Never Trust the Devil

"Ah, Dia...!" Luci exclaimed.

"Heh..." He looked down.

"C-can it wait, I'm about to cook dinner for Nana and I-"

"No, we have absolutely no time to wait!" Dia huffed, placing her hands on her hips.

"Oh?" Luci chuckled nervously.

"Listen, big brother..."

Luci's eyes widened.

"What did you just-"

"We have to head back home, the ballot will be starting soon."

"H-hold on a second I really don't-"

"You are coming with me whether you like it or not, you were destined to become Hell's next ruler!" She cried.

"I won't let anyone, not you, not even father stand in our way!" She said, grabbing Luci by his collar.

"G-get off of me..." Luci grumbled.

"Hoh?" Dia smirked.

"Why big bro, are you angry...?" She asked, with amusement.

"L-Luci...?" Nana whimpered.

"Are you angry that I got to live my life, while you weren't allowed to live yours...?" She grinned.

"S-shut it..." Luci growled.

"Heck!" Dia cried.

"Bet you didn't even know you had any full siblings, huh?" She laughed.

As Nana could do nothing but watch in horror, she noticed Luci's physical appearance slowly altering.

Luci, shaking with rage shoved Dia off him.

"I SAID SHUT IT!" He screamed.

"Yes, excellent!" Dia cried.

"Let your anger grow, let your wings spread big brother!" She continued gleefully.

"Show Nana here the true nature of demons and Hell's next ruler!" She exclaimed.

Nana slowly backed away.

"L-LUCI!" She shrieked.

Luci let out a scream of agony, as his wings slowly spread.

"Nana..." Dia began, turning towards the girl.

"You poor, little fool..." She smirked.

"My brother here played you like a fiddle, having you think demons and humans can co-exist in harmony...?" She narrowed her eyes.

"Let this be a lesson to you little girl..."

"Never trust the devil!" She cried, laughing wickedly as her own wings began to spread.

"COME, LET US GO BACK WHERE WE BELONG, BIG BROTHER!" She declared.

"LUCI!" Nana screeched at the top her lungs as the two vanished.
