"M-meeting...?" Luci asked.

"Oh, don't worry, it's just to make sure everything checks out."

"Also to make sure that the board approves you." Randall chimed in.

"Randall darling would you please quit playing the teacher's pet?" Lumi said, smiling smugly.

"I-I'M NOT PLAYING THE TEACHER'S PET...!" He cried.

"More like the secretaries..." He muttered.

"Anyway," Lumi cleared her throat.

"Why don't you two just have a seat for now?" She smiled.

"Sure, thanks..." Luci said, taking a seat.

"Luci?" Nana whispered.

"Hah?" Luci asked.

"Can I have a bed?" She asked.

"Huh?" He turned to look at her.

"If we end up stayin' here, of course." He said, looking away.

"Really?" She smiled.

Luci stared at his lap silently.

She must've not had the luxury of sleeping in a bed... He thought to himself.

Nana, who was busy swinging her feet quickly looked up as a bell sounded.

"The meeting will now commence." Lumi announced, opening a door.

"Follow me." Randall said, holding the door.

"M-mm..." Luci gulped.

As he stood up, Nana grabbed his hand.

Her tiny fingers wrapping around his.

"Oi, what are ya..."

He then looked down, met by her curious gaze.

"F-fine..." Luci grumbled, as the two walked in the meeting room holding hands.
