Desave Underground: Eight

Eight,

When Shaina stepped inside the CCTV room, Cassandra and her troops followed her. She types and clicks fast. She's a badass in front of the computer. She started to cut the footages that contains her and her friends' troop.

"So, you are night?" A guy ask her. One of Cassandras' troop, she guess. She didn't say any word and keep silent. "I'll take that as a yes." The guy uttered. Making her eyes rolled.

When she finished deleting some footages, she step out of the CCTV room. Then, she threw the hat and mask that she used in the trash can besides the elevator.

She comeback to the store. The store where they bought the cat glasses, and acted like a innocent. She waited for her friend and after a coupoe of minutes, Cassandra showed up. "Where did you go? I was looking for you." She said, making her friend laugh. "Stop pretending, Shai." Cassandra replied.

When they returned home, Cassandra begins started to confront her. "Girl, believe me or not, I know where you were earlier." Then Cassandra winked. She rolled her eyes for the ninth time.

"Of course, I was in Kaokua when you left before the chaotic scene happened." Cassandra laughed loud when she heaed what Shaina said. "Stupid, I know that you were the one who saved our ass back there." Shaina was a bit shock but she acted normal and stay calm.

"How can you say so, Cass? I should be the one who's asking why you were there. It's fucking dangerous." Cassandra chuckled. "I was there for a mission. We're prohibited to say about that, even just the word 'mission' but I'll tell you coz if I knew that you are Night, I'm sure that you will join our Organization. So, yeah." Shaina frowned as she gets curious.

Shaina sighed. "Fine, I am the one and only night." Cassandra clapped her hands. "Gotcha! Hahaha!" Shaina rolled her eyes before she talked.

"Go ahead, tell me about that mission something. I told you, I need to go for a party tommorow." Cassandra clicks her tongue. "Fine, fine. But let me ask you a few questions." Shaina nodded, giving her friend a permission to ask her.

"Why do you do 'that'? I mean, we all knew that you were ambushing warehouse that is used for illegal purposes –alone. So, why are you doing that? For whom?" Cassandra asked her, with her serious voice and emotionless facial expression. Meaning, she's really serious and might kill her if she tell jokes or something silly.

"I know that Pasiannas' crime rate are getting higher and higher than the past years, especially here in Albane. I really hate crimes, I really do. That's why I'm making a way to lessen the crime rates. Another thing, I'm a law student. Maybe I can get more benefits. I mean, if I continue to do my work as night," she stopped talking for awhile and drink some water. "And graduated law, it will be more easier to put the suspects inside the jail. Because, it was me who reported them and send the proofs to the authority. Of course, I'll keep silent and hide my identity as night. That would be a big problem." Cassandra nodded after hearing her bestfriends' answer. "I really want to end the crimes here in Pasianna. I want Pasianna live peacefully like other country. I badly want Pasianna be a safe place, not just for the citizens but also for the tourist."

"Now, I'll tell you what that mission is all about." Cassandra paused for awhile. "There's a place here in Albane, of course. That is protected by the President's son. Jasper Keith Salva." Shainas' eyes widened as she heard her friend. "Foaba! Is he the one I was with back there in Ilocos? That annoying guy? Woah, is he really a Presidents' son? Then why'd everyone acts like they didn't knew him? Is he a illegimate child? Or because he is ugly?" Ugly?What a big lie. Shaina asker. Cassandra burst a loud laugh.

"Merciledis! Seriously, Shai?" Then she laughed again. She stopped laughing when she noticed how Shaina stares at her, it's very sharp. If stares could kill, she's now inside the coffin... for sure. "I'm just kidding!" Then, she pouted.

"Anyway, he's not a dam-n 'Ilegitimate child' it's his choice to hide his identity. Based from what he said, attentions from citizens are suffocating him. If his parents introduced him in public back then, he can't do whatever he wants. Coz media will meddle to his problems and such things. So, it's a 'nah' for him. His another reasons?" Cassandra paysed for awhile and take a sip from her juice. "First, it's because of Desave. Second, he don't want body guards of some stuffs who's willing to take a risk just to save or defend him. Third, he don't want media to meddle with his personal life. Just like what I've said earlier." Shaina nod, even though she don't know what does Desave for. She waits Cassandra to speak about Desave.

"Desave. Here, we're doing legal, based on citizens and our own eyes.. But in the eyes of the government, it's illegal. President Salva, and her wife is exempted. Since, they knew about this. We're also ambushing and attacking some warehouse that is used for illegal doings. And that, is our mission. In every mission that succeeded, we're going to have money. The salary is depending on the difficulty of the mission. If we succeeded, then we'll receive 50,000 to 100,000. And if we're going to take a easy-piece-of-cake type of mission, we'll receive 25,000 to 45,000. And if your mission is failed, the you will still receive 15,000." She paused for awhile and letting Shaina ask her a question. When Shaina doesn't, she Continue.

"And yes, we have groupings. There is more than twenty groups inside Desave. The top four in Desave are, Pistol, Snipper, Caliber, and Daitō. Daito is an Japanese Weapon. A sword, specifically. I know you already know that. Daitō came from Japan, and they are expert using Daitō, so yeah." Shaina nodded.

"Yeah, yeah. I get it." She stood up and walk towards the kitchen.

"The rest are history and I can't tell 'em to you because it's too long, you'll know abouy it while you're in the fam. By the way, I texted Jasper already about you, joining the fam. Were heading there, tommorow. Advance enjoy, sissy!" Cassandra shouted for her to hear what Cass says.

This girl is really loud. After drinking a glass of water, Shaina went upstairs and ignored Cassandra because she was busy watching television. And, she still had to go to the party tomorrow night. Her schedule for tommorow is really tight. She needs to go and attend her class from Morning to Afternoon. She don't know if she could still go to Desave because of her hectic schedule. But, she will make a way. She read the newspaper fast as she could for her to sleep early.

After Shaina read what she should've read, her attention focused on her phone and checked her social media accounts. She's slighty amazed when she saw Jaspers' name on ber 'followers' list. What a stalker.

Cassandra just texted me almost four hours ago, saying you joined Desave. Welcome to the family. And also, go to sleep now. It's already 1:20 in the morning.

She sighed and ignore his text. She charged her phone, change her clothes into a comfy panjamas and shirt before dozing off.
