raven's competition to find Lexus, but he is nowhere.

Ken is anxious, and Czerene can't help but notice,

"What is the matter?" Czerene asks

"I need to know where Lexus is. I never see him this morning." Ken answers wearily.

Czerene about to answer when they hear the speaker announce that the race will start

The racers are going inside their car. Raven, touch Faye's face and held her hand.

"Please take care, eyes on the road. Don't get distracted." Raven advised.

"Okay, be careful too" Faye squeeze Raven's hands as they both hear Ralph speaks.

"Let's go, guys. I'll be at your back and make sure one of you will win." Ralph smiles widely.

The racers go inside their car as the race is about to start;

The countdown begins, in a big screen shows the countdown 3, 2, 1,

The sexy muse waves the flag as the car pass by her one by one fast.

Ken and Czerene forget what they are talking about as their attention gets by the competition that starts.

Leigh is holding her chest in excitement as her cellphones vibrate, she views the message, and her heart beats faster.

"Leigh, please take care. Meeting you is the best thing that happens in my life." Lexus

It is Lexus's message to her. She feels her heart skips a beat. For two reasons: first, because it is sudden and it is sweet. Second, for unknown reasons, it makes her nervous.

"Where is Lexus?" Leigh asks to awaken Ken senses,

Ken snaps out of the trance ", I didn't see him this morning. why?"

"He sent me a message," Leigh replies,

"What it says?" Ken is curious

Leigh shows the message to Ken, "where is Lexus?" Leigh asks curiously.

"I don't know; he is acting weird this whole week." Ken answers

"What do you mean?" Leigh asks

"I think it has something to do with Raven's father, Mr. Hamilton." Ken states

"What Mr.Hamilton gotta do with Lexus?" Czerene is curious.

"Mr. Hamilton, asking some request from Lexus, that is what I hear from Raven and Lexus conversation. Lexus assures Raven he will not follow Mr. Hamilton's orders. Raven trusts him, and I trust him too." Ken explains

"I think we need to find him," Leigh says.

"Wait, but we need to wait for the race to finish first. The competition is crucial, especially to Faye. A professional level and Faye has never been in any professional competition," Czerene explains.

"Okay, here is the deal. Czerene, you watch the competition and look over Faye while I look for Lexus," Leigh suggests.

"But you don't know where Lexus is?" Ken stops Leigh.

"He is here, Lexus is here, and he will never miss a chance to watch Raven competition," Leigh stated

"Yeah, you're right. I will go and find Lexus too." Ken agrees.

Ken and Leigh headed to find Lexus while Czerene left on the bench to watch over the competition.

The race is intense; all the participating racers are competitive. Those racers do not care if they bump into the other car. They can make the other racer's car turns and twist. Their only care is to surpass the one that is in front of them and win the game.

Raven is watching over Faye. He let Faye take the lead so he can see her, and Ralph is in his back.

Raven observes in his position if Faye's car intentionally hit. He quickly takes action and immediately counter-attacks.

Raven is not a harsh player. He makes sure the three of them are safe. Raven tries not to injure anyone. But he needs to protect Faye from all the intentional attacks that come from their opponents.

Raven needs to make sure that Faye is safe, even if he needs to bump another car to make her safe.

Ralph does the same, the car that Raven didn't notice that's attacking him, Ralph dodge it for him.

Ralph is having a hard time since none looks after him. Ralph bumps into the other cars, and he felt all his muscles aches by the impact of the collisions.

The race is sure dirty; the name of the event hides its malicious intent.

Ralph sighs; he knew that the game would be risky, but he didn't expect to be this serious.

Raven knows that Ralph is having a hard time dodging the cars that keep on targeting him; they will pass the curve lines and have to drift.

Raven calm himself. He knows it is risky if one of the cars bumps to them; he knows the car will fly on the edge of the road downhill in the creek. Two things may only happen, you injure or die.

The three of them practice driving in this course. Somewhat familiar with the roads and how they can maneuver their car, but the current situations are different.

They have opponents everywhere who are willing to eliminate them in the race no matter what.

Faye is not ahead. There are two cars ahead of her, who are battling each other to win. The two-car ahead of Faye keep crashing at each other.

Raven can see it all how Faye maintains her third spot. Faye maintains a safe distance between the two colliding cars.

Raven knew that the curves are hard. The two cars ahead of them keep crushing on each other.

Raven is waiting. It's a matter of timing. He waits and gives a signal to Ralph.

Ralph can't follow Raven easily; he had a hard time blocking the opponents that wanted to pass through him and takes Raven and Faye's spot.

Raven's eyes are in focus, Faye drifts in the curves swiftly, and so he is.

The two cars that collide lost their balance after drifting in the deep curve. The two cars are so close to each other. The other driver didn't sync in the first car; the cars stumble.

Faye smiles sweetly, witnessing how the two cars in front of her keep on doing dirty tactics. The players want to win over each other. They stumble upon their own dirty game.

She passes through the curves. She looks at her side mirror; Raven is following her makes her feel relief.

Raven passes through the car collision in front of them swiftly; Ralph is having a hard time as two cars keep on bumping into his car for wanting to pass through him.

Ralph miraculously passes through the deep curve, but the collisions that happen didn't give him enough time to maneuver.

Ralph spins his wheel, and his car rotates. Raven sees the scene in his side-view side view mirror. He is worried for Ralph.

Ralph manages to control his car and hit the brake, and drift to stop.

The two-car that keep colliding in him does not control his wheel and loses their grip. Ralph immediately gets out of his car as the cars collide.

There is a loud crash surprise the racers staff. Raven sees what happen and how Ralph comes back to help the driver of the car.

Raven does the same, he maneuvers his car and comes back, and he stops and gets out of his car.

The stadium fills with an amused reaction to Raven and Ralph's action. They help the injured driver get out of their car.

Raven sees there is a car passes by them. He helps the injured racer. He looks at Ralph and gives a sign he needs to go. Ralph nods and says, "okay, leave them to me."

Raven quickly ride in his car and drive as fast as he could, he is going about 200 mph.

Raven is an adrenaline rush; he sees the car passes by him a while ago and takes over swiftly.

The driver is a persistent and dirty player. The car bumps in his repeatedly from the back; it pisses him off.

Raven drifts his car when the car about to hit him again; he quickly maneuvers his wheels to avoid the collisions as he sees the car stumble.

Raven has no time to get out of his car once again and help the driver. He peeps in his side-view mirror to make sure the racer is not hurt.

Raven tightens his grip on his steering wheel and continues driving when he saw the driver is okay. He needs to catch up with Faye and make sure she wins the race.
