Chapter 51 – Gu Yue Mo Meili I

"You are called Gu Yue Mo Meili, right? Do you have any connection with the Mo family?" Fang Yuan asked.

"A distant one." Mo Meili quietly answered.

"Is that so? Tell me everything about yourself and your family. Everything. From childhood until now." Fang Yuan ordered.

Mo Meili lowered her head and started fidgeting. She didn't want to talk about the situation in her family with anyone. But from Fang Yuan's tone, it was clear that he wouldn't take no for an answer. She bit her lips and sighed, resigning herself. Then she slowly started telling Fang Yuan everything about herself and her family. She only stopped when it had turned completely dark outside.

"Hm. I understand. You don't want to marry the person that your parents select for you right?" Fang Yuan asked.

"Yes." Mo Meili replied in a small voice.

"Okay, in that case, go tell your parents that you have become my lover now and also tell them that I will be giving you three primeval stones every week. This will help you out for the time being."

When Mo Meili heard what Fang Yuan said her head snapped up. She felt a little happy hearing the first part of what Fang Yuan said. But listening to what he said later, her face paled.

"For the time being? Are you saying that once this is settled, you will tell people that you broke up with me?" Mo Meili asked her lips quivering.

In the Gu world, everything was decided based on power. As such no one would look down on a woman who had been in a relationship with a man already. If a woman was powerful enough she could even form her reverse harem.

But this was established on the fact that the said woman was powerful enough to make the world respect her.

While her fellow clan members would not look down on her for being in a relationship before but this would hamper her marriage prospects. And if she was unlucky then her parents would marry her off to some fifty or sixty-year-old man. She didn't want this.

"Yes. Isn't that what you want? Once you let people know that we are not together anymore then you can go forward and marry someone you like. Or is it that you already have someone that you like? If that's the case let me know, if it is within my power then I can help you two to come together." Fang Yuan frowned when he saw the way Mo Meili acted. He thought that maybe this woman already had someone that she fancied and as such didn't want to go along with his plan.

But then he saw her shaking her head. This confused him even more.

"That's not it? Then what is it? Speak properly. Only then will I understand and be help you out of your current problem." Fang Yuan frowned and spoke.

Suddenly Gu Yue Mo Meili fell on her knees, banged her head on the floor, and began pleading.

"Fang Yuan please I beg you. Please. Please, accept me as your wife. If it isn't possible for me to become your wife then please accept me as your lover. Fang Yuan was taken aback by Gu Yue Mo Meili's sudden outburst.
