Festival

              The time was moving quick to some people, while to others, the time was moving very slowly. Bethany couldn't help herself as she continues to look at the time, she has done some many things, but it's looks like the time was not moving at all, she was so eager and excited for the time to reach six o clock, so she can get ready for the festival.

"Aaah, why is the time so slow, I have done different things, but it still won't move, I even went to the market, bought some things, took a stroll, play some games" shouted Bethany in a frustrated manner. The time was currently 4:35, that's means an hour and twenty five minutes left. She kept on looking at the time till she fell asleep. The time finally got to six, but she was fast asleep.

Savarus was already at the gate waiting for Bethany, but he couldn't see any sign of her, he was patrolling the building to see if he could see her, but he didn't, he saw Bethany personal maid and stopped her, the moment he stopped her, she began blushing, heat creeping up to her cheek, but Savarus didn't pay any attention to it. 

"Please if I may ask, where is Bethany" asked Savarus.

"She is currently sleeping in her room" said the maid while trying to hide the heat creeping to her cheek.

"Please do wake her up, she's going to appreciate it".

"Sir, it's not in my place to wake her when she is sleeping, but if you insist".

"Please I insist, go and wake her up".

"Okay" the maid started walking to the direction of Bethany room 'who could ever resist a man as beautiful as him, he is too charming, how can I refuse his request' said the maid inwardly while reaching the room and knocking on the door but there was no reply. She sighed and open the door, then walk to the bed where Bethany was still fast asleep, the maid started tapping her gently to wake her up but it didn't seem to have any effect.

"My lady, please wake up, sir Savarus is here to see you" said the maid while tapping her, but there still wasn't any response. The maid was really tired of tapping her, she look around the room and found a little container filled with water, she pick the container and started sprinkling some water on Bethany, it didn't take time before Bethany quickly get up like she was having a dream in which she was being chase. She look around the room and saw the maid with the container filled with water.

"Why would you do that?" Asked Bethany.

"Sir Savarus is here to see you and he said I should wake you up, he also said that it's what you would have wanted" replied the maid.

"Why will he say that, wait what time is it" asked Bethany while cleaning her face, she has finally proceeded everything.

"It's 6:17 my lady, why did you ask?".

"Oh shit, I'm already late for the festival" shouted Bethany while running into the shower to take her bath and quickly dress up with the help of the maid.

Savarus and Bethany was currently walking towards the place, the festival is being held, the movement was very quiet until Savarus broke it.

"After all the anticipation and the eagerness for the festival, you later fell asleep some minutes to go" said Savarus in laughing way.

"Don't laugh at me, It wasn't my fault, it was the time fault for being too slow" said Bethany in a childish way.

"You can keep on blaming the time for your faultz because it doesn't have a mouth to fight back" said Savarus which cause the both of them to laugh out loud.

"Thanks by the way, if it wasn't for you, I would have miss this year festival and it was the only one I was given permission to go".

"You're welcome, I know how eager you are to attend the festival, so I just couldn't let you miss it".

"You are my hero, there is something I wanted to ask you, but it slipped my mind, where do you live"

"Around here".

"Do you mind showing me your place tomorrow" asked Bethany.

"Why do you want to go to my place".

"I just want to know where you stay".

"Okay, I don't mind".

"Thanks you".

"I can see that today is a special day for you, your mood said it all, you have thank me up to three times now, let's make sure you enjoy the festival as it's your first time attending".

"I know I gonna enjoy it" said Bethany, after their short walk, they have gotten to the avenue where the festival is being hold, the whole pathway was lit up with lanterns. Bethany was staring at it with eyes filled with bewilderment, stars could clearly be seen in her eyes.

"Are we going to stand here all day or go inside" asked Savarus after looking at her for some time. Bethany didn't reply to his word, she started walking inside, looking at the beautiful decorations put in place for the festival, as they got inside, they could see some people dancing, the music was soul taking.

"Do you care for a dance" asked Savarus, offering her his hand and bowing a little.

"It would be my pleasure" replied Bethany while accepting his hand. The music was so slow and gentle, the kind that touches the soul. Bethany and Savarus was moving to the flow of the music, they were so perfect together, some people in the dance floor was gazing at them with love filled eyes, why some with envy, once in a while Savarus would spin Bethany around, their eyes was looking at each other and were following the song like an expert, they didn't even know when everybody stopped dancing and was now looking at them.

The song was finally coming to an end, their finishing move got everybody grazing in awe. Savarus flip Bethany into the air and she did a tornado spin, as she was about to fall down, Savarus was already there to catch her. Everybody started cheering and clapping for them, Surprisingly a trophy was handle over to them.
